:00:00. > :00:00.Thank you very much indeed. More throughout the evening on the BBC

:00:00. > :00:00.News All the Assembly election results

:00:00. > :00:14.are now in, and the final With the story behind the figures,

:00:15. > :00:37.here's our political And after years of losing,

:00:38. > :00:42.this was Eamonn McCann's big chance. His People Before Profit party

:00:43. > :00:57.will have two MLAs, just We have seen the biggest increase in

:00:58. > :01:00.terms of votes in any party of the election and we have doubled our

:01:01. > :01:06.number of seats in the Assembly from one the two and unseated the Deputy

:01:07. > :01:09.Leader of another party in South Belfast. We can be very proud of

:01:10. > :01:12.A more difficult election for the SDLP had a silver lining

:01:13. > :01:15.in Fermanagh/South Tyrone where they took a seat off Sinn Fein.

:01:16. > :01:21.The SDLP are back in Fermanagh and South Tyrone.

:01:22. > :01:24.And more good news in West Tyrone, where they overcame

:01:25. > :01:28.internal splits to take a seat with an increased vote.

:01:29. > :01:36.Today, I am celebrating a great trial by my party here, locally in

:01:37. > :01:36.West Tyrone. We have had many challenges.

:01:37. > :01:38.This election saw the Ulster Unionist leader push

:01:39. > :01:44.the envelope in terms of a seat prediction.

:01:45. > :01:57.People are saying there are too many candidates and vote management was

:01:58. > :02:01.not right and that cost us. Personally, the big cost was that

:02:02. > :02:07.the DUP played on fear. And executed a fantastic campaign. As long as

:02:08. > :02:12.they continue to blame others, when the DUP, blamed the electorate, they

:02:13. > :02:15.were duped, as long as they do that, they will continue to fail because

:02:16. > :02:20.they are not listening. They need to address their own problems. They had

:02:21. > :02:25.a confused message and came out of the Executive and they thought this

:02:26. > :02:26.would cause problems for the DUP. But people have responded to that

:02:27. > :02:27.very strongly. Which meant the former Sinn Fein

:02:28. > :02:33.minister John O'Dowd survived. With me now is our political

:02:34. > :02:50.editor, Mark Devenport. Tired, I am sure! The results in.

:02:51. > :02:56.Winners and losers? The SDLP with the losers in as much as they have

:02:57. > :03:00.gone down two seats on what they had before. It was feared in the early

:03:01. > :03:05.stages they might miss the threshold for getting into the power-sharing

:03:06. > :03:09.government, that has not happened, with 1244 macro, they could get a

:03:10. > :03:16.ministry. Sinn Fein have also gone down by one. -- with 12 MLAs. They

:03:17. > :03:20.will be disappointed they have not got 30 seats because that would

:03:21. > :03:24.allow them to veto measures. A lot of drama on the unionist side and

:03:25. > :03:29.the DUP will be proud they have held onto their 31 seats and the Ulster

:03:30. > :03:36.Unionists annoyed they have not made gains. Very clear winners among the

:03:37. > :03:41.smaller parties include People Before Profit, the left-wing party

:03:42. > :03:44.with two MLAs and the Greens who have doubled their representation in

:03:45. > :03:50.Stormont. Time frame, how long before the next Executive is formed?

:03:51. > :03:58.We expect the MLAs to be back in Parliament buildings and new MLAs to

:03:59. > :04:02.go to their new buildings maybe on Thursday we will have a new Speaker

:04:03. > :04:05.elected. In terms of government ministers and the appointment of

:04:06. > :04:11.ministers the Department is, that awaits the outcome of negotiations

:04:12. > :04:12.for a future government which could be in about a fortnight. Thank you,

:04:13. > :04:14.busy days ahead. Three men arrested after the funeral

:04:15. > :04:17.of a dissident republican in Strabane have appeared

:04:18. > :04:19.in court in Omagh. They were detained on Thursday

:04:20. > :04:21.after the funeral of Mickey Barr, The men, all from the Republic,

:04:22. > :04:25.are charged with wearing clothing leading to suspicion

:04:26. > :04:27.that they were members Football, and underdogs Glenavon

:04:28. > :04:32.have won the Irish Cup, beating Just before half-time,

:04:33. > :04:38.Glenavon got their first, with this emphatic finish from Kevin

:04:39. > :04:40.Braniff. Less than two minutes

:04:41. > :04:42.into the second half, Linfield were stunned when the men

:04:43. > :04:44.from Mourneview got a second, In rugby, Ulster secured

:04:45. > :04:51.a semi-final place in the Pro12 play-offs with a 46-26

:04:52. > :04:52.win against Ospreys. The visitors' six tries gave them

:04:53. > :04:55.a vital bonus-point victory, and the scores included this piece

:04:56. > :04:57.of individual first-half brilliance Ospreys fought back hard, but Ulster

:04:58. > :05:12.kept the scoreboard ticking over, this one coming from replacement

:05:13. > :05:18.centre Stuart Olding. The weather forecast

:05:49. > :05:52.good part of next week. To begin with tomorrow, some mist and low

:06:25. > :06:29.will break the 20 degrees barrier on Monday, with a lot of blue sky and
