:00:14. > :00:19.Greengrocer Harry Holland was stabbed to death nine years ago.

:00:20. > :00:23.The teenager who attacked him was sentenced to 12 years

:00:24. > :00:25.in jail and told there would be no remission.

:00:26. > :00:32.The daughters of Harry Holland remembering their late father.

:00:33. > :00:34.Mr Holland was brutally murdered in 2007.

:00:35. > :00:38.16-year-old Stephen McKee had stabbed him in the head

:00:39. > :00:40.with a screwdriver and left him to die on the pavement

:00:41. > :00:45.Nine years on and the family have been told that Stephen McKee

:00:46. > :00:49.is preparing for his release from jail.

:00:50. > :00:52.He's now eligible to begin a phased return to the community,

:00:53. > :01:04.Basically, they are breaking him back into the community again.

:01:05. > :01:10.This is a violent individual, very dangerous.

:01:11. > :01:17.He thought nothing of stabbing our dad in the street.

:01:18. > :01:19.If they are rehabilitated, they have that chance

:01:20. > :01:24.They need to carefully consider letting him back into the community

:01:25. > :01:26.again and certainly consider not letting him near our family.

:01:27. > :01:28.But Stephen McKee will be released and free to live

:01:29. > :01:31.Something the Holland family say is wrong.

:01:32. > :01:34.The fact that his murderers have never said sorry and just don't

:01:35. > :01:37.care hurts even more, and we have to accept that

:01:38. > :01:39.after serving nine years, he could be back out on the street.

:01:40. > :01:45.Our family have been let down by the justice system

:01:46. > :01:47.in every way possible, from the sentencing,

:01:48. > :01:49.right through to this bombshell that he will be out

:01:50. > :01:55.I have absolutely no faith in the justice system here.

:01:56. > :02:01.Talk us through how your lives have changed since his death.

:02:02. > :02:08.Every happy occasion, it is mixed with sadness.

:02:09. > :02:12.Our weddings, I got married and my sister got married

:02:13. > :02:21.You try to be happy, but it is there all the time.

:02:22. > :02:24.The sisters say that Stephen McKee might be moving on with his life,

:02:25. > :02:27.but they will never be able to move on with theirs.

:02:28. > :02:36.He could make someone else feel like this.

:02:37. > :02:41.I would hate anyone to feel the way I feel, for anyone

:02:42. > :02:49.We will take our life sentence to our grave.

:03:16. > :03:21.They were called to Great Victoria Street in the early hours

:03:22. > :03:24.of Thursday morning after a report that a man had become violent.

:03:25. > :03:29.It's understood the 36-year-old from the Short Strand had behaved

:03:30. > :03:31.erratically and was involved in disputes

:03:32. > :03:37.During the arrest, police used CS spray.

:03:38. > :03:40.In a statement, the man's family said they were grieving,

:03:41. > :03:48.The Police Ombudsman's office is continuing its investigation

:03:49. > :03:53.into the circumstances surrounding his detention.

:03:54. > :04:05.I will do everything I can to make this easier for them.

:04:06. > :04:08.I will make sure it is done speedily and the family can get

:04:09. > :04:13.The PSNI released a statement following Gerard McMahon's death, in

:04:14. > :04:17.which it passed on its condolences to the dead man's family.

:04:18. > :04:20.It added that they will fully cooperate with the Police

:04:21. > :04:32.It's more than 24 hours since Gerard McMahon's arrest

:04:33. > :04:34.The investigation into his death is continuing.
