:00:00. > :00:10.Counting in the Republic's general election will run into tomorrow.

:00:11. > :00:14.There are twelve seats still to be allocated.

:00:15. > :00:17.With no party getting an overall majority the state of play

:00:18. > :00:24.Fianna Fail with forty-two seats, Labour six, Fine Gael forty-six,

:00:25. > :00:29.Sinn Fein twenty-two seats - independents and others have thirty.

:00:30. > :00:31.This report from our Dublin Correspondent Shane Harrison

:00:32. > :00:45.Who will be in government is the question of the moment and the

:00:46. > :00:50.answer is like a victorious politician, a bit up in the air. On

:00:51. > :00:55.air and off air today, Sinn Fein were adamant they were not going

:00:56. > :01:01.into government with either Fianna Fail or Fine Gael. We are clear, we

:01:02. > :01:03.are not going to go in and betray our old electorate or people who

:01:04. > :01:10.need a progressive government. We are not going to prop up a

:01:11. > :01:16.regressive negative old Conservative government. With the result showing

:01:17. > :01:21.a fractured political landscape, the Taoiseach is keeping his options

:01:22. > :01:26.open and pointedly not ruling out an arrangement with Fianna Fail. As

:01:27. > :01:28.Taoiseach I have a duty and responsibility in continuing with

:01:29. > :01:34.this role to see how best we might be able to put together a government

:01:35. > :01:38.for the future, because clearly the country needs a government and must

:01:39. > :01:41.have one. This afternoon a victorious Fianna Fail TD said it

:01:42. > :01:45.was too soon for the two main parties to come to an arrangement.

:01:46. > :01:48.Obviously the media are very interested as to whether and opera

:01:49. > :01:56.will be a Fine Gael or Fianna Fail Coalition and I think it is too

:01:57. > :01:59.early be talking about that and we should put forward Micheal Martin as

:02:00. > :02:03.Taoiseach and get support from other Dail deputies. It has been a good

:02:04. > :02:04.election for independence among them these brothers, both elected in

:02:05. > :02:06.Kerry. And Good Morning Ulster will be

:02:07. > :02:08.hearing from the major parties in the Republic tomorrow

:02:09. > :02:11.as the final votes are counted. That's from 6.30am

:02:12. > :02:16.on BBC Radio Ulster. The Belfast boxer Carl Frampton has

:02:17. > :02:19.been celebrating after his win on points over Scott Quigg

:02:20. > :02:21.in their super-bantamweight unification fight in

:02:22. > :02:22.Manchester last night. He was given a rousing reception

:02:23. > :02:25.when he arrived back in Belfast tonight...but earlier our reporter

:02:26. > :02:43.Thomas Kane caught up with him. Sitting back and savouring the

:02:44. > :02:48.moment with those closest to him. I do not remember a thing about the

:02:49. > :02:52.fight, I remember the atmosphere, unbelievable, it sounded like

:02:53. > :02:58.Belfast, it was crazy, 20,000 people going ballistic. I respect them even

:02:59. > :03:03.more than before the fight. Sherry the ring with a man for 12 rounds,

:03:04. > :03:08.you will respect and I have respect for him. What is next? There are

:03:09. > :03:14.lots of options, my dream is to fight at Windsor Park and defend the

:03:15. > :03:18.world title. Many of the Euro 2016 heroes were ringside. It will live

:03:19. > :03:23.with me for the rest of my life. He has supported us, it is about time

:03:24. > :03:28.we supported him. What a performance. While in the other

:03:29. > :03:37.dressing room, Wayne Rooney consoled Scott Quigg. Would you like another

:03:38. > :03:45.go? It was the uppercut, I am talking to you now and I cannot hear

:03:46. > :03:47.right. Two belts, his unbeaten record intact, is there any stopping

:03:48. > :03:49.Carl Frampton? In rugby, Cardiff scored two late

:03:50. > :03:52.tries to snatch a 23-13 victory over Ulster at the Arms

:03:53. > :03:55.Park this afternoon. Paddy Jackson and Rhys Patchell

:03:56. > :03:58.traded penalties in an error-filled first half before a 45th-minute try

:03:59. > :04:01.from Craig Gilroy gave the away side However, Cardiff fought back

:04:02. > :04:07.through a further Patchell penalty before two quick-fire tries

:04:08. > :04:10.from Patchell and Aled Summerhill Despite a second successive defeat

:04:11. > :04:17.against Welsh opposition - Ulster stay fourth

:04:18. > :04:22.in the Pro12 table. In Gaelic football's National League

:04:23. > :04:24.there were wins for Donegal, Tributes have been paid to the Irish

:04:25. > :04:31.actor Frank Kelly who's A veteran of stage and screen,

:04:32. > :04:36.he was best known for playing the foul-mouthed priest

:04:37. > :04:37.Father Jack Hackett in the Channel Four

:04:38. > :04:41.sitcom, Father Ted. It ran for three series

:04:42. > :04:43.in the mid-nineties Now with the weather,

:04:44. > :04:58.here's Angie Phillips. Good evening. After a dry start with

:04:59. > :05:02.patchy frost temperatures will be rising with increasing amounts of

:05:03. > :05:08.cloud and an increasing breeze. Rain will move into the West later and

:05:09. > :05:12.could be wintry on the hills. That sets the scene for the start of the

:05:13. > :05:16.new week, spells of rain and quite windy. That rain spreading across

:05:17. > :05:20.all pastor in the course of the morning rush hour but not

:05:21. > :05:23.particularly heavy. That wet and windy weather extends across the

:05:24. > :05:27.Republic of Ireland into Scotland, some snow on the Scottish mountains,

:05:28. > :05:32.mainly dry and bright for much of England and Wales but it will cloud

:05:33. > :05:38.over in western fringes. Still chilly around seven or 8 degrees.

:05:39. > :05:41.For Northern Ireland come and windy for much of the day and after a

:05:42. > :05:46.brief lull we get heavier pulses of rain moving on from the West and

:05:47. > :05:51.that will give us a wet evening, but Ann Meyers night. A different look

:05:52. > :05:57.to things this week, low pressure, weather fronts, plenty of isobars on

:05:58. > :06:00.the charts so often windy. That wet and windy weather tomorrow extends

:06:01. > :06:05.across England and Wales into Tuesday, in behind, still a good

:06:06. > :06:08.deal of cloud after a mild start, temperatures will start to fall away

:06:09. > :06:12.and there is showery rain. By the time we get too wet and state,

:06:13. > :06:16.cooler north-westerly is flooding across the country bringing showers

:06:17. > :06:21.and they will be wintry even to low levels particularly across parts of

:06:22. > :06:25.the North and west. Overall, a much more unsettled outlook for the week

:06:26. > :06:26.ahead. Our next BBC Newsline bulletin
