:08:25. > :08:32.forecast here's Geoff Maskell. A fresh appeal to the weather today

:08:33. > :08:36.and that is certainly the theme as we go through the next few days. At

:08:37. > :08:40.clearing skies tonight, temperatures in rural spots could go down to five

:08:41. > :08:45.or 6 degrees. While Saturday gets after quite a bright start, it will

:08:46. > :08:50.be a little chilly. That says, Saturday morning has plenty of dry

:08:51. > :08:55.and bright weather and temperatures will rise quite nicely. Daytime

:08:56. > :09:00.highs of 16 or 17 degrees. In the afternoon, we will see a bit more

:09:01. > :09:04.cloud starting to develop and in the West, the breeze will start to pick

:09:05. > :09:11.up. The side of a bit of a change that is on the way. While Saturday

:09:12. > :09:15.is dry, Saturday night will start to see rain. On Saturday, we will of

:09:16. > :09:19.had some protection from this area of high pressure protecting us from

:09:20. > :09:22.these two lows. By Sunday, the single weight and it opens the door

:09:23. > :09:27.for this next weather fronts to come in. Across the water, still feeling

:09:28. > :09:30.the influence of that low over the continent bringing rain into the

:09:31. > :09:34.south-east corner of England. In a bright patch across Scotland Wales

:09:35. > :09:40.and south-west England and also to the eastern half of Northern

:09:41. > :09:42.Ireland. But come Sunday, all change. I'm very sorry if you're

:09:43. > :09:47.taking part in the Belfast half marathon, it could be a bit wet. But

:09:48. > :09:50.don't blame me, blame Ian, tropical storm Ian which is pepped up that

:09:51. > :09:54.weather fronts. Quick travel through the first half of the weekend but

:09:55. > :09:56.Sunday is going to be wet before things improve for the start of next

:09:57. > :09:56.week. Our next BBC Newsline

:09:57. > :10:00.is tomorrow evening at 5:25pm
