:00:30. > :00:34.Gerard Bradley arrived at St Malachy's Catholic church
:00:35. > :00:40.In stark contrast to the scene of the construction site accident
:00:41. > :00:45.in Perth in western Australia that caused his death ten days ago.
:00:46. > :00:48.Gerard Bradley died along with his workmate Joe McDermott from Omagh
:00:49. > :00:56.when they were crushed by a large concrete slab on the building site.
:00:57. > :00:58.This afternoon hundreds of people gathered to pay
:00:59. > :01:01.their respects as the Bradley family accompanied the coffin into
:01:02. > :01:04.St Malachy's for what was described as a celebration and thanksgiving
:01:05. > :01:11.During the funeral service the parish priest reflected on that
:01:12. > :01:19.moment ten days ago that changed the lives of the Bradley family forever.
:01:20. > :01:25.In a single moment last week their lives were turned upside down when
:01:26. > :01:29.the news came that Jarrett had died so suddenly and tragically. In a
:01:30. > :01:32.single moment they found themselves caught up in the middle of the
:01:33. > :01:34.situation you would not wish on anyone.
:01:35. > :01:40.After requiem mass Gerard Bradley was burined in a nearby cemtery.
:01:41. > :01:42.A number of roads have been closed across counties Fermanagh,
:01:43. > :01:46.Tyrone and Londonderry due to flooding as Storm Desmond sweeps
:01:47. > :01:51.Parts of the west coast have been the worst affected.
:01:52. > :02:00.The centre of Larne got a blast of Storm Desmond last night -
:02:01. > :02:02.Dunluce Street and Lower Cross Street closed after high
:02:03. > :02:06.In the Creggan area of Derry, the sandbags are ready as residents
:02:07. > :02:16.All night it rained - and with sodden ground the water has
:02:17. > :02:20.And further south - Storm Desmond battered the west coast
:02:21. > :02:29.County Donegal - and areas of Letterkenney were left
:02:30. > :02:34.Further south again and in the town of Kenmare in County Kerry
:02:35. > :02:38.the water is still rising. Although another 50mm of rain is expected
:02:39. > :02:41.overnight - people up and down the west coast are hoping the
:02:42. > :02:46.The railway station in Londonderry has been evacuated due to
:02:47. > :02:52.It follows reports that suspicious objects were left there and also
:02:53. > :02:55.in the nearby Quarry Steps area of Spencer Road.
:02:56. > :03:02.Trains have been cancelled and bus substitution services put in place.
:03:03. > :03:05.Meanwhile, the annual Apprentice Boys of Derry parade took place in
:03:06. > :03:07.the city and passed off without incident. Here's our North-West
:03:08. > :03:23.Despite heavy rain and driving wind mini visiting Apprentice Boys made
:03:24. > :03:26.the trip to the city today for the annual rate. Conditions were the
:03:27. > :03:31.worst they've been in recent years but it did not deter the marchers
:03:32. > :03:37.taking part. It was estimated at around 1500 members of the loyal
:03:38. > :03:41.order accompanied by 30 vans converged on the city for the
:03:42. > :03:46.demonstration. You can see the conditions are adverse but the
:03:47. > :03:51.turnout of the visiting clubs, they are totally committed. This is the
:03:52. > :03:56.most important date in the calendar this association. The marchers made
:03:57. > :04:02.away in and around the city centre before a religious service. Today
:04:03. > :04:07.has been successful for parading in Londonderry. Derry City has worked
:04:08. > :04:11.hard to make sure parading is a success and I pay tribute to those
:04:12. > :04:18.behind the scenes who worked hard, affinity groups, Apprentice Boys and
:04:19. > :04:23.traders and city centre managers. In keeping with tradition after the
:04:24. > :04:26.main parade an effigy of the traitor Lundy was burned in Bishop Street.

:04:30. > :04:44.Storm Desmond has been having an impact. Debris on roads, flooding in
:04:45. > :04:50.places and power outages across parts of the Republic. Here in
:04:51. > :04:52.Northern Ireland there is a warning remaining in place throughout the
:04:53. > :04:56.night of the risk of further disruption. The rain could be the
:04:57. > :05:00.main concern, very wet through this evening with heavy and persistent
:05:01. > :05:05.arrests of rain especially in the West. And of course we have those
:05:06. > :05:09.gusty winds as well, up to 60 miles an hour. They tend to ease through
:05:10. > :05:14.the night as the rain moves away. But still blustery and showers
:05:15. > :05:24.coming through, some wintry on the hilltops. Into tomorrow it is a
:05:25. > :05:28.brighter and drier day. Still quite gusty and places to begin with with
:05:29. > :05:33.showers running through for a time. But at least we have some sunshine.
:05:34. > :05:37.Dry weather and sunshine across the Republic, Wales, central and
:05:38. > :05:42.northern England. Still wet and windy in the far south and
:05:43. > :05:45.south-east but also miles. Elsewhere temperatures starting to come down.

:05:52. > :05:55.across the mountains likely to turn to sleet and snow. Well in Northern
:05:56. > :06:01.Ireland in the afternoon it is dry and temperatures are down at around
