:00:19. > :00:20.Her father, Christopher O'Neill, from the Whiterock Road in west

:00:21. > :00:22.Belfast, was charged with her murder.

:00:23. > :00:24.Today a jury at Craigavon Crown Court sitting in Armagh

:00:25. > :00:37.Throughout the four-week trial, Christopher O'Neill denied any

:00:38. > :00:39.suggestion that he'd harmed Caragh, saying that

:00:40. > :00:49.The 26-year-old from West Belfast was accused of killing his

:00:50. > :00:52.three-month-old baby daughter by shaking her violently

:00:53. > :00:54.whilst in a rage at her home in February 2014.

:00:55. > :00:57.During the trial, he said that he had shaken her,

:00:58. > :01:00.trying to revive her, he thought she was dying.

:01:01. > :01:12.Baby Caragh died in hospital two days later.

:01:13. > :01:23.In Craigavon Crown Court, the jury of ten men and one woman

:01:24. > :01:25.found by majority verdict of at least ten to one he was not

:01:26. > :01:34.In the gallery behind him, the baby's mother stood up

:01:35. > :01:38.and shouted, you killed my baby, my baby is dead because of you.

:01:39. > :01:40.She was led from the court room with her family.

:01:41. > :01:43.Still in the dock, Mr O'Neill put his head in his hands.

:01:44. > :01:46.When the judge said he was free to leave, his family applauded

:01:47. > :01:48.and hugged him and said, we love you.

:01:49. > :01:50.Mr O'Neill's solicitor said it had been a difficult

:01:51. > :01:58.A coroner has criticised police for failing to find a young man

:01:59. > :02:02.who died after going missing from a mental-health unit.

:02:03. > :02:04.His body was found ten weeks later close to the unit

:02:05. > :02:10.22-year-old James Fenton, from Bangor, had been identified

:02:11. > :02:13.as "high-risk" after telling staff he wanted to kill himself.

:02:14. > :02:26.The family of James Fenton at the coroner's court this afternoon

:02:27. > :02:29.for what marked the end of long, difficult and at times

:02:30. > :02:37.It's been a horrendously long road, not just for a few months, but

:02:38. > :02:42.22-year-old James Fenton went missing from Ward 27

:02:43. > :02:45.at the Mental Health Unit in early July 2010.

:02:46. > :02:50.And police were called in to search the grounds

:02:51. > :02:55.They failed to find the missing man, whose body was discovered

:02:56. > :02:56.less than 40 metres from the Mental Health

:02:57. > :03:01.The coroner was very critical of the police response when James

:03:02. > :03:15.Fenton went missing from the mental health unit.

:03:16. > :03:37.A police ombudsman report was also critical of how the case

:03:38. > :03:39.was handled and 12 officers were subsequently disciplined.

:03:40. > :03:42.The PSNI has since changed its policy and practices on missing

:03:43. > :03:44.persons as a direct result of the Fenton case.

:03:45. > :03:47.The coroner described the actions of the hospital staff at the time

:03:48. > :03:50.But he had harder words for the PSNI.

:03:51. > :03:52.Joe McCrisken said consideration should have been given

:03:53. > :03:54.to a police dog search, which may have led to Mr Fenton

:03:55. > :03:57.being found shortly after he'd absconded.

:03:58. > :04:00.He described this was a major failing that could have prevented

:04:01. > :04:02.the prolonged trauma suffered by the family.

:04:03. > :04:04.Today, the PSNI issued a wholehearted apology to the Fenton

:04:05. > :04:06.family for the police failings in this case.

:04:07. > :04:24.They have changed how to search for a missing person but they cannot

:04:25. > :04:25.make the excuse of not enough funding for

:04:26. > :04:27.mental health, things have to change.

:04:28. > :04:29.How many more people have to lose their lives?

:04:30. > :04:31.The coroner found that, due to advanced decomposition,

:04:32. > :04:33.the cause of James Fenton's death was unascertainable,

:04:34. > :04:36.although it was his view that the young man died

:04:37. > :04:38.shortly after he climbed over the gate and absconded from

:04:39. > :04:41.the Ulster Hospital's Mental Health Unit.

:05:24. > :05:26.She told my husband she had full Alzheimer's,

:05:27. > :05:29.was like a baby, and was better to go out and run around traffic.

:05:30. > :05:32.Plans by the Health Minister, Michelle O'Neill, to tackle hospital

:05:33. > :05:35.waiting lists have been criticised by the DUP leader, Arlene Foster.

:05:36. > :05:39.In a letter, Mrs Foster responded to Minister O'Neill's

:05:40. > :05:42.?31 million plan to treat patients who have been

:05:43. > :05:47.The DUP leader accused Sinn Fein of electioneering.

:05:48. > :05:50.But Sinn Fein hit back, saying the DUP were trying to deflect

:05:51. > :05:57.A County Antrim man says he's been left in shock,

:05:58. > :05:59.after a slurry tank crashed through a wall into his front

:06:43. > :06:44.tractor and slurry tank involved in the crash were removed.

:06:45. > :06:47.Oil also had to be cleaned up, but the road has reopened.
