:00:08. > :00:12.A man is in a critical condition in hospital

:00:13. > :00:15.The incident happened in Britton's Parade,

:00:16. > :00:18.near the Whiterock Road, shortly after 9.00pm last night.

:00:19. > :00:27.Irishman Kevin Mallon, who was arrested in Brazil over

:00:28. > :00:28.alleged illegal ticket sales at the Olympic Games,

:00:29. > :00:34.Mr Mallon was released from Bangu prison just after 2.00am

:00:35. > :00:39.The Dublin-based director of THG Sports was arrested on the day

:00:40. > :00:42.of the Olympics' opening ceremony three weeks ago.

:00:43. > :00:45.As part of his bail conditions, Mr Mallon must stay in Brazil

:00:46. > :00:53.He must also alert authorities as to his whereabouts

:00:54. > :00:58.and is banned from any Olympic or Paralympic venue.

:00:59. > :01:01.The Belfast branch of BHS closed its doors for the last time

:01:02. > :01:04.today, ending a presence in the city's Castle Lane which goes

:01:05. > :01:10.Our reporter, Will Leitch, was there to see it close.

:01:11. > :01:18.It was a time for the very last bargains on the very last day of

:01:19. > :01:25.business. I hope you get good jobs. Even the

:01:26. > :01:31.plastic coat hangers were up for grabs. BHS opened in Belfast in 19

:01:32. > :01:35.1965. In the following decades it survived the very worst of the

:01:36. > :01:38.Troubles. The store was bombed several times. Today there was

:01:39. > :01:45.sadness from shoppers calling in one last time. . It is a bit of an end

:01:46. > :01:49.of an e-Rachel I used to shop there years ago for my children's clothes.

:01:50. > :01:54.It was brilliant. The staff were wonderful. It is so sad that the

:01:55. > :01:58.management have messed up. At BHS in Belfast, as at the other stores

:01:59. > :02:02.across Northern Ireland, the doors have now closed for the very last

:02:03. > :02:07.time. It means less choice for shoppers. It also means real worries

:02:08. > :02:10.about jobs and pensions for many staff.

:02:11. > :02:14.! We don't know because the company has obviously gone into liquidation,

:02:15. > :02:19.what is the result with regards to the redundancy. When will they get

:02:20. > :02:23.it? But more concerning to us is what is happening with their

:02:24. > :02:27.pensions. Despite all the uncertainty, after closing, those on

:02:28. > :02:29.duty today chose to remember the end of an era and the better times

:02:30. > :02:35.they'd had together. Thousands of people have

:02:36. > :02:41.attended the Belfast Mela It was a celebration of cultural

:02:42. > :02:52.diversity for all the family Food, fashion, fancy footwork and

:02:53. > :02:58.fun. Just a taster of what was on the

:02:59. > :03:01.menu at this year's Belfast Mela festival. Visitors attending the

:03:02. > :03:07.event were treated to the sights, sounds and smells of the world as

:03:08. > :03:12.countries from across the globe showcased their wares. Where else

:03:13. > :03:18.would you be on a sunny Sunday afternoon. It is fantastic. Botanic

:03:19. > :03:22.Gardens rocks. It is amazing to see many cultures together. Such lovely

:03:23. > :03:26.weather and the vibe ran sane the fact that everybody can have a good

:03:27. > :03:30.time together. The Mela has been running for ten years and it is

:03:31. > :03:35.stronger than ever. We are hoping to continue to grow the festival as it

:03:36. > :03:38.has been growing over the last ten years and bring more cultures and

:03:39. > :03:42.traditions into the park here for more and more people to come and

:03:43. > :03:46.enonline understand and feel part of Northern Ireland and part of the

:03:47. > :03:50.fabric of our country here. But while fun in the sun became too much

:03:51. > :03:57.for some, others took time to enjoy the flowers.

:03:58. > :03:59.A look ahead now to a story coming up this week on BBC Newsline.

:04:00. > :04:01.And as children go back to school, we've been asking

:04:02. > :04:06.you about the price of school uniform.

:04:07. > :04:17.Working it out, ?600 per child. And that's not even a couple of pound

:04:18. > :04:20.here or there. It is ?600 roughly, per child.

:04:21. > :04:28.We're hoping that the sun will come out again tomorrow,

:04:29. > :04:37.Not too bad a bank holiday weekend and it stays dry, however we have

:04:38. > :04:40.clear gaps in the sky which means it will be chilly in some countryside

:04:41. > :04:45.areas with temperatures dipping into the mid-figures. Most towns and

:04:46. > :04:49.cities, closer to double figures, but still, prepare yourself for a

:04:50. > :04:53.bit of a chill if you are out and about. As for bank holiday Monday,

:04:54. > :04:58.largely dry but more cloud around than there was today. To begin with,

:04:59. > :05:01.good gaps, sunny spells and the winds will stay light. Eventually

:05:02. > :05:09.the cloud will roll in from the Atlantic. However, ahead of it, if

:05:10. > :05:14.you are heading towards the north coast for the Auld Lammas fair

:05:15. > :05:20.atably castle, it may turn a git grey and some spots of drizzle.

:05:21. > :05:24.If you are travelling across Ireland, a few spots of weather

:05:25. > :05:27.coming into western counties. Lots of sunshine for many areas of

:05:28. > :05:31.Britain and temperatures will reach the mid-20s towards the south-east.

:05:32. > :05:35.Towards the end of the day as a weak weather front comes in from the

:05:36. > :05:39.Atlantic, some wet weather across the north coast but the bulk of rain

:05:40. > :05:43.will head towards western Scotland later on in the day. For us

:05:44. > :05:48.tomorrow, despite the cloud it is still going to feel quite pleasant.

:05:49. > :05:51.Temperatures should reach 18, maybe 19 with a light south-westerly

:05:52. > :05:55.breeze. By tomorrow evening, it is set to stay dry once more A dry

:05:56. > :05:59.night overnight into Tuesday and Tuesday not a bad day to come. There

:06:00. > :06:03.will be cloud around but brighter spells will come through, maybe some

:06:04. > :06:07.sunshine as W it is not really until later on in the day we will see a

:06:08. > :06:10.weak weather front coming N it'll bring rain on Tuesday evening

:06:11. > :06:15.pushing across but before that, a warm day, despite the cloud, 19 or

:06:16. > :06:18.even 20. A wet end to the day on Tuesday but that will clear fairly

:06:19. > :06:22.quickly. Wednesday and Thursday we are expecting a good deal of dry

:06:23. > :06:27.weather as well. Of course, we will keep an eye on things and keep you

:06:28. > :06:29.up to date. Stay tuned to the forecast. Good night.
