:01:29. > :01:32.A walk-out by teachers from another union closed schools in Belfast

:01:33. > :01:44.Unions Warren have yet a pay freeze last year and a 1% rise this year

:01:45. > :01:46.but there is a split in how they have responded.

:01:47. > :01:48.The ATL have decided action short of a strike.

:01:49. > :01:51.ATL is a modern and reflective union.

:01:52. > :01:59.They have said that there are different ways of skinning a cat.

:02:00. > :02:05.First, noncooperation with the education and training

:02:06. > :02:09.Inspectorate which would apply to us.

:02:10. > :02:13.And the second part of industrial action would be targeting

:02:14. > :02:16.needless accountability and administration and bureaucracy.

:02:17. > :02:20.The education minister said that the strikes

:02:21. > :02:23.were not in the interest of children or teachers.

:02:24. > :02:31.But schools are set for more empty classrooms in January.

:02:32. > :02:36.The victim was attacked as he sat in his car outside a house

:02:37. > :02:40.in the Ronanstown area in the west of the city at tea-time.

:02:41. > :02:41.It's thought the shooting could be linked

:02:42. > :02:48.It's been reported the victim, who was 62 and originally

:02:49. > :02:51.from Dublin's north inner city, had links to the

:02:52. > :03:14.A man was shot dead. We believe in not -- a known gunman approached the

:06:49. > :06:51.and there would be improvements in car park facilities and shops

:07:03. > :07:05.The new owner is coming into a competitive environment

:07:06. > :07:09.with the city and Belfast international rivalling one another

:07:10. > :07:20.for airlines and flights to similar destinations.

:07:21. > :07:23.After a meeting of its board last night the Irish Football Association

:07:24. > :07:27.has decided to seek an urgent meeting with the president of Fifa.

:07:28. > :07:31.The World Governing body fined the local organisation nearly

:07:32. > :07:34.?12,000 for displays of poppies during a Northern Ireland

:07:35. > :07:38.Under Fifa's rules, the sanction cannot be appealed.

:08:42. > :08:46.because he saw that the IFA did all that they could.
