:00:24. > :00:32.Mr Gilmore died after he was shot in Carrickfergus in March.

:00:33. > :00:35.Two months on, Colin Horner could be the latest victim

:00:36. > :00:40.The 35-year-old was gunned down in this Sainsbury's

:00:41. > :00:43.car park which was busy with shoppers yesterday afternoon.

:00:44. > :00:48.Flowers have been left close to the spot he was killed.

:00:49. > :00:50.Police say a possible link to the loyalist feud

:00:51. > :00:52.in Carrickfergus is one line of inquiry.

:00:53. > :00:54.There were at least three shots fired, we know that.

:00:55. > :00:56.It was a completely reckless act in a public car park

:00:57. > :01:04.His three-year-old son was in the car and was immediately

:01:05. > :01:12.beside his car when he was shot dead in front of him.

:01:13. > :01:16.Detectives want to trace the movements of Mr Horner's black

:01:17. > :01:18.Nissan Pulsar between 1:30pm and 2:30pm on Sunday.

:01:19. > :01:22.There's another vehicle we are interested in that was seen

:01:23. > :01:26.leaving the Balloo Link area immediately after the shooting,

:01:27. > :01:32.immediately adjacent to the car park, a red Ford Mondeo this car

:01:33. > :01:41.GKZ 7996 but we know they were false plates on this vehicle.

:01:42. > :01:45.Police believe the gunman's vehicle was brought here

:01:46. > :01:46.to Kerr's Road before it was set alight.

:01:47. > :01:49.Police are here today, conducting an operation.

:01:50. > :01:53.We also know that the gunman and probably at least one other

:01:54. > :01:56.associate must have then got away from Kerrs Road so there's probably

:01:57. > :02:00.another vehicle here so my appeal to the public is if anyone saw

:02:01. > :02:10.of the vehicle being burnt out or waiting in the area

:02:11. > :02:13.my appeal is for them to come forward and give

:02:14. > :02:16.It's understood police will maintain a presence in the Bangor area

:02:17. > :02:24.A 40-year-old man has been charged with last Friday's murder

:02:25. > :02:31.He's due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

:02:34. > :02:37.Marjorie and Michael Cawdery were both aged 83.

:02:38. > :02:43.They lived on the outskirts of Portadown.

:02:44. > :02:47.On Friday afternoon they were found dead by relatives.

:02:48. > :02:51.An intruder had broken into their home.

:02:52. > :02:54.It's believed the elderly couple were stabbed.

:02:55. > :03:01.There are a lot of elderly people in the area and

:03:02. > :03:07.People have never experienced anything like that round here so it

:03:08. > :03:15.The family are absolutely devastated, which is understandable.

:03:16. > :03:23.Marjorie and Michael were both quiet and reserved people.

:03:24. > :03:28.They were not into the public end of things.

:03:29. > :03:32.The rest of the family will be similar to that.

:03:33. > :03:35.For them it is just trying to deal with this horrific act

:03:36. > :03:53.A 40-year-old man was arrested on Friday afternoon.

:03:54. > :03:56.The family of the elderly couple released a statement in which they

:03:57. > :03:59.described what happened on Friday afternoon as incomprehensible.

:04:00. > :04:01.They thanked everyone who had offered

:04:02. > :04:10.A man and a woman escaped serious injury when their light aircraft

:04:11. > :04:13.came down in County Down later this afternoon.

:04:14. > :04:17.The emergency services were called to Castlewellan Forest Park

:04:18. > :04:20.where they found the pilot and passenger who had managed to get

:04:21. > :04:31.The pair were examined by paramedics and discharged.

:04:32. > :04:34.A man's appeared in court charged with attempted murder in Antrim

:04:35. > :04:38.He's also charged with slashing at two women.

:04:39. > :04:55.The incident took place shortly before 7am on Saturday morning. A

:04:56. > :04:59.man was stabbed five times. He witnesses said one police wind

:05:00. > :05:11.pictured the victim's chest close to his heart.

:05:12. > :05:15.Paul Catherwood of Rathlin Island -- Les Byrne was in court. He is

:05:16. > :05:20.charged with action in bodily harm and position of an offensive weapon.

:05:21. > :05:25.He's solicitor said he was acting in self defence at the house party near

:05:26. > :05:29.the home will be relative. A detective constable told the court

:05:30. > :05:35.that the incident was aggravated by alcohol and an element of

:05:36. > :05:37.sectarianism. Bail was refused and he was remanded in custody.

:05:38. > :05:42.A 17-year-old boy accused of rape has been denied bail.

:05:43. > :05:46.The teenager, whose name can't be given because of his age,

:05:47. > :05:50.is charged with four counts of rape and six counts of sexual assault.

:05:51. > :05:54.The alleged attack is said to have happened in the Black Mountain area

:05:55. > :05:57.The police said he's also being investigated over a separate

:05:58. > :06:02.A disabled motorist was dragged from his car and assaulted

:06:03. > :06:07.He flagged down by two men in the Sixmilecross area

:06:08. > :06:13.They drove off in the car which was later found crashed.

:06:14. > :06:15.The police say the victim, who uses crutches, made his way,

:06:16. > :06:20.with some difficulty, to a nearby house to get help.

:06:32. > :06:35.but BA say two thirds of passengers will have reached their destination

:06:36. > :06:40.One passenger who was supposed to fly back to Belfast on

:06:41. > :06:43.a BA flight on Saturday only managed to get home this evening.

:08:02. > :08:07.But every spring and summer the population explodes as tens of

:08:08. > :08:13.thousands of sea birds come ashore to nest.

:08:14. > :08:16.The spectacle will attract 20,000 visitors this year alone.

:08:17. > :08:24.Volunteers come to the island for different reasons but they come from

:08:25. > :08:33.Really getting down to the core and essential things of life.

:08:34. > :08:39.Getting away from the busy metropolitan area I live in.

:08:40. > :08:46.Since I was nine years old I have been bird-watching but usually I

:08:47. > :08:49.would be the last one on a walk, I would be at the back.

:08:50. > :08:55.Rathlin Island is famous for its puffins but many other

:08:56. > :09:04.There were no guilimots here yesterday but now

:09:05. > :09:09.It will become even more tightly packed over the coming days

:09:10. > :09:14.and then in ten weeks they will all be gone.

:09:15. > :09:17.The birds are the stars of the show but some volunteers find other

:09:18. > :09:20.reasons to fall in love with Rathlin Island.

:09:21. > :09:23.The lighthouse has become renowned for being an opportunity

:09:24. > :09:33.Girl volunteers have come over to work with the RSPB and have

:09:34. > :09:41.partnered up with island men so it is a very romantic place.

:09:42. > :09:43.This is the island's resident married couple.

:09:44. > :09:47.I've been interested in wildlife since I was a small child.

:09:48. > :09:50.The thing I like about the birds is that they are literally everywhere.

:09:51. > :09:54.It doesn't matter if you're out in the countryside or on a fantastic

:09:55. > :09:58.colony like this or in the middle of the city, there is always

:09:59. > :10:05.The RSPB needs more volunteers before breeding season is out.

:10:06. > :10:14.They're hoping that they will get more helpers home to roost.
