:00:10. > :00:14.out a series of attacks in the city on Friday night as cowards.

:00:15. > :00:20.A hundred and twenty nine people were killed

:00:21. > :00:23.and more than three hundred were injured, including one Irishman.

:00:24. > :00:25.The co-ordinated attacks which have been claimed by the

:00:26. > :00:27.so called Islamic State involved suicide bombers and gunmen

:00:28. > :00:30.and were the worst in France since the Second World War.

:00:31. > :00:32.The victims were remembered at church services across the French

:00:33. > :00:43.capital this morning - from Paris, BBC Newsline's Mark Simpson reports.

:00:44. > :00:52.Amid the security, there is solidarity. Today Peruvians came

:00:53. > :00:56.together to reflect and to remember. -- people from Paris. This was the

:00:57. > :01:02.main meeting point in Paris for Irish Catholics, the chapel at the

:01:03. > :01:07.Irish college. Freddie's killings and the killers were condemned. The

:01:08. > :01:11.man with a gun is a coward because he is afraid of dialogue and to be

:01:12. > :01:16.open to the other person's truth. There is no dialogue with people

:01:17. > :01:21.with guns. At the service was Jessica Garratt, wife of the former

:01:22. > :01:26.rugby international Roman who now coaches in France. We are all

:01:27. > :01:36.frightened. We live outside the city but we are still worried about

:01:37. > :01:38.letting our children outside and going outside, but we are staying

:01:39. > :01:41.away from the thing. Every section of life in Paris including the Irish

:01:42. > :01:46.community has been affected by Freddie's tragic events. We know of

:01:47. > :01:48.one case, an individual who has been injured and has had medical

:01:49. > :01:54.attention and we have been supporting them. It is a complex

:01:55. > :01:57.situation. The director of the Irish cultural centre in Paris comes from

:01:58. > :02:00.Belfast. Coming from Northern Ireland, I have been thinking a lot

:02:01. > :02:09.about Gordon Wilson have been thinking a lot about Gordon Wilson

:02:10. > :02:15.after. I hope that this will lead to negotiation and serious peace talks.

:02:16. > :02:19.Amid the sadness, there is nervousness, the armed police, the

:02:20. > :02:23.soldiers are on the street to make people from Paris and visitors feel

:02:24. > :02:28.secure but sometimes that can have the opposite effect. It is not easy

:02:29. > :02:32.but in the face of despair, the city is trying desperately to find hope

:02:33. > :02:33.for the future. Mark Simpson, BBC Newsline, Paris.

:02:34. > :02:36.The new leader of the SDLP says the party will have

:02:37. > :02:38.a high standard when considering whether to back any agreement

:02:39. > :02:41.The Foyle MLA Colum Eastwood beat Alasdair McDonnell,

:02:42. > :02:44.in a vote at the party conference in Armagh yesterday.

:02:45. > :02:45.Talks between the five biggest parties and

:02:46. > :02:48.the British and Irish government will resume at Stormont tomorrow,

:02:49. > :02:50.with indications the negotiations are in the final stages.

:02:51. > :03:04.Mr Eastwood says the party wants a deal which will work.

:03:05. > :03:11.We will look at the detail when it arises, we have a high standard and

:03:12. > :03:15.we do not want to see half the deal, we do not want to see negotiating

:03:16. > :03:19.happening next week or in a year's time, people want to see these

:03:20. > :03:21.issues resolved but they have to be resolved properly.

:03:22. > :03:23.A five-year-old boy is in hospital with serious injuries

:03:24. > :03:34.after falling from a bathroom window at a house in North Belfast.

:03:35. > :03:36.GAA now and ten-times winners Crossmaglen Rangers are back

:03:37. > :03:38.in the Ulster Club Championship final after beating Kilcoo

:03:39. > :03:41.They'll meet Scotstown in the provincial decider.

:03:42. > :03:56.In keeping with so many sporting events over the weekend, a minute's

:03:57. > :04:02.silence was observed for the victims of the attacks in Paris. Played in

:04:03. > :04:08.driving wind and pouring rain, Crossmaglen were relentless. Having

:04:09. > :04:15.carved out this goal opportunity, only to be denied by the

:04:16. > :04:25.post-dot-macro they pushed on, four points, winning margin. We have

:04:26. > :04:30.plenty more to work on, we've made hard work of that game, basic

:04:31. > :04:34.mistakes and I do not blame the weather, it is down to bad execution

:04:35. > :04:41.and we take responsibility. It is great we weeks to work on it. Jamie

:04:42. > :04:45.Clark is back from his travels and pushing for a place in the final

:04:46. > :04:49.against Scotstown which is in a fortnight's time.

:04:50. > :04:54.A look ahead now to a story Donna will have on BBC Newsline this week.

:04:55. > :05:04.This cafe is a place people come to eat drink and chat. Also come here

:05:05. > :05:08.to complete a jail sentence or are on remand. A very different new

:05:09. > :05:12.regime has been introduced by the Prison Service to help rehabilitate

:05:13. > :05:17.the young men and women who are sent here. On BBC Newsline I discover

:05:18. > :05:18.more inside the renamed Hydebank Wood college.

:05:19. > :05:21.You can see more on that story this week here on BBC Newsline.

:05:22. > :05:38.We have had a lot of rain, it has caused problems, this was the scene

:05:39. > :05:41.in County Tyrone. Not too far away in County Donegal we also have some

:05:42. > :05:45.flooding. Thank you for your photographs, please keep them coming

:05:46. > :05:48.in. As we make our way through this evening, there will be a continuing

:05:49. > :05:52.flow of scattered showers coming in from the west, it will also be a

:05:53. > :05:57.cold night, as temperatures for some will fall close to freezing.

:05:58. > :06:00.Tomorrow will be a cold feeling day, there will also be scattered showers

:06:01. > :06:03.and we do hold on to the south-westerly winds as well but

:06:04. > :06:18.unlike today, in between the showers, it will be brighter,

:06:19. > :06:20.south-westerly winds stay with us and will bring scattered showers.

:06:21. > :06:23.More persistent rain in western areas of Scotland and we will see

:06:24. > :06:27.rain coming across the south coast of Ireland and into the Midlands.

:06:28. > :06:32.North of that, a brighter picture with more sunshine. For England and

:06:33. > :06:36.Wales, largely dry picture of the work will be cloudy. For us in the

:06:37. > :06:40.afternoon, decent amounts of sunshine, broken by the odd shower

:06:41. > :06:43.and temperatures are best around seven or 8 degrees. It will turn

:06:44. > :06:54.largely dry and another chilly night to come and after that, Tuesday will

:06:55. > :06:56.be unsettled once more. Low pressure will come in, bringing outbreaks of

:06:57. > :06:59.rain and some of it will be heavy and persistent at times, the odd

:07:00. > :07:01.spot of flooding on the roads with temperatures around seven or 8

:07:02. > :07:04.degrees but most of the rain will clear by Tuesday evening. As for the

:07:05. > :07:07.rest of the week, we have a series of low pressure systems ready to

:07:08. > :07:11.come in from the Atlantic, they will bring gusty winds at times and

:07:12. > :07:15.outbreaks of rain, but not all the time, there will be dry weather and

:07:16. > :07:18.sunshine. We will keep you up-to-date, stay tuned to the
