:04:06. > :04:07.There is a recognition right across the board

:04:08. > :04:09.that we need to tackle this and deliver better

:04:10. > :04:12.outcomes for people, that is the job for Government.

:04:13. > :04:15.The fact that not all of the money earmarked

:04:16. > :04:18.for waiting lists was spent where it should be will be of little comfort

:04:25. > :04:28.A letter from the Prime Minister in response to one from the First

:04:41. > :04:43.For more than six weeks, Stormont has been waiting and waiting

:04:44. > :04:50.Today, we learnt that letter has finally arrived but not everyone

:04:51. > :04:57.I would like you to rule on the issue of whether it is

:04:58. > :05:01.appropriate for important documents that will have influence on debates

:05:02. > :05:05.in this Chamber to be released to the Assembly first, rather

:05:06. > :05:08.than to The Stephen Nolan Show this morning, as was the letter

:05:30. > :05:31.Could you tell the people of Northern Ireland?

:05:32. > :05:44.I don't read your post, Stephen, and I don't read Sinead's so I wouldn't

:05:47. > :05:49.That letter from Theresa May arrived at Stormont on Friday but yet no-one

:05:53. > :05:54.yesterday as to why Northern Ireland should be given special status

:05:55. > :05:58.It definitely isn't good enough, Mr Speaker, to send a letter

:05:59. > :06:00.in August to the British Prime Minister and

:06:01. > :06:08.Little did he know that reply was sitting upstairs on a desk.

:06:09. > :06:12.Today the First Minister sought to clear up the confusion.

:06:13. > :06:27.We then had a discussion with the Secretary of State, but

:06:28. > :06:32.unfortunately for you there is no big mystery in all this.

:06:33. > :06:35.It is very straightforward and as I say it is now

:06:36. > :06:41.Much of it we have heard before, but we now have a commitment

:06:42. > :06:43.in writing from the Prime Minsiter to ensure the continued free

:06:44. > :06:46.movement of people and goods across the island of Ireland.

:06:47. > :06:48.But the opposition parties say they are less than impressed

:06:49. > :06:52.Whatever the circumstances of how this letter landed here at Stormont

:06:53. > :07:00.the fact is that it provides little comfort for those

:07:01. > :07:10.Arlene Foster and Martin McGuinness will be looking for a much more when

:07:30. > :07:32.an elder with the wider Presbyterian church,

:07:33. > :07:36.he will no longer be an influential member of Second Donegore.

:07:37. > :07:38.His support for same-sex marriage caused the rift and the congregation

:07:39. > :07:52.It's clear from his written statement that David Ford is upset

:07:53. > :07:57.at the downgrading of his position in the Presbyterian church, and it

:07:58. > :08:01.is also clear when he talks about for a difficult years that the

:08:02. > :08:05.conflict has been going on for some time, in spite of his appeal to the

:08:06. > :08:06.Presbyterian church's highest authority.

:08:07. > :08:09.People arriving for a bowling club were reluctant to comment,

:08:55. > :08:57.they'd received a letter from the council telling them.

:08:58. > :09:04.The problem is that not everyone received those letters.

:09:05. > :09:07.It's only because I listened to it on the radio this morning.

:09:08. > :09:10.Then it was on Facebook again yesterday.

:09:11. > :09:12.Did you receive anything from the council?

:09:13. > :09:22.I put ours out yesterday and it wasn't lifted.

:09:23. > :09:27.It's usually on a Monday that they come.

:10:01. > :10:03.We did rely on a contractor to do the letters.

:10:04. > :10:08.All that has fallen below our expectations.

:10:09. > :10:10.And a lot of people didn't get those letters.

:10:11. > :10:12.First and foremost, I want to apologise to

:10:13. > :10:22.We had mitigation in place, but this is much more significant.

:10:23. > :10:24.Now I give more assurance that we will

:11:52. > :11:59.We had a chilly wind blowing today, particularly gusty towards the north

:12:00. > :12:04.and north-east around the coast, where we had a few showers. The

:13:06. > :13:09.winds, similar temperatures to today that with a bit of sunshine it

:13:10. > :13:14.shouldn't feel as chilly and we're looking at a largely dry story.

:13:15. > :13:19.Through the rest of the week, apart from the risk of some patchy rain in

:13:20. > :13:23.the west on Friday, it's nothing largely dry with some sunshine,

:13:24. > :13:27.clear spells at night mean there's a risk of some and fog.
