:02:04. > :02:12.I was here last week with my daughter, and if it wasn't for them,

:02:13. > :02:24.While the Trust is at pains to point out it is a last resort,

:02:25. > :02:27.it is cold comfort to those who may have to travel to Craigavon

:02:28. > :02:30.Meanwhile it's also emerged that a quarter of all radiologists' posts

:03:03. > :03:09.And the wait is really, really frustrating.

:03:10. > :03:13.It is a standard procedure, it is something that should be done,

:03:14. > :03:19.a couple of days' recovery and you are checked out.

:03:20. > :03:22.While cancer patients rely heavily on surgeons to remove the cancer,

:03:23. > :03:25.they depend on radiologists to detect it.

:03:26. > :03:27.At the moment though those specialists are in short supply

:03:28. > :03:32.In fact the BBC has learned that approximately 40

:03:33. > :03:35.posts remain unfilled across the five health trusts.

:03:36. > :03:39.According to the Health and Social Care board,

:03:40. > :04:07.this is despite multiple attempts to recruit doctors.

:04:08. > :04:09.Radiology is a very important area for the diagnosis

:04:10. > :04:20.And if there are delays in the radiologists' workload,

:04:21. > :04:27.then we are causing a backlog of patients to be treated.

:04:28. > :04:28.The latest cancer waiting times show some improvement,

:04:29. > :04:32.but the targets continue to be missed.

:04:33. > :04:35.And all of this is compounded by Northern Ireland,

:08:04. > :08:10.Now, with the weather forecast, here's Angie Phillips.

:08:11. > :08:17.Still quite mild at the moment. Some parts of the north and West saw 16

:08:18. > :08:22.degrees. That sparked off showers in places. They will fade away for a

:08:23. > :08:26.time but it is still unsettled tonight with another batch of rain

:08:27. > :08:30.moving in later tonight across parts of the South and East. With the

:08:31. > :08:38.cloud cover mild temperatures generally. Tomorrow something

:08:39. > :08:43.brighter. Not a great start however. Grey, lots of cloud. Pretty wet in

:08:44. > :08:48.places particularly for Central and Eastern areas. The persistence of

:08:49. > :08:53.that rain is likely to read to surface water and spray that things

:08:54. > :08:58.will lighten up, late morning into early afternoon. In the meantime

:08:59. > :09:02.that rain moves off to affect Scotland. For England and Wales it

:09:03. > :09:10.is a show at the picture. Cloudy to begin with. That's quite beating up

:09:11. > :09:14.to give spills of sunshine. Towards the West and other batch of cloud

:09:15. > :09:18.and rain moving in across the Republic of Ireland. After a drier

:09:19. > :09:22.and brighter start it will be a cloudier and wetter end to the day.

:09:23. > :09:27.This time the West sees the bulk of that rain moving in. A wet end to

:09:28. > :09:32.the day in the West after a wet start to the day in the East. Still

:09:33. > :09:36.miles. Surely conditions carry on through tomorrow night until the

:09:37. > :09:38.start of Saturday at least. Becomes cooler on Saturday night. Not

:09:39. > :09:39.looking too bad on Sunday. Our next BBC Newsline
