:00:07. > :00:12.A 33 year old man has died after being shot in the legs

:00:13. > :00:15.Michael McGibbon was married with young children.

:00:16. > :00:18.The Police Ombudsman has been informed, as the victim had

:00:19. > :00:21.contacted the PSNI the day before, to say masked men had turned up

:00:22. > :00:38.This is the alleyway in Ardoyne where Michael McGibbon was shot in

:00:39. > :00:43.the legs last night. His wife tried to save him but he later died from

:00:44. > :00:47.his injuries at the Royal Victoria Hospital. I spoke to his wife who is

:00:48. > :00:51.very distressed and does not understand it, she is a nurse. When

:00:52. > :00:55.she heard the shooting she went up to defend her husband and worked

:00:56. > :00:59.with him for nearly half an hour to try and save his life. He died at

:01:00. > :01:11.four o'clock this morning that he may have died earlier if she had not

:01:12. > :01:14.moved earlier. The attack came a day after two vast men tried to force

:01:15. > :01:16.him to leave his home on the nearby Crumlin road. He refused and later

:01:17. > :01:18.contacted the police about what happened. This murder has the

:01:19. > :01:24.hallmarks of a paramilitary murder and there is no room in society for

:01:25. > :01:29.this. I need the assistance of the community in order to solve this

:01:30. > :01:32.murder and that is why I would ask anyone who knows any reason why

:01:33. > :01:37.Michael was murdered or the reason or the people who did it to come

:01:38. > :01:41.forward and to contact detectives. Detectives want information about

:01:42. > :01:47.the two masked men who called at his home. They can be described, not one

:01:48. > :01:52.of them in his early 20s, slim build wearing a red hooded top and a

:01:53. > :01:56.baseball cap. The second male as described as being in his late

:01:57. > :02:01.teens, also of slim build wearing a grey hooded top and a baseball cap.

:02:02. > :02:04.The Police Ombudsman has been informed of the killing because the

:02:05. > :02:07.victim contacted the PSNI the day before he was murdered.

:04:21. > :04:23.on top over nearest championship Now finally onto the weather

:04:24. > :04:32.forecast for the rest of the weekend, and here's Cecilia

:04:33. > :04:46.Daly. We had a real mix of weather, snow

:04:47. > :04:51.showers in places and also some strong spring sunshine. It will be

:04:52. > :04:54.cold through the rest of the weekend and there will be a sharp frost

:04:55. > :04:58.cold through the rest of the weekend tonight. Not as cold tomorrow but

:04:59. > :05:02.not as sunny but a lot of places will be dry. Some evening sunshine

:05:03. > :05:11.to come as the last of the showers ease away, clear skies, light winds

:05:12. > :05:15.will tumble, down 2-4d. Sunday will start frost in some areas but also

:05:16. > :05:19.Sunday, overall it will not be as chilly because that biting wind will

:05:20. > :05:23.be lighter, the best of the sunshine through the morning especially in

:05:24. > :05:28.the East and South, cloudier skies to move on from the West, it will

:05:29. > :05:32.not be as sunny as today. Rain in the north-west of Scotland and rain

:05:33. > :05:43.across Northern Ireland but for many parts of the UK and Ireland, it will

:05:44. > :05:45.be dry and it will not be as cold as today. Today we struggle to see

:05:46. > :05:48.temperatures much higher than 9 degrees. Tomorrow they will at least

:05:49. > :05:51.get into double figures. More cloud around and rain especially in the

:05:52. > :05:56.north and west. A lot of dry weather. Bits of dampness on Sunday

:05:57. > :06:01.night, cloudy and breezy and no frost because of the cloudier skies.

:06:02. > :06:05.Milder on Monday, some dampness in places in the morning but it should

:06:06. > :06:09.end up dry and bright with some sunshine and we are expecting the

:06:10. > :06:12.weather to become more settled next week, high-pressure nudging into the

:06:13. > :06:16.North meaning the weather fronts will be squeezed out of rainfall and

:06:17. > :06:23.there will be a lot of dry weather. Cloudy at times especially at the

:06:24. > :06:23.beginning of the week, more sunshine from Wednesday onwards.
