:00:13. > :00:18.Last month, a Parades Commission ruling banned it from passing

:00:19. > :00:24.In the days leading up to this parade, there were concerns about

:00:25. > :00:26.violence around the protest, because of incidents

:00:27. > :00:33.The organisers had this to say before it

:00:34. > :00:48.Hundreds were joined by four Republican bands for

:00:49. > :00:51.the march, which the protesters say was about highlighting the continued

:00:52. > :00:57.We have Republicans from different counties

:00:58. > :00:59.arrested and remanded for two years and after that,

:01:00. > :01:06.serious strict conditions and curfews.

:01:07. > :01:08.Once it gets to the courts, there is no answer, so that is

:01:09. > :01:14.As the parade made its way through West Belfast

:01:15. > :01:17.toward the lower Falls Road and city centre, police units were preparing

:01:18. > :01:27.to block the route in line with the Parade Commission's determination.

:01:28. > :01:29.At the police line, there were speeches by

:01:30. > :01:31.groups supporting the hub of dissident Republican prisoners.

:01:32. > :01:35.The crowd then dispersed without incident.

:01:36. > :01:37.A man in his forties who was being questioned by gardai

:01:38. > :01:41.in connection with the murder of Denis Donaldson

:01:42. > :01:44.The former Sinn Fein official was shot dead in April

:01:45. > :01:47.2006 at a remote cottage in County Donegal shortly after it

:01:48. > :01:52.had been revealed that he'd been working for the police and MI5.

:01:53. > :01:55.It's day two of the Olympic Games in Rio and the first

:01:56. > :01:57.of Northern Ireland's boxers has been in action.

:01:58. > :02:05.It's been a difficult start to the Olympics for Ireland's boxers

:02:06. > :02:13.But today, the focus was very much inside the ring as

:02:14. > :02:21.Steven Donnelly made his Olympic debut in a welterweight division.

:02:22. > :02:24.Walking to the ring for the biggest moment of his career.

:02:25. > :02:27.This was Steven Donnelly's first Olympic

:02:28. > :02:30.experience and he was determined to enjoy it.

:02:31. > :02:32.The Ballymena man settled quickly into the fight against his

:02:33. > :02:40.He triumphed in round one and never looked back.

:02:41. > :02:45.Eventually he got a unanimous decision from all three judges.

:02:46. > :02:50.There was big pressure on my shoulders coming into the

:02:51. > :02:54.I came away with the win and I couldn't be happier.

:02:55. > :02:58.I definitely was, it was my debut, anybody would be nervous

:02:59. > :03:00.walking out in front of all these people.

:03:01. > :03:02.Northern Ireland comes watching expecting you to win.

:03:03. > :03:05.The pressure was there and I can only

:03:06. > :03:22.In hockey, Team GB's match against New Zealand has just ended.

:03:23. > :03:26.The team features Northern Irish players as does Team Ireland,

:03:27. > :03:33.which is currently in action against the Netherlands.

:03:34. > :03:38.A look ahead now to a story we'll have this week on BBC Newsline.

:03:39. > :03:41.Since the Brexit vote, there's been a rise in the number of

:03:42. > :03:43.Unionists deciding to get Irish passports.

:03:44. > :03:47.So for them, just how difficult a decision was it?

:03:48. > :03:53.My father would not be pleased if he was still alive.

:03:54. > :04:03.But I'm from Larne, a lot of my friends and relatives

:04:04. > :04:06.are, and some of them will be happy about it and some won't, and some

:04:07. > :04:08.will be doing exactly the same thing.

:04:09. > :04:11.You can see more on that on BBC Newsline this week here on BBC One.

:04:12. > :04:14.Just time now to see what's happening on the weather front.

:04:15. > :04:23.We start of the weekend on a warm and humid note and they will feel

:04:24. > :04:26.fresher this week with winds coming from the North West and there will

:04:27. > :04:34.be quite brisk and unsettled through the middle the week. There will also

:04:35. > :04:37.be spells of rain. After a brief respite this evening, further

:04:38. > :04:41.showers are coming into night accompanied by a blustery wind. It

:04:42. > :04:46.could be gale force on parts of the coast. Late in the night, showers is

:04:47. > :04:51.off and temperatures drop to between 11 and 30 degrees. A bit less humid

:04:52. > :04:56.than last night. Tomorrow, a bright and breezy day coming up. Still if

:04:57. > :05:03.you showers, mostly in the morning, and they will ease off. It still

:05:04. > :05:07.breezy ramparts on the coast. Still some pretty strong winds for parts

:05:08. > :05:11.of Scotland, severe gales which could be quite disruptive and

:05:12. > :05:16.accompanied by showery spells. Elsewhere across the country, bright

:05:17. > :05:19.spells and shattered showers. Good dry and bright spells in between the

:05:20. > :05:24.showers, quite warm in the south with temperatures in the low 20s.

:05:25. > :05:29.Coming back to Northern Ireland for the afternoon, by then, mostly

:05:30. > :05:32.showers will be fading away so we bilby decent spells of St John,

:05:33. > :05:35.breezy around the coast when it will feel quite fresh and I think towards

:05:36. > :05:39.the south, it will feel pleasant enough in the sunshine at around 80

:05:40. > :05:44.degrees. We hold onto those north-westerly winds through the

:05:45. > :05:48.week, with high pressure to the West. President Hollande try and

:05:49. > :05:53.trundle around the edge of that high and they are confined to northern

:05:54. > :05:58.Scotland and elsewhere, a of dry weather, just the odd shower and

:05:59. > :06:02.feeling warmer toward the south with highs of 22 degrees. As we head into

:06:03. > :06:07.Wednesday, that weather front sinks southwards and that will bring a wet

:06:08. > :06:11.day for Northern Ireland, England and Wales. Dry in the North West,

:06:12. > :06:16.feeling fresh and temperatures the average toward the south. Thursday

:06:17. > :06:19.not as wet as Wednesday, but still some rain in.
