:00:00. > :00:00.Here, on BBC One, it's time for the news where you are.

:00:07. > :00:12.A series of hoax bomb calls to schools has been described

:00:13. > :00:18.by the police as very serious and worrying.

:00:19. > :00:22.Some of the schools closed following the telephoned warnings

:00:23. > :00:25.which were similar to calls made in other parts of the UK yesterday.

:00:26. > :00:40.The threats were received at seven skills, among members won in alarm.

:00:41. > :00:45.The caller threatened that there was a bomb in the premises and we should

:00:46. > :00:49.not make a phone call to warn anybody about it.

:00:50. > :00:53.Hundreds of children were sent home and. When to stand there were

:00:54. > :01:01.something unusual about the weird messages were community --

:01:02. > :01:06.communicated, they were recorded. We will work with other UK forces

:01:07. > :01:14.because we think there were similar calls received in England.

:01:15. > :01:20.27 calls overall. They have caused widespread disruption across

:01:21. > :01:24.Northern Ireland. 400 young people had to be evacuated from the school

:01:25. > :01:28.and nursery classes were also suspended.

:01:29. > :01:37.Parents unexpectedly called in to collect children were annoyed.

:01:38. > :01:44.I was informed that it was a bomb threat and that the police received

:01:45. > :01:46.a recorded message. I think it is disgraceful these kids are just

:01:47. > :01:50.trying to -- I think it is disgraceful. They are just trying to

:01:51. > :01:54.learn. It is disgusting. The schools will

:01:55. > :01:56.reopen for classes in the morning. The Deputy First Minister has

:01:57. > :01:59.introduced the Sinn Fein ministerial team, without giving away

:02:00. > :02:01.which departments Martin McGuinness said

:02:02. > :02:07.he was confident a Justice Minister would be agreed with the DUP

:02:08. > :02:15.by tomorrow, which has to happen before the rest of the Executive

:02:16. > :02:17.can be appointed. Earlier, I asked our political

:02:18. > :02:19.editor, Mark Devenport, what he made of the make-up

:02:20. > :02:29.of the new Sinn Fein team. Maybe a little bit of a surprise

:02:30. > :02:36.that Conor Murphy's name was not there as he is often talked about a

:02:37. > :02:40.potential replacement for Martin McGuinness. Putting that to one

:02:41. > :02:46.side, it was a young looking team. Megan Fearon at the age of 24 is the

:02:47. > :02:57.youngest. We do not know which department she will be allocated to.

:02:58. > :03:07.Mairtin O Muilleoir could be someone who fancies and economic brief. He

:03:08. > :03:14.is a businessman with a background in media business. He has visited

:03:15. > :03:17.the United States and his previous capacity as Lord Belfast. Michelle

:03:18. > :03:22.O'Neill provides continuity with the previous ministerial team. We do not

:03:23. > :03:26.know whether jobs will be but Martin McGuinness was strong and talking

:03:27. > :03:29.about their qualities as a ministerial team.

:03:30. > :03:34.They are all of my friends, they are all highly intelligent, they are all

:03:35. > :03:41.hugely dedicated Irish republicans and they are backed up by all of our

:03:42. > :03:47.other colleagues who are just as intelligent and determined. We could

:03:48. > :03:50.have full these positions to three times over.

:03:51. > :03:57.There is still confusion over the Justice Minister. How will that be

:03:58. > :03:59.resolved? That is still unclear. We know that

:04:00. > :04:03.they have to resolve it otherwise they cannot get on with appointing

:04:04. > :04:15.other ministers. That would trigger an collection. Martin McGuinness has

:04:16. > :04:20.said that will not happen. It seems the only option will be an

:04:21. > :04:29.independent Unionist or DUP Justice Minister. These comments were seized

:04:30. > :04:34.on that it could come from elsewhere.

:04:35. > :04:39.The make-up of the next administration will be in the mean

:04:40. > :04:43.between the DUP and Sinn Fein. There will be further discussions about

:04:44. > :04:46.that. We're expecting the assembly to sit

:04:47. > :04:54.at noon tomorrow and will get the answers to those questions as to to

:04:55. > :05:01.the Justice Minister will be and what portfolio will go to the Sinn

:05:02. > :05:03.Fein ministers. Martin McGuinness denied that seeing in the mine was a

:05:04. > :05:07.slap. Our political editor

:05:08. > :05:08.speaking to me earlier. A 16-year-old has appeared in court

:05:09. > :05:11.charged with the murder of Gerard Quinn in Londonderry

:05:12. > :05:13.at the weekend. The teenager's relatives said

:05:14. > :05:16.they offered their deepest Here's our North-West

:05:17. > :05:28.reporter, Keiron Tourish. The 16-year-old boy was accused of

:05:29. > :05:34.the murder of Gerard Quinn and with the attempted grievous bodily harm

:05:35. > :05:39.with intent on a second man. The court heard goalies were called to

:05:40. > :05:44.an incident when a man was stabbed in the throat. When they arrived, he

:05:45. > :05:50.was lying on the ground and had lost a lot of light. Members of the

:05:51. > :05:55.public were trying to revive him. He later died. A postmortem examination

:05:56. > :06:02.revealed that Gerard Quinn died from a star point to the neck from broken

:06:03. > :06:07.glass. It caused immediate bleeding which could not be stopped. The

:06:08. > :06:12.detective said prior to the incident there was a fight involving the

:06:13. > :06:15.deceased, as brother and another 16-year-old individual. She

:06:16. > :06:20.confirmed the accused raised the issue of self defence of himself and

:06:21. > :06:25.others. A defence barrister said the accused's family wanted to convey

:06:26. > :06:31.their deepest condolences to the victim's family for what he

:06:32. > :06:36.described was a tragedy. He said the 16-year-old was caught grating

:06:37. > :06:43.fully. Nielsen said there would be no repercussions, hopefully. The

:06:44. > :06:47.district judge conveyed his sympathy to the victim's family and said it

:06:48. > :06:52.was a tragedy for all. A 29-year-old man has been arrested

:06:53. > :06:55.after he handed himself into gardai this evening in connection

:06:56. > :06:58.with the murder of a man in Dublin's Gareth Hutch, who was in his 30s,

:06:59. > :07:01.was shot several times around ten o'clock this morning

:07:02. > :07:03.in North Cumberland Street. It's thought to be the latest

:07:04. > :07:07.attack in a ongoing feud. He is the seventh person to die

:07:08. > :07:10.since February as a result of a dispute between the Hutch

:07:11. > :07:20.and Kinahan gangs. This morning was another outrageous

:07:21. > :07:26.event. Very violent and indeed extremely worrying.

:07:27. > :07:30.The GAA says it hopes to start building a new Casement Park stadium

:07:31. > :07:36.A new planning application will be submitted soon and the GAA says it

:07:37. > :07:38.will address fears over the emergency exiting arrangements

:07:39. > :07:43.The association also says it wants to hear the views of

:07:44. > :07:56.GAA started adding feeds that are both what size and shape Casement

:07:57. > :07:59.Park should be. The last planning application was overturned. This

:08:00. > :08:01.time they hope the outcome will be different.

:08:02. > :08:05.The submission of the planning application will be that the quarter

:08:06. > :08:11.of this year. Colchester construction next year if we get

:08:12. > :08:14.planning through any intent from GAA is to have construction completed by

:08:15. > :08:20.2019. Critics said you were too arrogant

:08:21. > :08:24.last time. Do you accept that? I would not accept the charge of

:08:25. > :08:28.being arrogant but I would say that GAA approached it in good faith. The

:08:29. > :08:33.number of lessons have been learned. We want to be good neighbours and

:08:34. > :08:36.have been in the past. I hope that in the upcoming process and when

:08:37. > :08:44.Casement Park is completed then we can be no -- good neighbours.

:08:45. > :08:51.This was the original design for the stadium and another new one is being

:08:52. > :08:57.worked on. The GAA say they do not have to have 38,000 seats and they

:08:58. > :09:01.will not be demolishing nearby houses to accommodate it.

:09:02. > :09:11.We have no plans to purchase or demolish anybody's homes. We have no

:09:12. > :09:18.authority in relation to compulsory purchase orders.

:09:19. > :09:21.It is an ambitious plan to have this old stadium redesigned, rebuilt and

:09:22. > :09:24.fully functioning all within the next four years. But the GAA say

:09:25. > :09:28.they are confident plan will work. And tonight's BBC Spotlight

:09:29. > :09:29.programme investigates the delay That's here on BBC One

:09:30. > :09:34.straight after this news. The Prince of Wales sampled

:09:35. > :09:37.ancient and modern culture He also got an irreverent

:09:38. > :09:41.tour dealing with some Maggie Taggart was at Hillborough

:09:42. > :09:58.for a musical event tonight. This is the final event of the day

:09:59. > :10:02.here at Hillsborough Castle where, in theory, the royal couple can kick

:10:03. > :10:07.off their shoes and listen to relaxing music, before retiring for

:10:08. > :10:10.the night. Around 200 guests joined them in the audience and afterwards

:10:11. > :10:16.they met the performers. While most were on their best behaviour, one

:10:17. > :10:25.comedian could not resist teasing the first-mac.

:10:26. > :10:32.I'm nervous but not because of you, because of this lady. She do so,

:10:33. > :10:38.this is a big gig for me because she might offer me a post if it goes

:10:39. > :10:49.well. The Prince visited a church

:10:50. > :10:53.community centre. That has been there since I remember

:10:54. > :10:57.and it is lovely to see it all done up.

:10:58. > :11:04.County Armagh is the next stop and a food and drink event.

:11:05. > :11:09.It was lovely to meet them. We did not know they were good to be here.

:11:10. > :11:16.We thought we would ring her down and meet royalty for the first time.

:11:17. > :11:17.Then the chance to you the making of a carpet destined for Buckingham

:11:18. > :11:23.Palace. I'm glad to discover that the carpet

:11:24. > :11:32.destined for a given Palace is going to arrive on time.

:11:33. > :11:41.Then on a heritage museum where relics included a glove repeatedly

:11:42. > :11:43.warned by King Billie. The compere, well-known to Northern Ireland,

:11:44. > :11:48.nature that local talent was recognised.

:11:49. > :11:55.It was marvellous to get a cross-section of Northern Irish

:11:56. > :11:56.talent to remain people what talent there is.

:11:57. > :12:06.The weather forecast now, with Cecilia Daly.

:12:13. > :12:21.cooler on the coast. We have had clear skies tonight and they will

:12:22. > :12:26.remain overnight. The risk of Frost on the grass and fog patches in the

:12:35. > :12:47.It will be another pretty good day although it will turn cloudy from

:12:48. > :12:59.the East as it goes on. The rain will spread from the East through

:13:02. > :13:05.will have sunshine tomorrow afternoon. Not as warm as today but

:13:06. > :13:13.still 16 degrees in places. Cloud and cooler in the East but at least

:13:14. > :13:19.it is dry. Some rain in the East in the morning on Thursday. It should

:13:20. > :13:21.not amount to much and the emphasis is on dry weather. Warming up over
