:00:23. > :00:31.Five people were trapped in this house when the fire broke out -

:00:32. > :00:37.including two brothers, 12-year-old Ben and 9-year-old Rhys.

:00:38. > :00:44.Today his father explained what happened.

:00:45. > :00:54.We tried to get it out, to put it out, but when I

:00:55. > :00:57.looked round I noticed the actual house was on fire so I said

:00:58. > :01:05.to the eldest son, Ben, get Rhys out while I deal with the fire.

:01:06. > :01:07.When I looked, the fire was too far gone.

:01:08. > :01:11.Ben kept saying, we need to get up the stairs and out.

:01:12. > :01:14.And then all of us got out onto the flat roof at the back.

:01:15. > :01:16.I was able to climb down and then Ben

:01:17. > :01:34.There were five lives there got out and no more.

:01:35. > :01:36.Young Rhys suffered third degree burns.

:01:37. > :01:39.He was in intensive care in hospital but his condition has now improved.

:01:40. > :01:42.The Boxing Day fire destroyed the ground floor of the house

:01:43. > :01:44.including most of the children's Christmas presents.

:01:45. > :01:46.Two days after the fire there is still the smell of smoke

:01:47. > :01:57.People in the area are shocked by what happened, but there

:01:58. > :02:00.that the outcome could have been much worse.

:02:01. > :02:04.A man's been rescued from the sea by lifeboat volunteers in Bangor.

:02:05. > :02:07.He's now in a stable condition in hospital.

:02:08. > :02:11.The alarm was raised by a council worker who heard faint shouts

:02:12. > :02:14.from the water at about 8:00am this morning.

:02:15. > :02:17.He called the Coastguard, and a lifeboat crew found the man

:02:18. > :02:23.barely conscious about 200 metres off shore in Ballyholme Bay.

:02:24. > :02:28.A colleague of mine drew me towards some shouting

:02:29. > :02:35.Initially we thought somebody had maybe fallen on the beach.

:02:36. > :02:37.When we came onto the beach we discovered

:02:38. > :02:42.One of our crew entered the water to take hold

:02:43. > :02:46.of him, to make sure he would not disappear from us.

:02:47. > :02:48.We manoeuvred the boat alongside and got him out of

:02:49. > :02:54.He was hypothermic and he was barely conscious, so getting

:02:55. > :03:01.him out of the water safely is a difficult task because such

:03:02. > :03:04.casualties are at risk of cardiac arrest.

:03:05. > :03:07.A man's been arrested by police officers investigating a hit and run

:03:08. > :03:09.incident in Crossmaglen early yesterday morning.

:03:10. > :03:13.A man in his 20s was struck in Cardinal O Fiaich Square -

:03:14. > :03:15.he's still in a critical condition in hospital.

:03:16. > :03:18.A car believed to have been involved in the incident was later

:03:19. > :03:24.The arrested man has been released on police bail.

:03:25. > :03:28.A service which supports people who are appealing their benefits

:03:29. > :03:32.decisions is losing its funding at the end of this week.

:03:33. > :03:36.The Belfast Citywide Tribunal Service was set up three years ago

:03:37. > :03:38.with money from the City Council and the Department

:03:39. > :03:48.Its chair says the loss of the service will have a severe impact.

:03:49. > :03:55.We're making an appeal for the Council and Department of

:03:56. > :03:58.communities and the Department of June Justice and the Government in

:03:59. > :04:03.general to recognise the value of this project and the severe value --

:04:04. > :04:07.impact of its absence should it not be funded. We are talking about a

:04:08. > :04:07.really extreme impact on a lot of people.

:04:46. > :04:52.Carers bring along their relatives, who can spend an hour or

:04:53. > :04:54.two socialising and reminiscing about songs they've grown to love

:04:55. > :05:11.Just want to make life better for people with dementia.

:05:12. > :05:15.We want to support people with dementia and help them live

:05:16. > :05:18.well with it because that we know they can.

:05:19. > :05:20.Oh, we were dancing to such beautiful music...

:05:21. > :05:32.The performances also pave the way forward is hoped will be a

:05:33. > :05:34.stress-free trip to the pantomime in the theatre itself.

:05:35. > :05:36.It has been proven that people suffering with

:05:37. > :05:43.These sessions allow them to interact with pantomime.

:05:44. > :05:49.It also allows them to be well aware of what is going to be happening

:05:50. > :05:51.when they come into a dimension friendly performance. It can be

:05:52. > :05:55.quite daunting for them to come into venue they are not used you for a

:05:56. > :05:58.performance so this makes it easier for them.

:05:59. > :06:00.For those living with dementia it has been an

:06:01. > :06:18.I can't go outside, on my own, you know?

:06:19. > :06:27.They don't treat you like you're some kind of...

:06:28. > :06:36.For everyone involved it is hoped the project will increase

:06:37. > :06:56.Hello it is a chilly night but many of us will avoid frosty conditions

:06:57. > :07:00.as temperatures are likely to stay at about four or 5 degrees. In

:07:01. > :07:05.countryside areas when the sky clears it will be chillier than

:07:06. > :07:08.that. Tomorrow, there will be plenty of high pressure keeping the dry

:07:09. > :07:12.weather going and the sunshine coming and going as well. To begin

:07:13. > :07:16.with there will be a good bit of cloud but it won't take long before

:07:17. > :07:20.that cloud begins to break up. If you are travelling first thing

:07:21. > :07:24.tomorrow there will be dense pockets of fog across England and into Wales

:07:25. > :07:33.which could cause problems in terms of travel. There is a dry stored and
