:00:00. > :00:00.Now on BBC1 it?s time for the news where you are.

:00:00. > :00:00.time since May. STUDIO: And that is the end of the sport. That is it

:00:00. > :00:11.involving Hungarian foreign nationals in north Belfast

:00:12. > :00:19.The PSNI say two Eastern European men were assaulted

:00:20. > :00:22.in the Glenbryn area and there were incidents

:00:23. > :00:28.at two homes in Hesketh Park. Mervyn Jess reports.

:00:29. > :00:36.This there was no one at home in the house at Hesketh Park that came

:00:37. > :00:40.under attack. It is believed Hungarian nationals had been living

:00:41. > :00:47.here. On Friday night, eight rubbish bin was thrown through the front

:00:48. > :00:51.window of the property. In Glenbryn, to eastern European men were set

:00:52. > :00:54.upon by men believed to be armed the hatchet and a knife. Police were

:00:55. > :00:58.called last to another house in Hesketh Park where a group of men

:00:59. > :01:02.with knives, making threats, had gathered outside the homes of other

:01:03. > :01:07.eastern European men. It appears there was another incident on Friday

:01:08. > :01:11.evening and as a result of somebody posting about that on Facebook, it

:01:12. > :01:17.seems that some people have taken matters into their own hands and

:01:18. > :01:20.these two attacks have resulted. Clearly, that is the wrong way to

:01:21. > :01:24.react to whatever accusations there were. No one was seriously injured

:01:25. > :01:27.in either of the incidents but the fact that a knife and a hatchet were

:01:28. > :01:30.used in one of the attacks has raised concerns.

:01:31. > :01:32.Lifeboat crews have been out near the shores of Lough Neagh

:01:33. > :01:37.They were called out to Six Mile Water early this morning.

:01:38. > :01:42.The man was last seen around Antrim marina yesterday afternoon.

:01:43. > :01:45.A police officer's been injured after a brick was thrown through

:01:46. > :01:47.the window of a police car in East Belfast.

:01:48. > :01:50.The PSNI were responding to reports that youths were throwing stones

:01:51. > :01:54.The Police say the trouble was not sectarian.

:01:55. > :02:08.Usually a quiet area of the city, but at around 10:30pm last night,

:02:09. > :02:12.groups of youngsters gathered here on grand Parade and threw stones at

:02:13. > :02:17.each other. Passing cars were also a target. When the police arrived, a

:02:18. > :02:21.brick was thrown at one of the patrol cars, smashing a window and

:02:22. > :02:25.injuring an officer. He needed hospital treatment for a facial

:02:26. > :02:30.injury. A local councillor says there is a core group of youths in

:02:31. > :02:35.the area causing the trouble. There are crowds of young people, some of

:02:36. > :02:41.them as young as 13, 12, 14, who gather at weekends, but also

:02:42. > :02:44.sometimes during the week. They gather in the parks, they get drunk,

:02:45. > :02:50.they get involved in anti-social behaviour, fights break out and just

:02:51. > :02:54.general disorder. In a statement, the police say they are taking this

:02:55. > :02:57.incident seriously and they say there is a distinct possibility of a

:02:58. > :03:01.criminal record for anyone who was involved. They are also asking

:03:02. > :03:06.parents of children who they think might be up to no good to talk to

:03:07. > :03:07.their children and to warn them of the implications of having a

:03:08. > :03:12.criminal record. over whether extra powers

:03:13. > :03:15.should be given to Stormont, in the wake of the

:03:16. > :03:18.Scottish referendum. The Prime Minister has promised

:03:19. > :03:20.devolution changes that will be fair to the people of Scotland, England,

:03:21. > :03:24.Wales and Northern Ireland. Speaking on the Sunday Politics

:03:25. > :03:27.show, Sinn Fein MLA Daith McKay said these

:03:28. > :03:40.changes had to include tax powers. In terms of taxation and in terms of

:03:41. > :03:45.economic growth, we always underperform. We cannot perform

:03:46. > :03:50.because the taxation rates are not set, so we would like to see the

:03:51. > :03:54.abolition of passenger duty, which would encourage tourism, and more

:03:55. > :03:58.people coming to the north to spend money, which would create jobs and

:03:59. > :04:04.more tax revenues. The fact of the matter is the corporation tax, APD,

:04:05. > :04:10.all of them said for revenue and when we see them reset, we will see

:04:11. > :04:16.economic growth, creation of jobs and better public services. Let him

:04:17. > :04:20.be honest with people, would he put up to finance these fantasy projects

:04:21. > :04:25.that Sinn Fein wish to have, the truth is nobody has ever raised

:04:26. > :04:29.their hand to put up tax in Northern Ireland and this idea that every tax

:04:30. > :04:30.cut can be self financing really is ludicrous.

:04:31. > :04:33.And you can see Sunday Politics again tonight on BBC Two at 11pm.

:04:34. > :04:36.Gaelic football now and Kerry are the all-Ireland champions -

:04:37. > :04:39.they beat Donegal by three points this afternoon at Croke Park.

:04:40. > :04:45.Our reporter Mark Sidebottom was there.

:04:46. > :04:52.It won't go down as a classic but that won't matter in Kerry on a day

:04:53. > :04:59.when defences dominated, goals with a difference, and Kerry's first came

:05:00. > :05:03.very early on. For all of that, like all did manage to go in level at the

:05:04. > :05:08.break but the game's defining moment arguably came at the midpoint of the

:05:09. > :05:11.second half. The Donegal keeper fluffed a kick out and Donaghadee

:05:12. > :05:20.took full advantage. The game exploded into life. Then the last

:05:21. > :05:27.attack of the game, bustled forward, a deflected shot and McFadden

:05:28. > :05:33.following up off the post. Such are the margins. Kerry's 37th title,

:05:34. > :05:39.Donegal's search for a third goes on.

:05:40. > :05:45.It has been another lovely day, but as the weather going to hold for the

:05:46. > :05:49.week ahead? Here is Cecilia. Good evening. It has been a cracker

:05:50. > :05:54.of a weekend, some alike in many places with temperatures more

:05:55. > :05:57.typical of mid-July. This hidden gem in County Antrim looking beautiful

:05:58. > :06:01.in the weekend sunshine and it looks as though it may have been a little

:06:02. > :06:05.bit too warm for some of the ducks at Hillsborough lake. It certainly

:06:06. > :06:09.won't be too warm tonight, clear skies mean another chilly night,

:06:10. > :06:14.temperatures tumbling away, getting to low single values, a degree also

:06:15. > :06:18.lower than you see on the map in some spots, so there may be a touch

:06:19. > :06:22.of frost on the grass tomorrow morning, and even some fog around.

:06:23. > :06:26.Bear that in mind, tomorrow morning, it will die slowly down but

:06:27. > :06:30.mid-morning onwards, most of it has gone. The best of the sunshine in

:06:31. > :06:34.the east and it will stay dry through the day across Northern

:06:35. > :06:38.Ireland. This trip brain is a weather front bringing rain to

:06:39. > :06:45.north-west Scotland and it will eventually come to western parts of

:06:46. > :06:48.Ireland -- this strip of rain. Best temperatures in the east. The best

:06:49. > :06:52.of the warmth tomorrow will be in the east, more clout in the West but

:06:53. > :06:56.it is after dark before that cloudy, damp weather comes eastwards

:06:57. > :07:00.and when it does, it means a much milder night tomorrow night, so we

:07:01. > :07:04.don't have to worry about frost. The rest of the week will be mild but

:07:05. > :07:09.cloudy at times, the error is coming in from the Atlantic, pressure is

:07:10. > :07:12.still high, so any weather fronts we will only get spit sunspots of

:07:13. > :07:16.drizzle, but there will be areas of cloud and the best of the

:07:17. > :07:21.temperatures will be in the East. Our next BBC Newsline bulletin is

:07:22. > :07:23.at 10:20 this evening.

:07:24. > :07:26.Until then, you can keep up to date with local news on BBC Radio Ulster

:07:27. > :07:28.or on the local news online service. From everyone on the BBC Newsline

:07:29. > :07:39.team, goodbye. Paisley Paisley was a great man for

:07:40. > :07:42.lighting the fuse and scampering off. Ulster shall remain firm til

:07:43. > :07:45.the very end! He was a conviction-led politician.

:07:46. > :07:49.No surrender! He will be remembered ultimately for

:07:50. > :07:53.the peace and not the schism.
