:04:08. > :04:11.here on BBC 1. Now with your weather forecast

:04:12. > :04:21.for the week ahead here's Angie. Good evening. The unsettled weather

:04:22. > :04:25.conditions are spilling into the new week. Rain followed by showers and

:04:26. > :04:28.through the middle part of the week it'll become windy and the strong

:04:29. > :04:33.winds will be accompanied by colder air so. We could well find

:04:34. > :04:36.wintriness on the hilltops but showers of rain scattered around

:04:37. > :04:40.this evening. Dry gaps in between where it is likely to become misty

:04:41. > :04:44.and murky. A lot of low cloud and hill fog. Later in the night more

:04:45. > :04:49.persistent rain from the south-east but at least it is a mild frost-free

:04:50. > :04:55.night. No lower than six or seven. That takes us into the new week. We

:04:56. > :04:59.start it on an overcast note and pretty wet. Bear that if you are out

:05:00. > :05:04.and about on the roads. There will be a lot of surface water and spray

:05:05. > :05:07.and reduced visibility. That persistent rain works inland as we

:05:08. > :05:12.go through the coast of the morning. Heavy bursts likely. It is quite a

:05:13. > :05:16.were longed band of rain which extends across Scotland and into

:05:17. > :05:20.Ireland. We also have Hovy and potentially under thisry downpours

:05:21. > :05:24.moving in across south-west England towards Wales and the Midlands. Away

:05:25. > :05:25.from that, we have dry and bright weather. Temperatures fairly

:05:26. > :05:30.reasonable. weather. Temperatures fairly

:05:31. > :05:33.sunshine, not as warm as in the south-east. Coming back to Northern

:05:34. > :05:37.Ireland for the afternoon and wet weather still with us. We will see

:05:38. > :05:42.the highest rainfall total across parts of the east. Bear that in

:05:43. > :05:45.mind. There could be surface water flooding.

:05:46. > :05:49.This rain is associated with an area of low pressure T does move away on

:05:50. > :05:54.Tuesday. Another weather front moves through on Tuesday night to bring

:05:55. > :05:58.spells of rain. In behind that, those isobars tighten up, indicative

:05:59. > :06:03.of the strong winds and we are likely to get colder air moving in.

:06:04. > :06:06.These things are quieter on Tuesday. Yes a few showers scattered around

:06:07. > :06:10.but good dry and bright spells. That band of rain moves through on

:06:11. > :06:13.Tuesday night T could linger in the north of Scotland into the

:06:14. > :06:16.south-east. In behind that, we get heavy showers with the risk of hail

:06:17. > :06:20.and thunder. Wintriness on the hills. Still a few showers and still

:06:21. > :06:31.quite windy on Thursday. their longships wreaked havoc

:06:32. > :06:35.across the north Atlantic. But how far
