:00:57. > :00:58.close its doors for the last time and there is more bad news on the

:00:59. > :00:59.jobs front elsewhere. The recently discovered 17th century

:01:00. > :01:03.castle that's been hiding in plain With the Ryder Cup fast approaching,

:01:04. > :01:07.Rory McIlroy finds form And it's not a completely rain-free

:01:08. > :01:13.forecast this weekend, but there will be plenty

:01:14. > :01:15.of dry weather about. I'll be back with a full forecast

:01:16. > :01:24.later. First to that death of a young

:01:25. > :01:29.teenager in a motorbike accident. The 13-year-old was seriously

:01:30. > :01:33.injured at a motocross track in Magilligan yesterday afternoon

:01:34. > :01:36.and died later after being airlifted Our Kevin Sharkey reports

:01:37. > :01:51.from the north coast. The scene of the tragedy from a

:01:52. > :01:57.distance. The track where the accident happened along the banks.

:01:58. > :02:01.Daniel Sheridan suffered serious injuries and he was airlifted to

:02:02. > :02:05.hospital at lunchtime yesterday. Less than 24 hours later he had

:02:06. > :02:11.died. The exact circumstances of what happened at the end of this

:02:12. > :02:14.very narrow lane way is still unclear. The police are only saying

:02:15. > :02:23.that they are investigating on behalf of the coroner. What is known

:02:24. > :02:27.is that this is a very popular place for motocross practice. It is a

:02:28. > :02:34.brief facility for all ages. It is just unfortunate. That this crash

:02:35. > :02:37.has happened. The young lad Daniel who has unfortunately passed away

:02:38. > :02:44.has been there loads of times. Myself, his brother and him have

:02:45. > :02:50.always done laps. Alongside the sadness, happy memories. A schoolboy

:02:51. > :02:54.who loved his hobby. He is a loving kid. He is very funny. He was quiet

:02:55. > :03:01.but he always had a smart word to say. He was just loving life. He

:03:02. > :03:08.always liked to be involved doing training. He liked to be in the

:03:09. > :03:14.thick of things. The teenager was a pupil at Tallaght in Dublin. Today

:03:15. > :03:17.the parents Association extended their sympathy to the family and

:03:18. > :03:21.friends. There will be prayers at the school tomorrow in memory of the

:03:22. > :03:23.schoolboy and in support of his family.

:03:24. > :03:27.The death of a man on a farm is being investigated by the Health

:03:28. > :03:31.He was in his 70s, but his name hasn't been made public.

:03:32. > :03:33.The incident was in Silverbridge, County Armagh yesterday afternoon.

:03:34. > :03:36.Investigators are trying to work out the circumstances

:03:37. > :03:38.surrounding his death, and to establish if farm

:03:39. > :03:44.The First Minister Arlene Foster has made her first public comment

:03:45. > :03:52.on the affair which led to the resignation of

:03:53. > :03:54.the Sinn Fein Assembly member Daithi McKay and calls

:03:55. > :03:57.for the Finance Minister Mairtin O Muilleoir to step aside.

:03:58. > :04:00.The DUP leader says Mr O Muilleoir should have temporarily stood down

:04:01. > :04:03.when it was announced there'd be an investigation into the coaching

:04:04. > :04:11.He was on the Finance Committee at the time when it heard evidence

:04:12. > :04:13.from the witness - the loyalist blogger Jamie Bryson.

:04:14. > :04:18.Here's our political correspondent Gareth Gordon.

:04:19. > :04:21.Arlene Foster's first reaction to a story which broke

:04:22. > :04:27.when she was on holiday was the same as most other people's.

:04:28. > :04:33.This Sinn Fein chair of a Stormont committee really had helped to coach

:04:34. > :04:35.the loyalist Jamie Bryson on how to give evidence -

:04:36. > :04:38.a move the First Minister claimed was designed to

:04:39. > :04:41.destabilise her party and the administration generally.

:04:42. > :04:45.And does she agree with those who say the now

:04:46. > :04:52.Sinn Fein Finance Minister should step aside?

:04:53. > :04:58.Mairtin O Muilleoir took a very high-profile role on that committee

:04:59. > :05:03.and a very particular line of questioning as well, so I have said

:05:04. > :05:06.he should think about stepping aside even if he is stepping aside

:05:07. > :05:11.temporarily. But it is a matter for him and his party as to whether he

:05:12. > :05:14.does that. I can't force him to do that. It is a matter for him as to

:05:15. > :05:15.whether he takes that course of action.

:05:16. > :05:17.But Mr O Muilleoir says he's done nothing wrong and his party

:05:18. > :05:28.Arlene Foster is the first public comment on this messy affair won't

:05:29. > :05:32.have widened the rift between her party and Sinn Fein. The issue is

:05:33. > :05:35.far from over but unless something else emerges it doesn't look quite

:05:36. > :05:36.threatening the uneasy compromise at Stormont.

:05:37. > :05:38.And that has led this party leader to question

:05:39. > :05:45.First of all it is clear she'd is not even going to try and lift a

:05:46. > :05:50.finger against Mairtin O Muilleoir and it gives the lie to the promise

:05:51. > :05:55.that the manifesto they had fixed everything at St Andrews and there

:05:56. > :05:58.would be no more solo runs by Minister and no more party interests

:05:59. > :06:02.about the good of the Executive. That is clearly what Mairtin O

:06:03. > :06:06.Muilleoir is doing. He has a choice. He can do what is like with the

:06:07. > :06:08.institutions, the party, or they can do what is right for himself. He is

:06:09. > :06:11.choosing the me, me, me option. Sinn Fein haven't commented

:06:12. > :06:13.on Arlene Foster's call, believing nothing more needs

:06:14. > :06:26.to be said. Some news just coming into us.

:06:27. > :06:30.Police say they are investigating reports of a suspect device in South

:06:31. > :06:34.Armagh. They are asking people to avoid the whole road area will stop

:06:35. > :06:42.-- Hol. Pat Hickey's family say they're

:06:43. > :06:47.concerned about the Olympic official's health as he remains

:06:48. > :06:51.in jail in Brazil. Up to 100 jobs are at risk with

:06:52. > :06:55.the closure of four restaurants - part of a UK-wide chain,

:06:56. > :06:57.which includes Frankie Benny's. The news comes as a bigger casualty

:06:58. > :07:00.prepares to leave the high street. The last BHS department

:07:01. > :07:02.store in Northern Ireland Earlier from outside

:07:03. > :07:05.the store in Belfast, our Economics and Business Editor

:07:06. > :07:15.told me first about This is a big nationwide chain

:07:16. > :07:19.called the Restaurant Group that owns more than 500 themed

:07:20. > :07:24.restaurants across the UK. It has been having a tough time and it is

:07:25. > :07:27.going to be closing more than 30 restaurants across the UK. Four in

:07:28. > :07:33.Northern Ireland. Those are the branches of Mikey and Benny 's in

:07:34. > :07:38.Ballymena, Coleraine and Derry and Chiquito is, the Mexican restaurant

:07:39. > :07:43.in Victoria Square. They haven't said how many jobs are under threat

:07:44. > :07:49.but I would say it is about 100 jobs. This door behind you are known

:07:50. > :07:52.for many years as British Home Stores, a landmark shop in the

:07:53. > :08:00.centre of Belfast. What will be the impact of the closure? The most

:08:01. > :08:05.immediate impact will be on the 60 people that work here. They will

:08:06. > :08:08.join others who work for BHS branches in Northern Ireland and

:08:09. > :08:14.thousands of people who worked for this country -- company. There will

:08:15. > :08:19.be a retail unit in the centre of Belfast lying idle. This unit has

:08:20. > :08:23.not had lot of money spent on it. It'll take a significant investment

:08:24. > :08:30.to make it attractive. Remind us why we are seeing the demise of the UK

:08:31. > :08:34.retail BHS. A panel of MPs investigated the closure of BHS and

:08:35. > :08:40.they have laid the Green Bay -- very firmly on the fault of Sir Philip

:08:41. > :08:43.Greene and Dominic Chappel. They say Sir Philip Greene took hundreds of

:08:44. > :08:46.millions of pounds out of the business over the years, failed to

:08:47. > :08:51.reinvest and underfunded pension scheme. Then when things got bad he

:08:52. > :08:59.couldn't off-load it, couldn't find anyone, and sold to ?1 to Dominic

:09:00. > :09:02.Chappell. They said Dominic Chappel was unsuited to running a business

:09:03. > :09:08.like this. He didn't have very much money. This shop survived the

:09:09. > :09:13.troubles, numerous bombings, it always bunched bikes. It has not

:09:14. > :09:21.survived the impact of Sir Philip green and Dominic Chappel. We have

:09:22. > :09:28.just heard that around 80 jobs are at risk at a food manufacturer and

:09:29. > :09:34.distributor in Enniskillen. It took over a group last year and it has

:09:35. > :09:38.gone into administration. It makes savages and snack foods for

:09:39. > :09:43.convenience stores and retail outlets. Staff were sent home after

:09:44. > :09:45.being informed of the news today. Administrators are examining the

:09:46. > :09:48.options for the future of the business. If

:09:49. > :09:50.The If Director General of the Northern Ireland Prison

:09:51. > :09:54.Sue McAllister will leave her post at the end of October.

:09:55. > :09:56.The 55-year-old said she wanted to lead transformational reform,

:09:57. > :09:59.but during her tenure inspectors described Maghaberry as the most

:10:00. > :10:07.Four years ago, Sue McAllister knew she was taking on a difficult job.

:10:08. > :10:10.Before her appointment, she was part of a review team that

:10:11. > :10:14.produced a highly critical report on the Northern Ireland Prison

:10:15. > :10:18.Service following the suicide of inmate Colin Bell in 2008.

:10:19. > :10:24.She promised reform, but more damning reports followed.

:10:25. > :10:26.In November last year, inspectors described Maghaberry Prison

:10:27. > :10:34.With high levels of staff sickness - and a rising number of assaults

:10:35. > :10:39.There was, in the words of the inspectors,

:10:40. > :10:42.But speaking to BBC Newsline, Ms McAllister maintained

:10:43. > :10:49.she was the right person to achieve change.

:10:50. > :10:56.if I didn't think I was the right person to lead the service I

:10:57. > :11:00.wouldn't be here, Maghaberry is a very complex present. You wouldn't

:11:01. > :11:01.expect me to reform this service overnight. I am here to finish the

:11:02. > :11:02.job I started. That decision follows another

:11:03. > :11:05.inspection of Maghaberry, which was better but far

:11:06. > :11:08.from a clean bill of health. With violence, mental health

:11:09. > :11:10.provision and access to illegal Alliance leader David Ford

:11:11. > :11:24.appointed Sue McAllister I think during her time we have seen

:11:25. > :11:28.significant progress in the part of the prison service. The group that

:11:29. > :11:32.they chaired has seen all the work done that was needed for the prison

:11:33. > :11:36.report. A lot more work needs to be done but the reform has been

:11:37. > :11:41.embedded. But her record divides opinion. The prison service has been

:11:42. > :11:47.left in a much worse shape over the course of the last four years and --

:11:48. > :11:51.than Sue McAllister foundered. The drugs problem in the prison behind

:11:52. > :11:57.us is absolutely right. The assaults on prisoners and prison staff, has

:11:58. > :11:59.went up. This has not been a tenure which can be looked at in any going

:12:00. > :12:01.way. Sue McAllister said,

:12:02. > :12:03.with the conclusion of a reform programme in March, her role has

:12:04. > :12:06.come to a natural end. She also paid tribute

:12:07. > :12:09.to two prison officers David Black and Adrian Ismay,

:12:10. > :12:19.murdered during her tenure. The former Irish Foreign

:12:20. > :12:21.Minister Peter Barry has Mr Barry was central to

:12:22. > :12:25.the negotiations and implementation of the Anglo-Irish Agreement

:12:26. > :12:27.in 1985, which gave the Republic a consultative role in

:12:28. > :12:31.Northern Ireland's internal affairs. As a result, he was often the focus

:12:32. > :12:36.of sustained unionist anger. A man who admitted posting intimate

:12:37. > :12:39.photographs of his former girlfriend on the internet last year has been

:12:40. > :12:41.given a suspended jail sentence Aaron Connor, who's 38

:12:42. > :12:49.and from Cromore Gardens in Londonderry, was also ordered

:12:50. > :12:51.to inform the probation service of any future personal relationships

:12:52. > :13:01.he has with women. The Assembly has decided not

:13:02. > :13:06.to recover more than ?6,000 in expenses paid to MLAs,

:13:07. > :13:09.even though it believes those The move follows a row over Stormont

:13:10. > :13:16.research costs between the independent panel in charge

:13:17. > :13:19.of MLAs' expenses and the commission Here's our Political

:13:20. > :13:27.Editor Mark Devenport. I am looking for the research

:13:28. > :13:30.company. Research services. Questions over expenses paid to MLAs

:13:31. > :13:33.for external researchers were raised by a high profile BBC Spotlight

:13:34. > :13:37.investigation two years ago. The independent panel which set

:13:38. > :13:40.the rules on expenses banned such However in February the panel

:13:41. > :13:46.chair complained that, despite that ban, some allowances

:13:47. > :13:59.were still being paid That is contrary to the

:14:00. > :14:01.determination and commission, if it thinks these were OK, it is quite

:14:02. > :14:02.wrong. Now details have emerged

:14:03. > :14:04.of a review conducted by former Stormont Chief Executive

:14:05. > :14:06.Trevor Reaney. The review acknowledges

:14:07. > :14:09.the regularity of more than ?65,000 paid to MLAs between January 2013

:14:10. > :14:15.and March 2015 was in doubt. It put this down to a discrepancy

:14:16. > :14:21.between the handbook telling MLAs what expenses they can claim

:14:22. > :14:23.and the rules laid down Because the money was claimed

:14:24. > :14:27.in good faith by the politicians, the Assembly has decided there's no

:14:28. > :14:29.reasonable grounds The Assembly says its decision not

:14:30. > :14:35.to recover the irregular payments It hopes that improved liaison

:14:36. > :14:46.between officials and the expenses panel will avoid a similar

:14:47. > :14:47.dispute happening again. However right now there isn't

:14:48. > :14:51.a panel at all - the old team stepped down last month

:14:52. > :14:53.and they haven't been replaced whilst the politicians debate

:14:54. > :14:55.whether a different kind of expenses watchdog should be appointed

:14:56. > :15:03.in the future. The police in Brazil have finished

:15:04. > :15:06.interviewing two officials from the Olympic Council of Ireland

:15:07. > :15:09.in connection with an investigation into the alleged mis-selling

:15:10. > :15:12.of Games tickets. Kevin Kilty and Stephen Martin,

:15:13. > :15:15.who's from Bangor, were allowed to leave police headquarters

:15:16. > :15:17.in Rio yesterday evening. The family of Pat Hickey,

:15:18. > :15:19.the arrested president of the Irish Council,

:15:20. > :15:23.say they are gravely concerned The Irish Foreign Minister has

:15:24. > :15:27.agreed to meet the family There's some flash photography

:15:28. > :15:43.in Ita Dungan's report. Free to go, four hours after walking

:15:44. > :15:48.into Rio police headquarters, Kevin Kilty and Stephen Martin walked back

:15:49. > :15:52.out again. Last weekend the police seized their passports as part of a

:15:53. > :15:56.probe into the mis-selling of Olympic tickets. According to the

:15:57. > :16:02.police they were always only witnesses rather than suspects.

:16:03. > :16:07.Adding that the two had fully cooperated with all their enquiries.

:16:08. > :16:11.A judge will now make the final decision of the return of the men's

:16:12. > :16:18.passports. Following their questioning the police say their

:16:19. > :16:23.testimony integrated Olympic committee president Patrick Hickey

:16:24. > :16:26.was in charge of the ticketing. He along with another Irish official

:16:27. > :16:32.Kevin Mallon were arrested in connection with the mis-selling of

:16:33. > :16:37.tickets. They are now both sharing a cell at the maximum security prison

:16:38. > :16:42.in Rio. Today Pat Hickey's family say they are very concerned about

:16:43. > :16:46.his welfare. They called on the Irish government to intervene,

:16:47. > :16:50.saying they were gravely concerned about the effect this degrading and

:16:51. > :16:56.humiliating ordeal was having on his help. They have described his arrest

:16:57. > :17:02.as entirely inappropriate and unacceptable for a 71-year-old Irish

:17:03. > :17:05.citizen and are requesting an urgent meeting with the Irish Minister for

:17:06. > :17:11.foreign affairs and the Irish sports minister to discuss the manner of

:17:12. > :17:14.his arrest and detention. Pat Hickey's lawyers are currently

:17:15. > :17:16.seeking a second bail application and have gone to court in an attempt

:17:17. > :17:20.to speed up the process. A 17th century castle "lost"

:17:21. > :17:23.for more than 250 years has been rediscovered in the border

:17:24. > :17:25.town of Clones. An archaeological excavation

:17:26. > :17:29.had failed to uncover the remains of the castle,

:17:30. > :17:31.but it was there. Our south west reporter

:17:32. > :17:44.Julian Fowler has been to see Hiding in plain sight. But there are

:17:45. > :17:53.a few clues as to what lies hidden here. Just of this in Clones is

:17:54. > :17:56.Castle Street and Castle house. When two historians recently explored

:17:57. > :18:00.behind these buildings, crossing over barbed wire and through

:18:01. > :18:04.brambles, they made a discovery which now seems obvious. They found

:18:05. > :18:12.a castle. How long has it been missing for? Since the 1760s I would

:18:13. > :18:17.say. It has been missing since the new Street was built in front. I

:18:18. > :18:20.think there is a bit of folklore. Kids may be played here when they

:18:21. > :18:26.were young and pretended it was a castle and they were right, it is a

:18:27. > :18:32.castle. Recently used as a place to dump rubbish, until now experts have

:18:33. > :18:39.dismissed it as an old agricultural outbuilding. They always dismissed

:18:40. > :18:43.it as of no great importance. I know I was certainly present with some of

:18:44. > :18:47.them and they don't think they even came inside the building, just gave

:18:48. > :18:52.it a cursory glance and dismissed it. When a nearby excavation field

:18:53. > :18:57.to find evidence of the building, it was assumed to be castle, built in

:18:58. > :19:03.the 16 hundredths, no longer existed. Now it can reclaim its

:19:04. > :19:09.place in history. Clones has a lot of historical depth to it, early

:19:10. > :19:14.Christian sites, are Abbey. This is the next piece of the jigsaw. We

:19:15. > :19:21.have what we believe to be a remnant of the plantation castle, it means

:19:22. > :19:26.that Clones really has got little bits of every period of Irish

:19:27. > :19:32.history of standing in the town. Having cleared the undergrowth, the

:19:33. > :19:37.defence of features have been revealed, including the musket slips

:19:38. > :19:40.to ward off attackers. There is local folklore of tunnels hidden

:19:41. > :19:45.beneath the town, so there could yet be more discoveries lurking within

:19:46. > :19:49.these walls. Having rediscovered their castle, the plan is known to

:19:50. > :19:55.carry out some archaeology to find out what else could be hidden here.

:19:56. > :19:58.Now sport, and with the Ryder Cup fast approaching, it's a good time

:19:59. > :20:04.Yes - Rory McIlroy has been showing some better form on day two

:20:05. > :20:05.of the Barclays tournament in New York.

:20:06. > :20:08.He has just shot a second round of 69, that's two under par,

:20:09. > :20:10.to make a little headway up the leaderboard.

:20:11. > :20:15.Rory McIlroy started the day five shots off the lead

:20:16. > :20:26.COMMENTATOR: Land sits just below the hole. A little hop and stop for

:20:27. > :20:28.Rory McIlroy. Three birdies in the opening seven

:20:29. > :20:31.holes from the world number five saw him up to as high as second

:20:32. > :20:33.place on the leaderboard. Back-to-back bogeys on the 15th

:20:34. > :20:36.and 16th would take the shine off his day, but he remains

:20:37. > :20:38.in contention going into A return to form no doubt welcomed

:20:39. > :20:42.by Europe's Ryder cup Playing in Denmark today,

:20:43. > :20:56.Clarke received this tremendous show They've got it from the players and

:20:57. > :20:57.they are getting it from the spectators as well. This is a great

:20:58. > :21:01.site. -- site. There are still five weeks

:21:02. > :21:04.until the Ryder Cup in Hazeltine, but the anticipation among these

:21:05. > :21:06.European supporters is clear to see. There are three games tonight

:21:07. > :21:09.in the Danske Bank Premiership. Newly promoted Ards are the league

:21:10. > :21:11.leaders and travel to Mourneview Park to take

:21:12. > :21:14.on a Glenavon side who lost heavily Their manager is expecting

:21:15. > :21:27.a response tonight. It would be happening again, that is

:21:28. > :21:32.for sure. We weren't happy. -- won't. The players have to realise

:21:33. > :21:35.there are loads waiting in the wings coming back from injury and will be

:21:36. > :21:39.back in the next three or four weeks. If I had the opportunity

:21:40. > :21:42.there would be five or six changes, but we don't have that

:21:43. > :21:46.unfortunately, so we have to go with what we go with. Hopefully this time

:21:47. > :21:51.the boys will take the opportunity and get back in the swing of things.

:21:52. > :21:54.I would say we will get Gwen Aven on top form. We will enjoy it. It is a

:21:55. > :21:57.beautiful club and stadium. Derry City will look to step

:21:58. > :21:59.up their title challenge tomorrow The Candystripes lie

:22:00. > :22:02.second in the table, Kenny Shiels' side are also

:22:03. > :22:05.challenging for silverware on another front -

:22:06. > :22:07.they're through to the Another impressive

:22:08. > :22:13.display from Derry City - this time in the cup

:22:14. > :22:16.against Bohemians last week. Harry Monaghan put them

:22:17. > :22:18.ahead in the first half. The Candystripes scored a second

:22:19. > :22:20.after the break League form's been eye catching too

:22:21. > :22:25.- Derry are currently second and have only lost four times

:22:26. > :22:38.in 23 matches. I think team spirit is a big thing

:22:39. > :22:43.from me. Player development. If you put those two together, they are

:22:44. > :22:49.quite a bit of the way down the road with your squad. There is in such

:22:50. > :22:53.thing as an expert or someone who knows it all. You just want to do it

:22:54. > :22:56.in association with the culture of the club and try and married those

:22:57. > :23:01.two together and do what you think is right for this particular club.

:23:02. > :23:05.Things are working quite well for us at the moment. It is important we do

:23:06. > :23:06.everything we can do to sustain that.

:23:07. > :23:08.Kenny Shiels has given youth a chance and those

:23:09. > :23:10.players have delivered - four of his brightest young

:23:11. > :23:12.talents are being given new or extended contracts.

:23:13. > :23:16.There's a new found confidence in the dressing room.

:23:17. > :23:26.Kenny has been brilliant since he came. A lot more professional,

:23:27. > :23:32.coming back from jobs in Scotland, on and off the pitch, we have been

:23:33. > :23:40.getting out and around the community, so it has been good for

:23:41. > :23:42.us, him coming home. Kenny Shiels says the club has two difficult

:23:43. > :23:47.assignments over the coming days and he says it is important to maintain

:23:48. > :23:49.momentum and keep up the challenge for that coveted European spot.

:23:50. > :23:52.There's a double-header of rugby at the Kingspan Stadium tonight.

:23:53. > :23:58.Ulster's A side are currently playing Canada A.

:23:59. > :24:00.They lead 43-38 with a few minutes remaining.

:24:01. > :24:03.At 7:30pm, the first team will take on Northampton Saints.

:24:04. > :24:06.It's the second weekend in a row that Les Kiss' team have had

:24:07. > :24:08.a warm-up match against an English side, following their 25-19 defeat

:24:09. > :24:24.They will be similar to Exeter, physical. A big pack. We are looking

:24:25. > :24:31.forward to the physical encounter. We are hoping that we can have the

:24:32. > :24:36.right things in place that make us know that what we have done last

:24:37. > :24:41.season is working for us. In order lose, it is about what we see in

:24:42. > :24:47.terms of attitude, physicality, certain methodologies. If some of

:24:48. > :24:49.those things come through, we have got a week to prepare for the big

:24:50. > :24:51.one at the Kingspan Stadium. Rower Joel Cassells will defend his

:24:52. > :24:53.world championship title in the men's lightweight pair final

:24:54. > :24:55.tomorrow in Rotterdam. Cassells and partner Sam Scrimegour,

:24:56. > :24:58.seen here winning last year, qualified fastest for the final

:24:59. > :25:00.and the Coleraine man, who missed out on a place

:25:01. > :25:03.in the Team GB Olympic squad, has a good chance of securing gold

:25:04. > :25:05.once more Meanwhile, Enniskillen's Holly Nixon

:25:06. > :25:07.will also be looking to get amongst the medals -

:25:08. > :25:10.she is in the crew for GB Nixon's final is around midday

:25:11. > :25:14.tomorrow - with Joel Cassells in action in his final

:25:15. > :25:16.an hour later. It's the Bank Holiday weekend

:25:17. > :25:22.and the end of the school holidays for many -

:25:23. > :25:33.let's see what weather's We have had some pretty good dry

:25:34. > :25:36.weather over the last few days. Some farmers have been making the most of

:25:37. > :25:42.it. Last night some of our weather watchers captured dramatic skies, as

:25:43. > :25:46.thunderstorms rolled up towards the north coast with some lightening.

:25:47. > :25:51.Some fierce looking lightning. There will be a few showers around this

:25:52. > :25:54.weekend. It is not going to be dry everywhere all the time but there

:25:55. > :25:59.will be a lot of dry weather. Saturday night may bring a few heavy

:26:00. > :26:04.showers but otherwise during the day, showers should be localised.

:26:05. > :26:09.Temperatures will still be pretty reasonable. Largely dried this

:26:10. > :26:13.evening. It will get quite cool in the countryside. Could drop as low

:26:14. > :26:19.as seven or eight Celsius. That could lead to a bit of mist and fog

:26:20. > :26:22.for a short time on Saturday morning. Otherwise a lot of dry and

:26:23. > :26:26.bright weather during the day. A few showers here and there. Probably

:26:27. > :26:31.likely across the West in the afternoon. Some high cloud

:26:32. > :26:37.developing but still quite dry and bright. Light winds. Southeast

:26:38. > :26:41.breeze. It will clearly -- feel warmer in the north coast.

:26:42. > :26:46.Temperatures could get up to 20 Celsius in parts of mid-Ulster. One

:26:47. > :26:53.to showers may be in the afternoon but if you are heading to Belsonic

:26:54. > :26:57.tomorrow it looks like it should be largely dry. However a Saturday

:26:58. > :27:01.night goes on during the early hours in particular, there will be some

:27:02. > :27:04.showers. A few in the West and one were too heavy or thundery showers

:27:05. > :27:11.near to the east coast during the early hours. They will move away

:27:12. > :27:15.quite quickly on Sunday morning. The breeze moves back into the North so

:27:16. > :27:21.a bit cooler there was that temperatures probably across parts

:27:22. > :27:28.of County Down. On Sunday afternoon it looks like it should be mostly

:27:29. > :27:32.fine. Small chance of a shower. The Jazz festival looking pretty good

:27:33. > :27:41.for a picnic. Eyeing holiday Monday, it stays dry which is great news. --

:27:42. > :27:43.Bank Holiday. That was BBC Newsline. Thank you for watching. Have a great

:27:44. > :27:44.weekend.
