:04:16. > :04:17.It could be halfway across the world.

:07:49. > :07:53.Howard who was acquitted of her murder in 2005. Her body was no

:07:54. > :08:00.longer -- her body was never found. Robert Howard died in prison last

:08:01. > :08:09.year. Information was recorded in a hand

:08:10. > :08:15.written note to the constable. He said it would not be fair to comment

:08:16. > :08:22.what sort of relationship that was. The court was also told of the

:08:23. > :08:28.troubled background of Arlene Arkinson. There was also a mention

:08:29. > :08:34.of her relationship with a second older man. The initial investigation

:08:35. > :08:39.followed two lines of inquiry, that Arlene Arkinson had travelled to

:08:40. > :08:43.Birmingham for an abortion or that Robert Howard was involved in her

:08:44. > :08:44.disobedience. At that stage it was not a criminal investigation. The

:08:57. > :08:58.for the game against Germany. The showdown with the world

:08:59. > :09:00.champions is Northern Ireland's And one local man is guaranteed

:09:01. > :09:05.to be on the pitch. Jonathan Calderwood from just

:09:06. > :09:08.outside Ballymena is not a player or part of the Northern Ireland back

:09:09. > :09:12.room team - but he will play a key role when it comes to match day,

:09:13. > :09:15.Nial Foster has been to meet him. Paris, it's a long way

:09:16. > :09:21.from County Antrim but one man from the area has made a name

:09:22. > :09:27.for himself in the capital. Jonathan Calderwood,

:09:28. > :09:35.star of a French television advert is the head groundsman

:09:36. > :09:37.at the Parc des Princes. When I went to the school

:09:38. > :09:52.in Ballymena, in your last year at school you had to do

:09:53. > :09:54.a week's work experience. Being a football fanatic

:09:55. > :09:56.and a big Glentoran fan, it was only right I should go

:09:57. > :09:59.to Glentoran and see if they would take me

:10:00. > :10:01.as a groundsman. From there, next up was

:10:02. > :10:05.the old Wembley Stadium in London. Then to Aston Villa where he won

:10:06. > :10:07.the Premier League Groundsman He met one of the game's

:10:08. > :10:14.most respected managers, The Frenchman recommended him

:10:15. > :10:19.to his current employers. The Premier League pitches

:10:20. > :10:23.in England are known to be the best in the world so normally if you have

:10:24. > :10:27.one of the best pitches in England you have the best pitch

:10:28. > :10:29.in the world. Gerard said straightaway,

:10:30. > :10:32.I think the best groundsman in the world is Jonathan Calderwood

:10:33. > :10:37.so with those recommendations, Jonathan's expertise and pitch

:10:38. > :10:43.management has helped craft one of the best playing surfaces

:10:44. > :10:46.in Europe and as luck would have it at Euro 2016

:10:47. > :10:49.in June Northern Ireland will play Germany in their final group game

:10:50. > :11:05.in Paris When the draw was taking place, I

:11:06. > :11:08.had been talking about it for weeks, I said it was not going to happen.

:11:09. > :11:12.When it did happen it was unbelievable.

:11:13. > :11:18.to play Germany in Paris on my pitch, it doesn't get

:11:19. > :11:23.If Northern Ireland can topple the world champions you know

:11:24. > :11:31.who to thank for the pristine playing surface.

:11:32. > :11:34.David Cameron is tonight in Brussels negotiating on EU reform,

:11:35. > :11:37.and Brexit and its possible implications for Ireland,

:11:38. > :11:47.north and south, will be discussed on Good Morning Ulster tomorrow.

:11:48. > :11:56.Here is the weather forecast. After a call today it is turning cold

:11:57. > :12:03.again into the first part of tonight. Becoming frosty, some mist

:12:04. > :12:16.and fork patches. Becoming I see in places given the wet surfaces. Later

:12:17. > :12:22.in the night the ice may start to lift. Temperatures creeping up as

:12:23. > :12:28.cloud increases. Spells of rain. That is setting the scene for

:12:29. > :12:34.tomorrow. Wetter for a time. Quite blustery in places particularly

:12:35. > :12:38.around the course. Wet and windy weather extending across the

:12:39. > :12:43.Republic of Ireland into Wales, Western England, Scotland, turning

:12:44. > :12:49.to snow over the mountains. Not reaching the south-east until later

:12:50. > :12:55.in the day. Temperatures tomorrow, that little bit higher. The rain

:12:56. > :13:03.will start to shift away in the afternoon. A drier end to the day.

:13:04. > :13:08.Despite those higher temperatures to Belize still making it feel quite

:13:09. > :13:14.cool. A weather front over the top of us at the weekend. It is likely

:13:15. > :13:18.to bring spells of rain and particularly on Saturday. After a

:13:19. > :13:24.damp start that rain clears away south on Sunday and colder weather

:13:25. > :13:27.follows. That is all for now. We are back 25

:13:28. > :13:32.six tomorrow.
