:06:20. > :06:21.more than two sides Monday's suspended jail sentence
:06:22. > :06:26.of a young mother highlighted how it remains one of the most emotive,
:06:27. > :06:30.complicated and legally challenging It also triggered a massive debate
:06:31. > :06:35.about taking abortion This woman did just that -
:06:36. > :06:40.she took the tablets I have never felt anything
:06:41. > :06:47.as painful and being on my own, when you in that

:06:52. > :06:53.or have some sort of medical
:06:54. > :06:56.professional with you. So I felt I was making calls
:06:57. > :07:00.I wasn't equipped to. This week has seen separate
:07:01. > :07:02.abortion pill cases brought While that's a first,
:07:03. > :07:08.they probably won't be the last, as according to some lawyers more
:07:09. > :07:11.women are being vocal Their actions have caused alarm
:07:12. > :07:15.among both lawyers This type of medication
:07:16. > :07:22.is not a simple treatment. Where it is prescribed,
:07:23. > :07:24.there are quite strict People should be under

:07:32. > :07:35.infection, there could be bleeding, there can be interactions with other
:07:36. > :07:41.medications, allergic reactions. This week, Northern Ireland's
:07:42. > :07:44.abortion debate took a massive leap from discussing allowing abortion
:07:45. > :07:48.in very limited circumstances The conversation has opened up now
:07:49. > :07:57.to talking about changing the law with respect to these
:07:58. > :07:59.abortion pills. If we did that we would effectively
:08:00. > :08:05.be liberalising the law a great deal and we would
:08:06. > :08:07.effectively be bringing in abortion on demand and that would
:08:08. > :08:09.cause us great concern. Late this afternoon in Belfast,
:08:10. > :08:19.hundreds of pro-choice Clearly this issue is a long way of
:08:20. > :08:32.being resolved. The former Labour Home Secretary
:08:33. > :08:34.Alan Johnson has met members of the Labour Party here and says
:08:35. > :08:37.he supports their campaign to field Mr Johnson, who's leading Labour's

:08:47. > :08:55.the referendum in June I led the charge in the CW for
:08:56. > :08:59.Labour Party members to be recognised here, but the issue about
:09:00. > :09:03.whether we stand candidates is something for after June the 23rd.
:09:04. > :09:07.We have got all of our focus on winning that referendum. You won't
:09:08. > :09:14.peseta Sammy, though? He hasn't even persuaded a lot of his own members.
:09:15. > :09:24.One of the reasons behind the reticence for going out
:09:25. > :09:25.campaigning... We have got 232... Devastated his own constituency,
:09:26. > :09:27.what devastated that? EU membership. And you can see the View straight
:09:28. > :09:29.after this bulletin. Dublin Airport is to go-ahead
:09:30. > :09:32.with plans to build a second runway in a project costing
:09:33. > :09:36.around ?260 million. just under a mile north
:09:37. > :09:40.of the existing main runway. It is expected to be
:09:41. > :09:41.operational in 2020. The airport's chief executive
:09:42. > :09:52.says it's good news Tourism in Ireland is marketed and
:09:53. > :09:57.driven on an all Ireland basis and is doing tremendously well. I think
:09:58. > :09:59.Dublin growing its frequency and roots in continental Europe is
:10:00. > :10:03.really important to that, to bring more people in here to go right
:10:04. > :10:06.across The Island, particularly with the good, strong road
:10:07. > :10:08.infrastructure, it is only an hour from here to the centre of Belfast.
:10:09. > :10:10.Despite a shaky start to the Masters golf tournament in Augusta,
:10:11. > :10:13.Rory McIlroy is currently 1 under par after 11 holes
:10:14. > :10:15.of his opening round - five shots off the lead.
:10:16. > :10:17.And it's another Irish golfer who has been making
:10:18. > :10:24.the biggest impact so far as Stephen Watson reports.
:10:25. > :10:30.Shane Lowry might be playing in just his only second Masters, but he is
:10:31. > :10:39.showing the composure and touch panel customer trend. The Offaly man
:10:40. > :10:43.produced some sensational golf to rocket up the leaderboard and find
:10:44. > :10:48.himself just one shot behind the leader, reigning champion American
:10:49. > :10:54.Jordan Spieth. Rory McIlory looked relaxed as he teed off in the final
:10:55. > :10:59.group in windy conditions. But his frustrating start to the season
:11:00. > :11:05.continued. And he certainly wasn't at his best over the opening holes.
:11:06. > :11:09.He dropped a shot here at the par-4 third, but managed to hold his game
:11:10. > :11:13.together and bounced back with fine birdies at the 7th and ninth holes
:11:14. > :11:19.to stay well in touch with the leaders. Despite some excellent
:11:20. > :11:25.shots like this, Darren Clarke was struggling to find his rhythm and is
:11:26. > :11:31.well off the pace. Houses Graeme McDowell. The famously fast Augusta
:11:32. > :11:39.greens were giving the Portrush man all sorts of trouble, especially
:11:40. > :11:43.here at the 5th hole. So problems for one half of the Irish
:11:44. > :11:45.contingent, but Lowry and McIlroy are well placed at this stage to
:11:46. > :11:54.make a Masters challenge. And Darren Clarke has finished
:11:55. > :11:59.4-over par, ten shots behind. Graeme McDowell is level par with boreholes
:12:00. > :12:03.left. Let's get the weather now. Good evening. That has been a much
:12:04. > :12:07.better day of weather, dry and brighter this evening and a lot
:12:08. > :12:10.calmer overnight and those more calm conditions mean temperatures through
:12:11. > :12:14.the first top of the night drop away quite sharply under the clearing
:12:15. > :12:17.skies, but they will recover a little bit towards dawn tomorrow
:12:18. > :12:21.morning and that is because while we start our reasonably bright note
:12:22. > :12:26.tomorrow, it won't take long for the rain to arrive. So the skies in the
:12:27. > :12:31.west will begin to cloud over as battlefront approaches from the
:12:32. > :12:36.Atlantic, it pushes slowly east as we go through the day, bringing rain
:12:37. > :12:40.to all parts -- as that front. Britain and Ireland having two very
:12:41. > :12:43.different days. Quite a reasonable day over the water, dry and bright
:12:44. > :12:47.in places, a few showers around and decent temperatures in the
:12:48. > :12:51.south-east. For us, a very different day. It is going to be cool, it is
:12:52. > :12:55.going to be wet and a bit miserable under all that rain through the
:12:56. > :12:59.afternoon. The rain will gradually clear out to the eased so we get
:13:00. > :13:02.some evening brightness in the west in particular and that is a hint of
:13:03. > :13:06.better things to come as we head into the weekend. It is going to be
:13:07. > :13:11.another day of sunshine and showers but it is going to be cold, we are
:13:12. > :13:18.into a cooler air mass so never feeling terribly warm. It will be a
:13:19. > :13:21.cake if you are in the sunshine but any other showers could be of a
:13:22. > :13:24.reasonably wintry nature, so some hail is possible and maybe some snow
:13:25. > :13:27.of the highest of hills but it is an improving picture, getting a little
:13:28. > :13:31.bit warmer as we head into the second half of this weekend.
:13:32. > :13:34.We are approaching one of the biggest decisions
