:03:18. > :03:25.away for my son and blow the rest, probably. Some holidays, nice

:03:26. > :03:32.things, a nice car and whatever. Just generally being generous with

:04:15. > :04:18.to buy a ticket as the draw isn't until 9.55pm here

:04:19. > :04:32.on BBC One tonight. Good evening. It looks as though we

:04:33. > :04:37.will get our first northerly blast of the winter into the start of next

:04:38. > :04:41.week. Quite a winter chill through Monday into Tuesday. Not too much

:04:42. > :04:44.wind around today, but it was a chilling day, especially about

:04:45. > :04:50.showery rain moved northwards. It was clear, but we could see a bit of

:04:51. > :04:53.rain pushing towards County Antrim tonight before pulling away. Other

:04:54. > :04:59.than that, it is a dry night for many of us with clear spells. Cold

:05:00. > :05:04.in towns, 1-2 cells is in the countryside, a degree or two below.

:05:05. > :05:09.Quite a widespread frost and ice sheet icy patches. Into tomorrow,

:05:10. > :05:13.bright today. A few showers around, but most of those will be towards

:05:14. > :05:20.the north and west. For many of us, once the mist and fog lifts, dry and

:05:21. > :05:25.bright. Across Ireland, mixture of bright spells and across England and

:05:26. > :05:29.Wales. Many showers in western areas could cause problems over northern

:05:30. > :05:34.England as they run through. Some quite heavy and wintry on the hills.

:05:35. > :05:38.Mostly towards the south and south-west, it will be milder,

:05:39. > :05:44.relatively milder, around 9-10dC. Call the further north, and it is

:05:45. > :05:47.breezy. Gail or severe gales the Northern Northwest:: more frequent

:05:48. > :05:52.showers turning to snow over the mountains. For Northern Ireland in

:05:53. > :05:55.the afternoon, we will get a breeze and I will tend to bring their

:05:56. > :05:59.showers in the north and west further inland although they will be

:06:00. > :06:03.more frequent towards the north-west. Sunny gaps in between,

:06:04. > :06:09.but feeling called in the breeze, with highs of round 4-5dC. Into next

:06:10. > :06:13.week, that is when we start to see those northerly or north-westerly

:06:14. > :06:16.winds filtering down. It will be bitterly cold in those winds and

:06:17. > :06:22.those winds will be bringing showers as well. Wintry ones and a mixture

:06:23. > :06:25.of rain, sleet and snow. Not just on hills, but on low levels. Details

:06:26. > :06:28.are difficult to pin down at this point, but they will be more

:06:29. > :06:33.frequent among parts of the north and west.

:06:34. > :06:37.From everyone on the BBC Newsline team, goodbye.
