:00:55. > :00:57.Paul Donnelly, who was 36 and from Collinview in west Belfast,

:00:58. > :00:59.was in a car which was in collision with another vehicle

:01:00. > :01:02.on the Magheraknock Road at about 7.30 last night.

:01:03. > :01:04.A 32-year-old man and five-year-old girl who were also injured

:01:05. > :01:20.in the crash are in a stable condition in hospital.

:01:21. > :01:22.The Victims Commissioner says new talks between the political

:01:23. > :01:24.parties to try and get agreement on dealing with outstanding legacy

:01:25. > :01:28.The Government's been accused of failing to deliver

:01:29. > :01:30.on a commitment made in the Stormont House Agreement,

:01:31. > :01:32.by insisting on a veto on material to protect national security.

:01:33. > :01:34.Judith Thompson told the Sunday Politics programme

:01:35. > :01:37.there is a level of energy and common purpose that wasn't

:01:38. > :01:50.What was being developed at the very close of those talks was a move

:01:51. > :01:55.towards some sort of judicial model where the director of that new HIU,

:01:56. > :02:00.even if they felt that national security was being used as an excuse

:02:01. > :02:03.to cover up things which were uncomfortable, rather than security

:02:04. > :02:07.sensitive, then they could go to a judicial process. That process, the

:02:08. > :02:10.nature of it was not fully agreed but there are ways of doing creative

:02:11. > :02:12.thinking around that. And you can see Sunday Politics

:02:13. > :02:16.again at 11pm tonight on BBC2. A 28 year-old man's been charged

:02:17. > :02:18.with burglary and motoring offences after a police chase

:02:19. > :02:20.on the Shore Road in north He'll appear at Belfast

:02:21. > :02:23.magistrates' court tomorrow. A 30 year-old woman who was arrested

:02:24. > :02:26.at the same time has been released Both Northern Ireland

:02:27. > :02:31.and the Republic know which teams they'll face in next summer's

:02:32. > :02:34.European Championships in France. The draw took place

:02:35. > :02:52.last night in Paris. The ultimate test awaits for Michael

:02:53. > :02:56.O'Neill. Drawn alongside world champions Germany in a difficult

:02:57. > :02:59.group. One in which the manager believes his players can succeed. We

:03:00. > :03:05.have always done well in these games. I would not fear Poland or

:03:06. > :03:12.Ukraine and I think the fixtures, the fact that we played the three

:03:13. > :03:16.games in the order we get them, give us the opportunity to get points on

:03:17. > :03:19.the board and get belief and momentum. For Maarten O'Neill and

:03:20. > :03:25.the Republic of Ireland who had faced Germany and Poland in

:03:26. > :03:29.qualifying it was worse... Italy. Belgium currently ranked number one

:03:30. > :03:34.in the world and Italy in their group along with Sweden. The draw is

:03:35. > :03:39.difficult, I do not know how Michael feels, I can tell him plenty about

:03:40. > :03:43.it, he was probably carried off on a stretcher himself as well. I thought

:03:44. > :03:47.I was looking forward to the draw and maybe I am not so sure now.

:03:48. > :03:53.Michael O'Neill and his players can look forward to an opening game

:03:54. > :03:56.against Poland on June the 12th while Martin O'Neill and the

:03:57. > :03:57.Republic of Ireland will look forward to their opening game

:03:58. > :04:01.against Sweden, 24 hours later. Speaking at a charity event this

:04:02. > :04:04.morning, Northern Ireland midfielder Niall McGinn said excitement

:04:05. > :04:18.about the tournament is building A very tough draw but there is

:04:19. > :04:22.excitement. To be there is great and seen the teams we are up against, it

:04:23. > :04:29.will be unbelievable when we get there. A tough game, tough games but

:04:30. > :04:31.they will be wary of us, so it will be unbelievable. I am looking

:04:32. > :04:32.forward to it. Now - this week on BBC Newsline,

:04:33. > :04:35.our reporter Colletta Smith has been finding out what supermarket price

:04:36. > :04:45.wars mean for the Christmas food It is that time of year when people

:04:46. > :04:49.are stocking their cupboards and stuffing their fridges. This year

:04:50. > :04:53.there is good news. When it comes to groceries the price of the Christmas

:04:54. > :04:59.shop is the cheapest it has been in the last four years. Stores are

:05:00. > :05:05.working hard to temper then. 35% cheaper for gammon joint, Brussels

:05:06. > :05:09.sprouts this year will be less than last year. Global conditions are

:05:10. > :05:13.lining just in time for Christmas food buyers.

:05:14. > :05:15.That's coming up this week on BBC Newsline.

:05:16. > :05:23.And now with the weather here's Geoff Maskell.

:05:24. > :05:29.We have a try if cloudy evening. That cloud cover should be enough to

:05:30. > :05:35.keep the temperature is well above freezing and it will not be as cold

:05:36. > :05:39.tonight as it was last night. We will see lows of two or three

:05:40. > :05:44.degrees. For the start of the week we are looking at a reasonable day.

:05:45. > :05:50.Still plenty of cloud cover around but it will be pretty dry as we go

:05:51. > :05:53.through Monday. Starting to draw some warmer air end which will help

:05:54. > :05:58.the temperatures up to nine or 10 degrees as we move through the day,

:05:59. > :06:02.rain around and we will see that as we take is wider view across the

:06:03. > :06:06.British Isles and rain is working its way across Ireland but it should

:06:07. > :06:11.not reach us during the daylight hours. Cloud cover across England

:06:12. > :06:16.and Wales and cooler temperatures across Scotland but in Northern

:06:17. > :06:21.Ireland, a pretty dry day, the odd shower, but it is not until the

:06:22. > :06:26.evening when rain starts to approach. Temperatures respectable

:06:27. > :06:29.for the time of year, daytime highs of nine or ten agrees. That is

:06:30. > :06:34.pretty good for the middle of December. Heading through this week,

:06:35. > :06:41.a gentle increase in the temperatures is a theme, it will be

:06:42. > :06:45.cloudy, a bit unsettled at times, but certainly increasingly mild

:06:46. > :06:49.conditions. Plenty of low pressure systems in the Atlantic but this

:06:50. > :06:53.high will keep the worst of them at bay and what we will do is straw in

:06:54. > :06:58.some are from the continent, a warmer direction and that is what

:06:59. > :07:02.will help the temperatures. Tuesday you can see that south-easterly

:07:03. > :07:05.breeze feeding N and it will be another day where we get into

:07:06. > :07:08.double-figure temperatures, rain arriving later in the day on

:07:09. > :07:23.Tuesday. As we get towards the end of the

:07:24. > :07:26.week, in particular Thursday, highs of up to 13 degrees which for the

:07:27. > :07:28.middle of December is very mild indeed.

:07:29. > :07:31.Our next BBC Newsline bulletin is at a quarter past
