:01:45. > :01:51.the Taoiseach has agreed to establish a forum to deal with the
:01:52. > :01:56.massive challenges that face all the buzz on this island in the time and
:01:57. > :02:00.that's a good thing. The Taoiseach may have agreed it but it neglected
:02:01. > :02:04.to mention it to the First Minister and the DUP did not want another
:02:05. > :02:08.North-South body so when the ministers re-emerged the forum did
:02:09. > :02:14.not feature as one of the points agreed on. It wasn't discussed with
:02:15. > :02:20.me at any stage at the weekend before and it wasn't discussed today
:02:21. > :02:26.but what was discussed was the fact that we do intend to continue to use
:02:27. > :02:30.all of those different mechanisms which end there's talked about, the
:02:31. > :02:36.Irish council, the ministerial council and and all of our
:02:37. > :02:41.continuing talks between the different ministers, they take place
:02:42. > :02:44.on an ongoing basis in any event. That wasn't what her partner in
:02:45. > :02:51.government wanted to hear. I still think that the forum suggestion is a
:02:52. > :02:55.good suggestion. I don't believe that there should be a veto. I
:02:56. > :03:03.believe there many people throughout the island, many say: is an business
:03:04. > :03:09.groups and Fireman associations, many others in the North who would
:03:10. > :03:12.gladly accept the opportunity to participate in a conversation which

:05:09. > :05:12.cost Stormont less, the narrow the gap between the UK rate and the
:05:13. > :05:17.Northern Ireland rate, the less the hit the grand takes, those are the
:05:18. > :05:19.rules at the moment. The downside would be it would lessen Northern
:05:20. > :05:24.Ireland 's attractiveness compared to other parts of the UK, it would
:05:25. > :05:28.bridge use our competitiveness. What would it mean for the jobs which the
:05:29. > :05:31.executive hopes to create for us benefiting from the lower
:05:32. > :05:36.corporation tax? It would almost certainly mean a revision of the
:05:37. > :05:42.jobs benefits of corporation tax. The executive has fought a long and
:05:43. > :05:46.hard battle to get to this point and all through this time the ground has
:05:47. > :05:50.shifted needs its feet. When it started in this journey, the
:05:51. > :05:58.corporation tax rate in the UK was but cut after cut has reduced it,
