:00:17. > :00:19.It's understood a house party may have been taking place.

:00:20. > :00:28.His death has left his family grieving a son and brother.

:00:29. > :00:32.His body was found here shortly after lunchtime yesterday.

:00:33. > :00:38.An ambulance crew was called to the scene at around 2pm.

:00:39. > :00:39.Within an hour the police were there.

:00:40. > :00:41.Forensics tests followed, continuing into last night.

:00:42. > :00:46.This morning the scene remained sealed off.

:00:47. > :00:49.As police investigations continue into the death of Paul Curran

:00:50. > :00:53.detectives are trying to find out who was on this house at Manor Drive

:00:54. > :00:55.around lunchtime yesterday, what happened and how did

:00:56. > :01:00.Throughout the local community in Lurgan today,

:01:01. > :01:03.shock as well as support for the family.

:01:04. > :01:14.It is a tragedy for the family, a tragedy for anyone who knew Paul.

:01:15. > :01:17.We can only offer our sincere sympathies and prayers

:01:18. > :01:23.for the family to come to terms with this.

:01:24. > :01:28.When it becomes yesterday's news, unfortunately the families have to

:01:29. > :01:29.live with the aftermath, and like any bereavement,

:01:30. > :01:40.lined with bungalows, mostly housing elderly

:01:41. > :01:45.This morning the residents were witnessing the second day

:01:46. > :01:49.of a murder investigation in the normally quiet neighbourhood.

:01:50. > :01:52.In another part of the town not far from here, the family

:01:53. > :02:04.A building contractor who failed to properly equip or instruct two

:02:05. > :02:08.employees who later fell from a roof has been given a suspended sentence.

:02:09. > :02:10.One of the two workers, who was Bulgarian,

:02:11. > :02:17.Speaking outside court today, his daughter said

:02:18. > :02:22.Our reporter in the South-East Gordon Adair has more.

:02:23. > :02:24.Petyo Hristanov and a colleague were fitting corrugated tin sheets

:02:25. > :02:27.to the roof of a shed at this farm near Portadown when

:02:28. > :02:37.They were employed by this man, Norman McKenzie from Dungannon.

:02:38. > :02:40.He was on-site at the time and had lifted the men

:02:41. > :02:44.But he had not provided the men with any safety

:02:45. > :02:51.No scaffolding or safety net or elevated platform or harnesses.

:02:52. > :02:54.Neither had he carried out a risk assessment were briefing.

:02:55. > :02:56.An already dangerous situation which was made worse

:02:57. > :03:02.Mr Hristanov started to slide first from the roof,

:03:03. > :03:14.His workmate grabbed his arm, but couldn't stop him,

:03:15. > :03:18.Thankfully his workmate's injuries were not serious.

:03:19. > :03:19.Norman Mackenzie was given a 15-month sentence,

:03:20. > :03:21.suspended for three years, and ?3,000 in fines.

:03:22. > :03:23.The judge said this sort of haphazard approach

:03:24. > :03:26.to safety had to be tackled, a view echoed by the victim's daughter,

:03:27. > :03:30.We are losing a father and grandfather and he just went

:03:31. > :03:42.I don't wish that to happen to any other family, so, please,

:03:43. > :03:45.do what you have to do and get all the safety for people

:03:46. > :04:04.cheapest price and everybody wants to do the job for as cheap as they

:04:05. > :04:09.Health and safety costs money but it saves lives.

:04:10. > :04:11.We have reached a stage where surely ?1100 in this

:04:12. > :04:13.case could have saved this gentleman's life.

:04:14. > :04:29.A County Tyrone man convicted of the serious sexual exploitation

:04:30. > :04:33.of children has been freed today, after being sentenced to time he has

:04:34. > :04:39.39-year-old Michael Dynes targeted young people through webchats

:04:40. > :04:41.and online advertisements seeking life models.

:04:42. > :04:49.Michael Dynes arrived in court crouched in the back of a car.

:04:50. > :04:54.He posed online as a "casting agent" for professional models.

:04:55. > :04:56.He would then "audition" them by webcam and try to incite them

:04:57. > :05:01.As well as adults, he also targeted children to engage

:05:02. > :05:03.in sexual activity - some of those he groomed

:05:04. > :05:09.He was arrested in an operation involving the National Crime Agency.

:05:10. > :05:11.An examination of his computers revealed more than 1,000

:05:12. > :05:13.indecent images of children, as well as voyeuristic videos

:05:14. > :05:20.from cameras hidden in a bedroom and a workplace kitchen.

:05:21. > :05:24.Michael Dynes pleaded guilty to 41 sex charges.

:05:25. > :05:30.The court was told he had lost his job, his marriage and his house.

:05:31. > :05:33.The judge told him, the offences have effectively ruined your life -

:05:34. > :05:40.He added, the images of children were real-life children who had been

:05:41. > :05:49.In a statement, NCA Branch Commander Rob Burgess said,

:05:50. > :05:51.I believe Michael Dynes to be a predatory and manipulative abuser

:05:52. > :05:55.He went to great lengths to exploit his victims

:05:56. > :06:04.The judge sentenced Dynes to three years and one month,

:06:05. > :06:06.with the period in custody to reflect the 14 months already

:06:07. > :06:11.allowing him to be released on licence.

:06:12. > :06:14.The judge said the public would be better protected by extending

:06:15. > :06:16.the supervised licence period for Dynes to undergo the full course

:06:17. > :06:19.of treatment he needed, instead of returning him to prison

:06:20. > :06:23.He was also put on the sex offenders' register for life.
