:00:56. > :01:12.With a bang and a flash of light, powered at for a number of seconds

:01:13. > :01:17.at around 1115. There were emergency engineers on-site to check out from

:01:18. > :01:20.a safety perspective. Equipment failures at a substation could cause

:01:21. > :01:25.a bang and a flash, which we believe is what people saw last night. There

:01:26. > :01:30.was nothing sinister involved. It was a piece of equipment which

:01:31. > :01:34.failed in one of her substations and that would have caused a flash and

:01:35. > :01:38.could also have caused the dip in power that we have seen. Although

:01:39. > :01:42.the fold originated in West Belfast, it was heard on the motocross the

:01:43. > :01:46.city, sparking questions in homes and social area about what caused

:01:47. > :01:52.it. I was in the house and just heard enough of buying and thought

:01:53. > :01:56.it was like an explosion! Did you see any lights? I saw blue flashing

:01:57. > :02:00.lights. I didn't know what to expect, if it was police or

:02:01. > :02:05.ambulance coming, but it stay that long and was flashing that fast. I

:02:06. > :02:09.heard a bang and a flash and my bedroom underwent white and blue and

:02:10. > :02:19.different colours. What you do think it was? A meteor! I was watching

:02:20. > :02:25.television, it just dipped off, the lights dimmed. And it went off and

:02:26. > :02:28.within seconds, they came back on again. Investigations will continue

:02:29. > :02:29.over the coming days to find out what exactly caused the equipment

:02:30. > :02:32.fault. A 16-year-old boy has been arrested

:02:41. > :02:49.and Lurgan Celtic. A 25-year-old man from Strabane,

:02:50. > :02:52.who was being questioned by police about violent dissident

:02:53. > :02:53.republican activity, He was arrested in

:02:54. > :03:00.the town yesterday. A 38-year-old man's being

:03:01. > :03:02.questioned by the police following the discovery of a large

:03:03. > :03:04.amount of a material used for mixing

:03:05. > :03:06.with illegal drugs. It was intercepted en route

:03:07. > :03:08.to an address in Ballymena in a joint operation

:03:09. > :03:20.with the National Crime Agency. during a search of

:03:21. > :03:24.a house in the town. It's understood that

:03:25. > :03:26.Belfast City Airport could be sold. It may change ownership as part

:03:27. > :03:29.of a wider deal being negotiated by the international investment fund

:03:30. > :03:31.which currently owns it. It's believed Eyeser Global

:03:32. > :03:32.Infrastructure Fund is on the verge of agreeing

:03:33. > :03:35.a ?500 million pound deal with another investment

:03:36. > :03:40.fund over the next few weeks. Sport, and Welshman Chaz Davies has

:04:38. > :04:44.Newsline, here on BBC One. Let's get a look at the weather

:04:45. > :04:46.forecast now for the rest of the weekend,

:04:47. > :04:56.and here's Angie. Good evening. After a dry start to

:04:57. > :04:59.the weekend, things have been deteriorating throughout the day

:05:00. > :05:05.with spells of rain moving from the sites. That is setting us up for

:05:06. > :05:09.quite a wait evening. Fairly persistent, locally heavy, bursts of

:05:10. > :05:13.rain. It will dry up a bed across eastern counties during the course

:05:14. > :05:18.of the night. Further west, likely to stay quite wet. At least it is a

:05:19. > :05:22.frost-free night, with temperatures no lower than 5 degrees. Enter

:05:23. > :05:25.tomorrow, not a great day. Cloudy with spells of rain, edging their

:05:26. > :05:29.way back north eastwards through the morning. Once again, a few

:05:30. > :05:33.persistent bursts of rain and it is also quite wet across the Republic

:05:34. > :05:37.of Ireland, much of Scotland. Quite damp at times across the South West

:05:38. > :05:43.of England and Wales, up into the north-west of England. Dry, bright,

:05:44. > :05:46.spells of sunshine, pretty warm, temperatures up to possibly 18

:05:47. > :05:50.degrees. Closer to home, temperatures beneath the cloud and

:05:51. > :05:53.rain are closer to average for a time of year to stop still some

:05:54. > :05:57.showering when around in the afternoon but it will be becoming

:05:58. > :06:00.more patchy. The odd bright interval but more cloud than sunshine and

:06:01. > :06:06.quite a damp day overall. Temperatures are little bit better,

:06:07. > :06:09.up into double figures. The area of low pressure which is bringing the

:06:10. > :06:13.rain swings away and then we are into a showery regime for Monday and

:06:14. > :06:17.Tuesday. On Tuesday night, a weather front moves to. In behind that, the

:06:18. > :06:22.isobars tighten, stronger winds and colder. Plenty of showers on

:06:23. > :06:24.Wednesday, some hailstones and possibly one tree on the hills.
