:00:47. > :00:50.with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
:00:51. > :00:53.An eye witness described seeing a bloody confrontation between men
:00:54. > :01:14.The bats came out and they were out on the road and they were swinging.
:01:15. > :01:20.There was hammers as well. They were just beating each other about the
:01:21. > :01:28.road and they had each other down on the ground and all you could see was
:01:29. > :01:30.blood everywhere. I felt quite sick seeing it. It wasn't nice. It was
:01:31. > :01:32.terrifying to see. It's not clear what provoked
:01:33. > :01:34.the incident. Tonight police have retrieved a car
:01:35. > :01:36.from the scene and appealed A key witness in the Arlene Arkinson
:01:37. > :01:43.inquest has admitted lying Patricia Quinn was in a relationship
:01:44. > :01:50.with the murder suspect Robert Howard at the time
:01:51. > :01:54.and gave him an alibi for the night "Do you know what the truth is?"

:02:52. > :02:53.realised he was dangerous after he locked her up for two days,
:02:54. > :02:56.a year after Arlene disappeared. She claims he kept the keys down
:02:57. > :02:59.the front of his trousers but she managed to escape
:03:00. > :03:01.after slipping sleeping pills She also claimed not to remember
:03:02. > :03:05.another teenager coming to her in the middle of the night before she
:03:06. > :03:08.disappeared saying she had been Lawyers for the Arkinson family

:03:18. > :03:20.the Coroner's Court, "I'm not arguing with you no more,
:03:21. > :03:23.for I'm just fed up with it." It is up to the Coroner to decide

:04:29. > :04:30.of meetings between the Board of Governors, the Council
:04:31. > :04:36.for Catholic Maintained Schools and the teaching unions
:04:37. > :04:38.to address a range of issues. A Strategy Group was set up
:04:39. > :04:41.to oversee a "formal renewal" The plan that group drew up included
:04:42. > :04:45.a range of actions including. A review of the school's pastoral
:04:46. > :04:48.care including "safeguarding/pupil discipline procedures." A review
:04:49. > :04:49.of staff welfare policy. Mechanisms "for raising
:04:50. > :04:53.and resolving staff concerns The plan also said that
:04:54. > :05:00."there should be no ultimatums, threats or vetos" as part
:05:01. > :05:03.of the process, and that there should be no communication
:05:04. > :05:06.with the media. But I understand that there have
:05:07. > :05:09.been delays in the implementation And that's in part responsible
:05:10. > :05:14.for the high levels of staff absence in the school,
:05:15. > :05:17.including a number of senior staff. I understand part of the school has
:05:18. > :05:21.also had to be closed to pupils today, due to health
:05:22. > :05:23.and safety concerns. Some parents are worried that
:05:24. > :05:26.pupils' preparation for some GCSE The INTO union, which represents
:05:27. > :05:37.the majority of teachers, say they are now considering further
:05:38. > :05:39.targeted industrial In a statement, the school principal
:05:40. > :05:44.Claire White said they were actively managing the situation
:05:45. > :05:45.and would work closely with the relevant bodies,
:05:46. > :05:47.including the trade unions, The police are appealing for help
