:00:07. > :00:09.Several homes have been badly damaged in an early-morning

:00:10. > :00:12.Fire officers say it may have started accidentally.

:00:13. > :00:28.Fire crews were called at around 4:30am this morning to Wear one

:00:29. > :00:36.building in the talents was already well alight. No one was hurt but

:00:37. > :00:40.people had to move to safety quickly. They are now being helped

:00:41. > :00:45.by family and friends knowing they had a narrow escape. Among those

:00:46. > :00:48.rescued were only young family awoken by the warnings of a

:00:49. > :00:51.neighbour. Everyone is safe and it looks like all the presents the

:00:52. > :00:58.children received yesterday have been destroyed. The Fire Service

:00:59. > :01:02.says several local crews were deployed but the ferocity of the

:01:03. > :01:07.blaze has led to structural damage. I dread to think what happened

:01:08. > :01:11.because a number have been left temporarily homeless. Credit has to

:01:12. > :01:18.be given for those brave people coming out in the early hours of

:01:19. > :01:22.Boxing Day and once again thank God there has been no fatalities.

:01:23. > :01:24.Council officials have cordoned off the properties for free part of one

:01:25. > :01:25.of may collapse. Two men have been

:01:26. > :01:27.stabbed in west Belfast. The victims, who are in their 20s,

:01:28. > :01:30.were attacked by a man on a footbridge close

:01:31. > :01:32.to the Westlink at 7 Their injuries aren't believed

:01:33. > :01:37.to be life-threatening. Just over 18 months ago,

:01:38. > :01:40.50 workers at a County Tyrone cheese factory were given their redundancy

:01:41. > :01:43.notices and a century of milk processing in the Clogher

:01:44. > :01:46.Valley was about to end. But now Fivemiletown Creamery

:01:47. > :01:48.is continuing the cheese making tradition, winning awards

:01:49. > :01:50.and new customers. Our south west reporter

:01:51. > :02:08.Julian Fowler has the story. In April 2014, the factory gates

:02:09. > :02:13.were about to close for good. The business had suffered large losses

:02:14. > :02:18.and the factory was sold. Staff were given their redundancy notices until

:02:19. > :02:22.their jobs were at an end. But then Dale farm stepped in to carry on

:02:23. > :02:28.producing the handmade speciality cheese saving the jobs of about half

:02:29. > :02:32.the workforce. We had always regarded enviously the products and

:02:33. > :02:37.brands that they had and we were delighted to be able to get involved

:02:38. > :02:41.and rescue the business. Over the last year the company has been

:02:42. > :02:46.winning back its customers and its cheeses have been winning awards. It

:02:47. > :02:53.is now a very different atmosphere. The loss of the factory would have

:02:54. > :03:00.been devastating. We are still making a Bee Gees, still winning

:03:01. > :03:06.awards. On a regular basis, so it is a lot more positive than 18 months

:03:07. > :03:10.ago. After a year when milk prices have been in the headlines premium

:03:11. > :03:21.products like these offer higher returns. These products behind me

:03:22. > :03:26.are more than twice the price of a powder. The aim is to grow sales and

:03:27. > :03:31.the company has won a contract with the major European supermarket. This

:03:32. > :03:34.business has become profitable once again and it is hoped the long

:03:35. > :03:35.tradition of cheesemaking here will continue.

:03:36. > :03:38.Rugby and Ulster is hoping to move up the table in this evening's

:03:39. > :03:40.Boxing Day clash against Connacht in Galway.

:03:41. > :03:41.Ulster are currently fifth in the Pro12 -

:03:42. > :03:58.These three penalty points came after a fine kick and run. The

:03:59. > :04:00.second half is just about to begin. There's been no rest over Christmas

:04:01. > :04:02.for three time Olympic rowing medal He's keeping up his training

:04:03. > :04:06.as he looks ahead to a potential fourth Olympic Games

:04:07. > :04:09.in Rio this summer. Earlier today, he took part

:04:10. > :04:12.in an annual race at his home club in Coleraine and won

:04:13. > :04:28.it for the first time. The driving factors to go and be in

:04:29. > :04:31.Rio and be part of the Olympic Games and win a medal again. I've done it

:04:32. > :04:37.in London and it is possible to do it in Rio. I am feeling good and

:04:38. > :04:39.feeling strong and I just have to get myself in that race and who

:04:40. > :04:40.knows what would happen. It's been a cold and wet Boxing Day,

:04:41. > :04:52.here's Angie with a look It has been dampened places and also

:04:53. > :04:56.chill a particularly in the West, and through the evening as patchy

:04:57. > :04:59.rain moves away, we get that cool are flooding across all parts

:05:00. > :05:03.through the course of the night, so it will be called with the

:05:04. > :05:09.temperature close to freezing in quite a few areas and maybe a couple

:05:10. > :05:14.of degrees lower end rural areas. Frost around and some mist and fog

:05:15. > :05:19.forming and one or two icy patches. A cold start to the day with some

:05:20. > :05:23.mist and fog slow to clear but for many, a bright start before rain

:05:24. > :05:28.moves then again, so the fog as I mentioned will be stubborn and

:05:29. > :05:32.places but where it goes we will get a few rays of sunshine, and it will

:05:33. > :05:36.be a merely dry and bright start across the Republic of Ireland and

:05:37. > :05:43.much of Scotland, and also across northern England and Wales where

:05:44. > :05:46.they have had that wet weather. Towards the south, private cloudy

:05:47. > :05:50.and mild at 15 Celsius. This weather front is the remnants of the heavy

:05:51. > :05:56.they may have had across parts of north-west England and Wales. It

:05:57. > :05:59.edges northward but it is a weakening feature a soul here in

:06:00. > :06:04.Northern Ireland we will see the cloud increasing and the breeze

:06:05. > :06:08.picking up and spills of a moving and, but milder conditions with the

:06:09. > :06:12.temperature around eight Celsius. Still unsettled into the new week

:06:13. > :06:17.with more wet and windy weather coming along but we watched this

:06:18. > :06:20.deepening area of low pressure swing into the north-west on Tuesday with

:06:21. > :06:25.plenty of isobars and potential for some disruption with severe gales

:06:26. > :06:26.but not just the ones. Rain will be archiving and could linger into

:06:27. > :06:28.Wednesday. BBC Newsline will be

:06:29. > :06:31.back tomorrow at 6:20. You can keep up to date with local

:06:32. > :06:34.news on BBC Radio Ulster In 2015, we laughed.

:06:35. > :06:37.THEY CACKLE We cried.

:06:38. > :06:41.You just fall in love with them. We surprised.

:06:42. > :06:44.Which one of yous was it?! Ireland's haunting beauty

:06:45. > :06:48.is legendary. We discovered.

:06:49. > :06:53.A land of spectacular contrasts.
