:00:00. > :00:08.Good evening and welcome to BBC Newsline.

:00:09. > :00:13.A pipe bomb has exploded in Armagh, damaging a number of vehicles

:00:14. > :00:16.Police received reports of an explosion at Cathedral Road

:00:17. > :00:21.in the early hours of this morning, and a number of homes

:00:22. > :00:27.were evacuated. Sara Girvin reports.

:00:28. > :00:34.It was after midnight when a loud bang woke residents from their beds.

:00:35. > :00:39.It was an awful bang, it woke me out of my sleep. So it did. I couldn't

:00:40. > :00:42.sleep all night to be honest. There was a lot of police about, so I

:00:43. > :00:45.didn't know what was happening until this morning. One young man was

:00:46. > :00:50.driving home from a night out when the explosion occurred just yards

:00:51. > :00:54.from his car. I heard the bang and looked in the mirror and there was a

:00:55. > :00:59.bit of a... It wasn't a fire, it was like a light. I shot of light that

:01:00. > :01:04.came up around us like. There are were two of our friends in the car,

:01:05. > :01:11.and it may put me off from the driving, like. There was a Big Bang.

:01:12. > :01:17.It was centred at a cost ales business behind me. It is understood

:01:18. > :01:20.the car sales business had had cars damaged in the past week. Police say

:01:21. > :01:24.the pipe bomb was placed at the dealership by someone carrying a

:01:25. > :01:29.backpack at around 12:30am. Before it exploded, ten minutes later. Four

:01:30. > :01:33.cars were damaged. As Army bomb experts and police carried out

:01:34. > :01:37.investigations, disruption continued in the area. Those attending Sunday

:01:38. > :01:41.morning Mass and church services found themselves stuck in unexpected

:01:42. > :01:46.traffic some local businesses also had to close. But police say it's

:01:47. > :01:52.lucky that no one was seriously injured. They have described those

:01:53. > :01:57.behind the device as reckless. All roads have now reopened, and

:01:58. > :01:58.evacuated residents have been returned to their homes.

:01:59. > :02:01.The First Minister Arlene Foster says she hopes US firms will invest

:02:02. > :02:03.in Northern Ireland, despite calls from both frontrunners

:02:04. > :02:05.in the American presidential race to put America first for jobs.

:02:06. > :02:10.Mrs Foster and the Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness

:02:11. > :02:14.are in the United States as part of the St Patrick's Day celebrations.

:02:15. > :02:17.The First Minister told BBC Radio Ulster's Inside Business

:02:18. > :02:27.programme that a lower corporation tax here was a major advantage.

:02:28. > :02:33.When Obama came into office that was a big element of what he wanted to

:02:34. > :02:36.do to bring jobs back to America. We think we have a very strong

:02:37. > :02:41.proposition, we always have had a strong proposition, but we have an

:02:42. > :02:43.extra tool now, an extra tool in our toolkit, and we will be talking to

:02:44. > :02:47.those companies that are perhaps in the past felt we didn't have a tax

:02:48. > :02:49.offering that we have now, and that opens doors for us.

:02:50. > :02:59.A 17-year-old boy has been charged with possession of a flare

:03:00. > :03:03.A young toddler has been hit by a car by Torbett late. His injuries

:03:04. > :03:05.are not life-threatening. In GAA, Tyrone have secured

:03:06. > :03:07.promotion from Football League Division Two by beating Meath

:03:08. > :03:10.1-17 to 1-11 at Navan. Derry scored five goals

:03:11. > :03:11.against Laois at Portlaoise, The match between Armagh and Galway

:03:12. > :03:16.also ended even, one goal And Antrim beat Waterford

:03:17. > :03:23.in Division Four. Now with Northern Ireland's Euro

:03:24. > :03:28.2016 opener in France just twelve weeks away, here's Mark Simpson

:03:29. > :03:32.with a look ahead to some special I have been taking a closer look

:03:33. > :03:39.at the cities where Northern Ireland are going to play during

:03:40. > :03:41.the Euros this summer. And finally to Nice in the south

:03:42. > :03:51.of France, where Northern Ireland play their first match

:03:52. > :03:54.in just three months' time. What will it be like

:03:55. > :03:56.for the fans A look at the weather

:03:57. > 3:55:38for the week ahead now, Hello. Good evening. We had a pretty

3:55:39 > 3:55:38fine day today, not huge amount of sunshine, but it did brighten up in

3:55:39 > 3:55:38places and we had temperatures into the low teens. Over the next few

3:55:39 > 3:55:38days we will still see a lot of dry weather, a variable amount of cloud.

3:55:39 > 3:55:38Meaning there should be some sunshine around, but of course clear

3:55:39 > 3:55:38spells at night-time mean it will be a bit chilly. As there will be in

3:55:39 > 3:55:38places last night, not as mild as last night. Les Bell developed, so

3:55:39 > 3:55:38don't just drop back to four or 5 degrees, but some rural spots could

3:55:39 > 3:55:38get down to one or two Celsius, and that could give them patchy fog and

3:55:39 > 3:55:38mist and frog. Frost. Tomorrow should be dried, with some sunshine,

3:55:39 > 3:55:38although the fog should lift into clouds before the sun wakes during

3:55:39 > 3:55:38the morning. Dry everywhere through the day generally speaking, sunshine

3:55:39 > 3:55:38around as well, I bit more cloud around the south-west, bitter breeze

3:55:39 > 3:55:38here as well, and we also get some low clouds just lifting in over the

3:55:39 > 3:55:38north sea into the east coast of England, pushing that further

3:55:39 > 3:55:38inland. Feeling cool in these areas but present in the sunshine further

3:55:39 > 3:55:38west. Through the afternoon, a fair amount of sunshine, lots of blue

3:55:39 > 3:55:38sky, temperatures not quite as high, as they were today, but that

3:55:39 > 3:55:38sunshine with just a light south-easterly breeze means just ten

3:55:39 > 3:55:38or 11 degrees will be feeling very present in the west. High pressure

3:55:39 > 3:55:38is in charge for the rest of the week, a flow coming east from

3:55:39 > 3:55:38south-east. Eastern Scotland and eastern England could continue to

3:55:39 > 3:55:38get some low cloud, some sea fog may be drifting in at times, and it will

3:55:39 > 3:55:38feel quite cool. So the best of the sunshine for Tuesday, likely to be

3:55:39 > 3:55:38towards the west and the north-west, and this is where we will see the

3:55:39 > 3:55:38best of the temperatures as well, as indeed we will do on Wednesday. Best

3:55:39 > 3:55:38sunshine here again, against a low cloud and see fog was the north sea

3:55:39 > 3:55:38coast. That Kildare creates just a little bit further inland.

3:55:39 > 3:55:38Essentially it is a fine and dry week coming up, and hopefully there

3:55:39 > 3:55:38will be more sunshine around. Our next BBC Newsline bulletin
