:02:23. > :02:29.Mary O'Brien was just two years old when she lost both legs

:02:30. > :02:35.Aged four she was the first double amputee in Northern Ireland to be

:02:36. > :02:40.Since then she has had what she describes as an exceptional

:02:41. > :02:46.life, and she wants other amputees to have the same.

:02:47. > :02:57.I think people can lead a very normal life after they have lost

:02:58. > :02:59.a limb, and this is so important, because I've

:03:00. > :03:02.it is the end of the world if you lose a limb,

:03:03. > :03:07.Now 76, the former occupational therapist says young amputees need

:03:08. > :03:09.encouragement to do whatever they want in life.

:03:10. > :03:13.I climbed trees, I rode a bike and did what everybody

:03:14. > :03:26.And I was certainly not mollycoddled. And I think that is

:03:27. > :03:28.the means of letting a child do what they want to do, don't hold them

:03:29. > :03:29.back. Went to the bands, danced,

:03:30. > :03:33.whatever I wanted to do. After 72 years with her prosthetic

:03:34. > :03:36.legs, Mary O'Brien hopes her life story will serve as an inspiration

:03:37. > :03:45.to the next generation. And now a look ahead

:05:18. > :05:23.too far away. It is drier but also called, and an area of high pressure

:05:24. > :05:25.of Scotland. A battle between high pressure and low pressure this week.

:05:26. > :05:31.The rain moves away tomorrow afternoon. The sun comes out and

:05:32. > :05:34.temperatures rise. It will feel milder tomorrow, particularly where

:05:35. > :05:38.there is sheltered from the easterly breeze. Tuesday that same weather

:05:39. > :05:42.front comes back. Slow moving across central areas of Britain and

:05:43. > :05:47.Northern Ireland as part of the Republic. That means that will be

:05:48. > :05:51.our wettest day of the week. To the north over Scotland, drier but also

:05:52. > :05:54.cooler. To the south, showers around, and temperatures in the mid

:05:55. > :06:01.teens with someone. This cooler, drier air will gradually comes to

:06:02. > :06:05.the through Wednesday. Rain breaking up into shower. On Thursday most

:06:06. > :06:08.places will be dry as the last of those showers edged away. There will

:06:09. > :06:12.also be a drop in temperature back into single figures across many

:06:13. > :06:16.northern and central areas of Britain as well as the Republic of

:06:17. > :06:21.our land and Northern Ireland. In summary this week is mild initially,

:06:22. > :06:24.but unsettled and rain at times. Tuesday looks to be the worst day of

:06:25. > :06:31.the week. Drying up on Wednesday but a drop on temperature and possibly
