:01:15. > :01:17.I tried ringing the telephone number at the time. It went straight to the

:01:18. > :01:20.answer machine and there was no answer so I left it. The following

:01:27. > :01:30.her. She provided an e-mail address to everything from then on was done

:01:31. > :01:34.by e-mail, she told me the whole story about how she had worked in

:01:43. > :01:49.with when it was no use because it was irate handcart. But the car was

:01:50. > :01:56.-- -- because it was a right handcart. But the car never arrived

:01:57. > :02:05.with him. It's just devastating to lose that amount of money. It's very

:02:06. > :02:11.common, we've had for people who have lost money. Some people have

:02:12. > :02:21.been fortunate enough and canny enough not to go any further with

:02:22. > :02:29.the purchase because they have smelt a rat. the advice is if you're going

:02:30. > :02:30.to buy a second-hand car, make sure you see it and check it out first.

:02:31. > :02:34.In the arts, 2016 was a year in which we said goodbye to some

:02:35. > :02:36.notable local names in music, art and literature.

:02:37. > :02:47.Our arts correspondent Robbie Meredith takes a look back.

:03:20. > :03:22.He was a painter who was so deeply rooted in

:04:55. > :04:56.But what about East Belfast Ladies FC?

:04:57. > :04:59.Kelly Bonner went along to meet the team who are making

:05:00. > :05:14.It's a cold, wet, December evening but it hasn't put these women off

:05:15. > :05:18.coming to training to practice and pressure's on. We done the double

:05:19. > :05:23.last year, we want to go for the lead and more trophies issue. 18

:05:24. > :05:27.months ago, East Belfast ladies didn't even exist but now they're in

:05:28. > :05:33.the history books after their unbelievable double winning debut

:05:34. > :05:43.season. We wanted to go and see how we went on and we got to where we

:05:44. > :05:47.are now. I've played football for 22 years and my career was coming to an

:05:48. > :05:52.end. I thought my football was over and now we've gone and done a double

:05:53. > :05:57.and then making new friends, people I didn't know before -- I'm making

:05:58. > :06:04.new friends and some of the girls have command leaps and bounds.

:06:05. > :06:22.When they first started off, we took the few hammerings -- and a few. And

:06:23. > :06:23.there just followed naturally. East Belfast ladies are hoping for the

:06:24. > :06:26.same success in 2017. Let's get the weather

:06:27. > :06:41.now with Angie. Good evening. It is quite mild for

:06:42. > :06:45.the last few days of 2016 before turning chilly into January but the

:06:46. > :06:47.breeze is picking up at the moment and through tonight it is going to

:06:48. > :06:52.be bringing more in the way of cloud. It's still mainly dry and

:06:53. > :06:56.because we have that blanket of cloud overhead, it should stay

:06:57. > :07:00.frost-free, temperatures no lower than six or seven Celsius. Into

:07:01. > :07:04.tomorrow, a cloudy, breezy day more so than today, still mainly dry, but

:07:05. > :07:10.I wouldn't be surprised as you require becoming sick enough to give

:07:11. > :07:13.a few patches of drizzle mainly towards the west, otherwise it is

:07:14. > :07:17.dry, but we do have windier weather across the north of Scotland into

:07:18. > :07:22.the northwest of Scotland. Elsewhere, apart from the odd shower

:07:23. > :07:26.to western coast, it is mainly dry, may be a few dry intervals to the

:07:27. > :07:31.East Coast and one or two patches of fog when it stays chilly. Elsewhere,

:07:32. > :07:33.a lot of cloud but also a bit milder, particularly the further

:07:34. > :07:37.north and west Europe. It looks like a milder day for Northern Ireland in

:07:38. > :07:42.the afternoon, temp just higher than today at 11 or 12 Celsius. Still a

:07:43. > :07:45.fair amount of cloud and breeze so not much in the way of sunshine.

:07:46. > :07:48.That takes us into New Year's Eve and changes on the way, we have the

:07:49. > :07:53.weather front living in and the isobars gathering, which means

:07:54. > :08:01.increasing winter so it will become quite windy on New Year's Eve. A dry

:08:02. > :08:05.start, perhaps bright spells, milder head of the rain, temperatures at

:08:06. > :08:09.1011 Celsius but the rain moves in from the northwest to the afternoon

:08:10. > :08:12.and into the evening. All there for many of us, clearing out of the way

:08:13. > :08:16.by the time we get to the midnight celebrations. Behind the rain, we

:08:17. > :08:20.have cold, arctic air coming in from the north so it's times chillier for

:08:21. > :08:21.New Year's day and the start of next week. Brighter with a few wintry

:08:22. > :08:21.showers. Our next BBC Newsline

:08:22. > :08:25.is at 6:25 in the morning You can also keep updated

:08:26. > :08:29.with News Online.
