:03:34. > :03:38.are a group of people who just love the fun and having a great time. We

:03:39. > :03:47.are celebrating our nationhood, being Irish, being different. So why

:03:48. > :03:51.not. Many people from north of the border travelled south for the

:03:52. > :03:56.event. It was emotional, I listen to the radio on the way down this

:03:57. > :04:01.morning, Irish music but when you get here, it is special. We have

:04:02. > :04:04.been waiting a long time for this. I'm really glad to be here and be

:04:05. > :04:10.part of it. It is a fabulous weekend. We have been down since

:04:11. > :04:13.Friday and had a ball since we came. And enjoyed the celebrations

:04:14. > :04:18.yesterday, amazing. Today is even better because it is more relaxed.

:04:19. > :04:22.In different parts of the city, different events all largely

:04:23. > :04:30.organised by the Irish national broadcaster RTL. A giant street

:04:31. > :04:34.party took place. And a display of vintage trains and cars. It also

:04:35. > :04:38.attracted big and appreciative crowds. A family fun day out that

:04:39. > :04:43.was inclusive and struck the right note.

:04:44. > :04:46.The Northern Ireland football team made history tonight as they went

:04:47. > :04:50.ten games unbeaten for the first time.

:04:51. > :04:52.They defeated Slovenia one-nil tonight in a friendly at Windsor

:04:53. > :05:05.A first home International of 2016 for Northern Ireland and the might

:05:06. > :05:09.of history in south Belfast. Northern Ireland now ten games

:05:10. > :05:17.unbeaten. Michael O'Neil as manager eclipses the run of leaving and it

:05:18. > :05:19.came down to, Washington. He had a dream home International debut.

:05:20. > :05:24.Scoring the only goal on the night and showing a lot of strength to do

:05:25. > :05:29.so. That gold would prove the difference but also Northern Ireland

:05:30. > :05:32.have their goalkeeper Roy Carroll to thank. Jonny Evans was blown for

:05:33. > :05:39.filing through the second half, penalty awarded. Roy Carroll

:05:40. > :05:42.produced a world-class save. And Northern Ireland manager Michael

:05:43. > :05:46.O'Neil is of a watched Germany tomorrow. Right now the feeling here

:05:47. > :05:50.is that anything is possible for Northern Ireland. They might just

:05:51. > :05:54.unpick the world champions in the Euros. That is 11 weeks away.

:05:55. > :05:58.The weather forecast is next with Barra Best.

:05:59. > :06:07.It is telling A to B another chilly night. Temperatures likely to fall

:06:08. > :06:11.close to freezing, even below in some spots allowing for some frost

:06:12. > :06:16.first thing tomorrow morning. Otherwise Tuesday is a cloudy day, a

:06:17. > :06:21.few showers later on in the day. To begin with we expect a largely dry

:06:22. > :06:25.start. Quite grey however. Some coastal areas may get some sunshine

:06:26. > :06:30.first thing but the crowd remained stubborn to break up at first.

:06:31. > :06:33.Across the UK and Ireland, not a bad start with some showers and decent

:06:34. > :06:39.amounts of sunshine as well. Through the day will weather system ringing

:06:40. > :06:42.rain across the south coast of Ireland, and into Wales, the

:06:43. > :06:46.south-west of England. That moves east through the course of the day.

:06:47. > :06:50.Ahead of that sunshine allowing temperatures to get up to around 13

:06:51. > :06:54.degrees towards the south-east. North and extend scattered showers

:06:55. > :06:58.and sunshine put up a similar picture across Ireland through the

:06:59. > :07:03.afternoon. So a few showers out there to dodge and also the odd

:07:04. > :07:07.sunny spell. The wind light and at best around eight 9 degrees. In any

:07:08. > :07:13.areas away from the wind with more sunshine, we could see 10 degrees.

:07:14. > :07:17.Another chilly night overnight into Wednesday, shaping up to be dry to

:07:18. > :07:21.begin with both up through the day the cloud thickens and we expect

:07:22. > :07:24.some wet weather. Thursday shaping up to be the best day of the week

:07:25. > :07:27.with some sunshine. By Friday Moray Low pressure bringing stronger wind

:07:28. > :07:28.and more rain. Our next BBC Newsline

:07:29. > :07:31.is at 6.25 in the morning Maybe you could show me

:07:32. > :07:47.the club scene up here.
