:00:09. > :00:12.The Coastguard has confirmed that debris found off the coast

:00:13. > :00:15.of County Antrim belongs to the light aircraft that

:00:16. > :00:20.The plane with two people on board left the City of Derry Airport bound

:00:21. > :00:23.A search for the two passengers is continuing.

:00:24. > :00:26.The wreckage, including the tail fin, was discovered by a Dublin

:00:27. > :00:35.couple who were on holiday in their yacht.

:00:36. > :00:42.Members of the public have been phoning in and giving information.

:00:43. > :00:45.That's given us a lot of help and we would appeal to anyone who has any

:00:46. > :00:52.information or has seen the aircraft yesterday to come forward.

:00:53. > :00:54.The Secretary of State has refused to withdraw comments

:00:55. > :00:55.she made about collusion, following yesterday's report

:00:56. > :00:59.Earlier this year, Theresa Villiers said claims that state collusion

:01:00. > :01:01.with paramilitaries was rife, were "pernicious" and a "deliberate

:01:02. > :01:04.Relatives of victims of the Loughinisland attack have

:01:05. > :01:06.called on Ms Villiers to retract her comments.

:01:07. > :01:19.After 22 years of hurt now Loughinisland can begin to heal. It

:01:20. > :01:24.had been long suspected there was collusion between the police and the

:01:25. > :01:29.UVF gunmen who killed six men here in 1994. Yesterday, those

:01:30. > :01:33.allegations were confirmed in public by the Police Ombudsman. Many of the

:01:34. > :01:39.issues I have identified in this report including the protection of

:01:40. > :01:44.informants through wilful acts and the turning of a blind eye and the

:01:45. > :01:50.destruction of police records are in and of themselves evidence of

:01:51. > :01:52.collusion. That led to calls for the Secretary of State to retract

:01:53. > :01:57.comments she made, appearing to question the extent of collusion in

:01:58. > :02:03.some notorious atrocities including Loughinisland. That reference by

:02:04. > :02:07.Theresa Villiers was hurtful and was an attempt to rewrite the truth

:02:08. > :02:11.about happened to our loved ones. We call on her to retract and apologise

:02:12. > :02:17.to us today. I don't feel the need to change or withdraw those

:02:18. > :02:20.comments. This is obviously a very serious report from the Police

:02:21. > :02:25.Ombudsman. It is vital that we do everything we can to bring to

:02:26. > :02:30.justice, not only the terrorists who are directly responsible for the

:02:31. > :02:36.massacre at Loughinisland, but also hold to account any police officers

:02:37. > :02:40.who were responsible for the misconduct identified in the Police

:02:41. > :02:46.Ombudsman's very tough report. Victims' families say their campaign

:02:47. > :02:47.is not over yet. Now they have been told the truth they will be seeking

:02:48. > :02:52.justice for their loved ones. The police chief who'll head

:02:53. > :02:54.the investigation into the alleged activities of the Army's most

:02:55. > :02:57.high-ranking agent in the IRA, known as "Stakeknife",

:02:58. > :02:59.says he will follow where Stakeknife is alleged to have been

:03:00. > :03:05.a member of the IRA's internal security unit,

:03:06. > :03:06.which murdered informers. The investigation will be

:03:07. > :03:20.led by Jon Boutcher, With both the passage of time and

:03:21. > :03:24.the very nature of these crimes, the truth will be a difficult and

:03:25. > :03:27.elusive prey. However, I undertake to pursue every line of inquiry. And

:03:28. > :03:30.leave no stone unturned. A Fermanagh doctor who admitted

:03:31. > :03:33.exploiting and taking advantage of a vulnerable elderly patient has

:03:34. > :03:35.been struck off. 61-year-old Michelle Mellotte

:03:36. > :03:39.from Bannagh Beg Road in Kesh, County Fermanagh was given

:03:40. > :03:42.a suspended prison sentence in April after pleading guilty to fraud

:03:43. > :03:47.by abuse of her position. Michelle Mellotte took the money

:03:48. > :03:51.from Michael McGrory in February 2010, saying it would be

:03:52. > :03:54.repaid that summer. It was only returned after police

:03:55. > :04:03.began an investigation in 2011. Well, the European Football

:04:04. > :04:08.Championships have begun with tonight's opening game

:04:09. > :04:10.featuring host nation, France. Northern Ireland's first match

:04:11. > :04:12.will be on Sunday against Poland in Nice, and Tara Mills

:04:29. > :04:33.come here to Nice to soak up at moss fear and support their teams. This

:04:34. > :04:36.is the city's fan zone where those without tickets can watch play on

:04:37. > :04:40.the big screen and Northern Ireland fans have been arriving here all

:04:41. > :04:42.week ready for Sunday's opener against Poland. Mark Simpson has

:04:43. > :04:49.been talking to some of them. Everywhere you go in Nice,

:04:50. > :04:51.you either hear or see You arrived last night.

:04:52. > :04:56.How long are you staying? Until Northern Ireland

:04:57. > :04:58.get knocked out. I will not be back,

:04:59. > :05:01.if my boss is listening, Colm, I won't be home

:05:02. > :05:04.until Northern Ireland are out. She will have to wait

:05:05. > :05:10.on me coming back too! Hello Sharon.

:05:11. > :05:24.How is it going? In many ways it is the perfect city

:05:25. > :05:27.for the fans, plenty of accommodation, have a look,

:05:28. > :05:29.hotel after hotel, after hotel. Lots to see, lots to do,

:05:30. > :05:32.and the stadium for Sunday's match is only 15 minutes

:05:33. > :05:34.away and the airport, These fans are now living

:05:35. > :05:48.and working in Australia, but they flew half-way around

:05:49. > :05:50.the world to be here. Never really qualified

:05:51. > :05:53.in my generation. Tens of thousands of

:05:54. > :06:01.Northern Ireland supporters Some very optimistic fans bought

:06:02. > :06:12.tickets that become valid should we get to the latter stages, you

:06:13. > :06:15.know, the semifinal and the final. So we know that there is over

:06:16. > :06:18.30,000, maybe in the region of 33,000 that are just through

:06:19. > :06:21.the Northern Ireland allocation. One by one, the fans are arriving

:06:22. > :06:33.at the Euros and many The Northern Ireland captain has

:06:34. > :06:37.been talking about how he is looking forward to the match against Poland

:06:38. > :06:40.on Sunday. There is a great excitement about it and I think it

:06:41. > :06:44.will be a special feeling walking out the tunnel for the first game

:06:45. > :06:47.against Poland and seeing obviously our fans and the noise they will

:06:48. > :06:51.make. It will be incredible. Hopefully we can make it a memorable

:06:52. > :06:55.one and get the right result. I think when we put everything

:06:56. > :07:00.together, it is incredible sense of pride and just looking forward to it

:07:01. > :07:04.really. I think we've taken a lot of satisfaction really from seeing how

:07:05. > :07:07.much it has united the whole country back home. Well, the Republic of

:07:08. > :07:13.Ireland team was given the day off today from training and interviews

:07:14. > :07:17.to give the players a day off. Their first game is against Sweden on

:07:18. > :07:22.Monday and a lot is expected from striker Shane Long. I don't take any

:07:23. > :07:26.notice. I try and concentrate on my playing. If I get picked to go out

:07:27. > :07:34.and play I will make sure I'm in the best condition. How important is the

:07:35. > :07:39.momentum? It is a great chance for us to put our stamp on the Euros and

:07:40. > :07:45.to have the best chance possible of progressing. The tournament will

:07:46. > :07:47.take place across France. Newsline about bring you the action over the

:07:48. > :07:50.next couple of weeks. Tara Mills and the Newsline team

:07:51. > :07:53.reporting for us there from France. MP Jeffrey Donaldson

:07:54. > :07:55.has been knighted in The DUP representative

:07:56. > :07:58.is among 101 people from Northern Ireland

:07:59. > :08:01.to be recognised. He's currently the party's chief

:08:02. > :08:03.whip, and has represented Lagan Valley in the House of Commons

:08:04. > :08:06.for almost 20 years. He says despite the new title,

:08:07. > :08:15.he'll remain the same. I'm going nowhere. I'm staying

:08:16. > :08:18.firmly in Lagan Valley representing the people who have elected me for

:08:19. > :08:24.the next four years in Parliament. That is to me the greatest honour of

:08:25. > :08:28.all and I look forward to continuing that representation. I will still be

:08:29. > :08:31.Jeffrey. I will still be the local MP and hopefully the person that

:08:32. > :08:32.people can come to when they need help and support, I will be there

:08:33. > :08:35.and I will continue to be there. Now the weekend weather

:08:36. > :08:42.forecast with Cecilia Daly. Good evening. There will still be

:08:43. > :08:46.some showers around tonight, but they will become lighter and less

:08:47. > :08:49.frequent compared to earlier today. Mist and fog once again troubling

:08:50. > :08:55.parts of the East Coast and a layer of low cloud forming in many places

:08:56. > :09:01.too. But it will gradually brighten up. There will be a warmth, a

:09:02. > :09:06.humidity to the day. A couple of showers around in the morning, but

:09:07. > :09:10.plenty of dry weather too, but temperatures creep up to 20 Celsius.

:09:11. > :09:14.There will absprinkling of showers across many parts of brirnings but

:09:15. > :09:17.it looks like a drier day for a while across the Republic of Ireland

:09:18. > :09:20.with sunshine breaking through as well. And the skies will brighten

:09:21. > :09:24.across much of Northern Ireland, with sunshine, temperatures getting

:09:25. > :09:29.close to 20 Celsius, but there will be one or two sharp showers. It

:09:30. > :09:32.looks like a fine end to the day and for the boat race, a couple of

:09:33. > :09:36.showers around. Some warmth as well, but a misty, murky start, we think

:09:37. > :09:40.to the morning. Sunday starts wet across Northern Ireland, but it will

:09:41. > :09:43.get a bit drier and brighter as the day goes ovenlt have a great

:09:44. > :09:46.That's it from us until 7.30pm tomorrow evening.
