:00:07. > :00:10.The Executive is considering scrapping the practice

:00:11. > :00:12.of setting budgets several years ahead

:00:13. > :00:16.because of uncertainty about UK public spending

:00:17. > :00:20.Ministers had been working towards a multi-year budget

:00:21. > :00:26.up until the next Stormont election in 2021.

:00:27. > :00:28.The Finance Minister, Mairtin O Muilleoir,

:00:29. > :00:36.to Radio Ulster's Inside Business programme.

:00:37. > :00:45.I think we need to have a 1- year budget, I would have rather looked

:00:46. > :00:51.ahead and done a 3- year budget to 2020 but there is so much

:00:52. > :00:54.uncertainty in the a, the EU referendum, the statements by Mr

:00:55. > :00:59.Osborne before he exited office, but I think the prudent way forward for

:01:00. > :01:01.others and Executive is to have a 1- year budget.

:01:02. > :01:03.A man in his 40s has died

:01:04. > :01:04.in a two-car collision in Londonderry.

:01:05. > :01:07.It happened on the Clooney Road in the early hours of this morning.

:01:08. > :01:09.A man and a woman in their 50s

:01:10. > :01:10.suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

:01:11. > :01:12.Yesterday, an elderly man died

:01:13. > :01:15.following a crash in County Fermanagh.

:01:16. > :01:17.79-year-old Patrick James McGeough was from the Monaghan area.

:01:18. > :01:21.on the Cavan Road near Newtownbutler.

:01:22. > :01:24.Around 100 people gathered at a sculpture in west Belfast

:01:25. > :01:27.to mark the canonisation of Mother Teresa,

:01:28. > :01:29.who lived in the area for a time in the 1970s.

:01:30. > :01:31.The nun was made a saint by Pope Francis

:01:32. > :01:48.This is the street wear a saint once lived. People living in Springhill

:01:49. > :01:52.Avenue gathered to celebrate the canonisation of one of their most

:01:53. > :01:56.famous residents, Mother Teresa and her sisters of Charity set up on

:01:57. > :02:02.here for 18 months at the height of the troubles in 1971. Thousands of

:02:03. > :02:07.pilgrims gathered in Rome today to see the proclaimed a saint at a

:02:08. > :02:12.ceremony in the Vatican. Residents of Ballan Murphy paused to remember

:02:13. > :02:16.her contribution to this area at a sculptor which was rededicated in

:02:17. > :02:19.her area. You mention her name, you know she has done something for the

:02:20. > :02:25.people. Like, she really cared and she brought happiness to other all

:02:26. > :02:30.in a time of war, as those riots and all here. At a time of war, she

:02:31. > :02:34.brought security. Also at today's servers was the priest who helped

:02:35. > :02:39.bring Mother Teresa to Belfast in 1971. When the people for that she

:02:40. > :02:43.was in the church, they gave her an ovation. Needless to say because

:02:44. > :02:48.they recognise her at once. But after the Mass, the people to hold

:02:49. > :02:53.of her. Physically too cold of her. They brought her round the district

:02:54. > :02:57.and talked to her. Mother Teresa's order, the sisters of Charity, have

:02:58. > :03:02.invited back to Ballan Murphy later this month for a celebration of

:03:03. > :03:05.sainthood. This sculptor serves as a permanent remembered at a time when

:03:06. > :03:08.Mother Teresa, now a saint, came to live and work among the people in

:03:09. > :03:14.this part of west Belfast. Those living here say they will continue

:03:15. > :03:15.to honour the small man who is now one of the giants in the Catholic

:03:16. > :03:19.Church. -- the small sister. Northern Ireland start

:03:20. > :03:21.their campaign to reach another

:03:22. > :03:23.big tournament this evening. Buoyed by their Euro 2016

:03:24. > :03:24.performance, the team is facing

:03:25. > :03:25.the Czech Republic in the first

:03:26. > :03:28.of its World Cup qualifying games. Manager Michael O'Neill says it

:03:29. > :03:42.could be the second toughest match Practising in Prague ahead of

:03:43. > :03:47.another big game. The first since the team was knocked out of the

:03:48. > :03:52.Euros by Wales in Paris. But getting to the last 16 in France has given

:03:53. > :03:57.this team confidence, and a desire to reach the World Cup in Russia.

:03:58. > :04:01.Whenever you win games, ultimately you take a lot of confidence from

:04:02. > :04:05.it, you take belief from it and you realise that I think the good thing

:04:06. > :04:08.since Michael Kamen, he has found a formula that has worked for us and

:04:09. > :04:11.everybody has bought into that, we're just trying to continue that

:04:12. > :04:15.and keep the positivity around the group. There is a really good

:04:16. > :04:19.feel-good factor within the team. The manager, Michael O'Neill, is

:04:20. > :04:22.aware to make's game is going to be tough. The Czech Republic are

:04:23. > :04:25.sporting a new coach and new players, all keen to prove

:04:26. > :04:29.themselves. And an even bigger challenge lies around the corner,

:04:30. > :04:36.Northern Ireland face world champions Germany away next month.

:04:37. > :04:39.History tells us that only twice in the last 60 or 70 years have

:04:40. > :04:42.generally not won the group, so they will be formidable, there is no

:04:43. > :04:45.doubt about that. But, equally, we have looked at the group more from

:04:46. > :04:49.the point of view of what points total we can have after three or

:04:50. > :04:53.four games how that sets a vote for the next three games and then the

:04:54. > :04:56.three games finally to finish. So if we can take something for this game

:04:57. > :05:00.and it was the point that will put off any good place. The Northern

:05:01. > :05:05.Ireland line-up is slightly altered since the Euros. Chris Baird has

:05:06. > :05:07.since retired from international football, and defender Craig

:05:08. > :05:11.Cathcart is out injured tonight. But, regardless, this team is hoping

:05:12. > :05:12.to once more bill of a world-class performance.

:05:13. > :05:15.Commentary of the match is live on Radio Ulster from 7:45pm tonight

:05:16. > :05:18.and we'll have a full report on our late news here

:05:19. > :05:24.Lots of sunshine around today, but will it last?

:05:25. > :05:31.Here's Angie to tell us about the weather for this week.

:05:32. > :05:37.Good evening. We are looking at a somewhat warmer air coming towards

:05:38. > :05:40.us this week, but before it arrives we have some rain to contend with

:05:41. > :05:43.through the course of the night. Once it clears, not an awful lot of

:05:44. > :05:47.rain in the forecast for a good part of the week, at least not until

:05:48. > :05:50.later in the week. Often a good deal of cloud, but hopefully some

:05:51. > :05:58.brightness and it is going to feel warmer. For this evening, mainly

:05:59. > :06:01.dry. The clouds starting to increase and the breeze will be picking up

:06:02. > :06:03.ahead of a weather front which brings spells over into open it.

:06:04. > :06:07.Some persistent, locally heavy in parts of the side in particular. In

:06:08. > :06:15.this day, my keynote and quick money, with lows of 12-14dC. -- --

:06:16. > :06:19.in parts of the South in particular. A misty, marquee mate. Dull and

:06:20. > :06:23.misty, low cloud with rain and drizzle and still a bit breezy.

:06:24. > :06:28.Things will start to clear and it will turn drier and brighter across

:06:29. > :06:31.Republic of Ireland. The rain pushes into central, western Scotland.

:06:32. > :06:35.North-west England, parts of 12 on parts of the side as well. Misty and

:06:36. > :06:38.murky here and it will feel quite muddy, despite increasing amounts of

:06:39. > :06:42.cloud. Pressure towards the north, where it will still be quite

:06:43. > :06:46.briefly. For Northern Ireland, by the afternoon, it is dry again.

:06:47. > :06:49.Still a fair amount of cloud but hopefully that will then I had to

:06:50. > :06:52.give some brightness and a few glimmers of sunshine. Those

:06:53. > :06:55.temperatures are starting to feel warmer, around 21 degrees. Tuesday

:06:56. > :07:01.might bring a bit more cloud and some rain, not an awful lot. It is

:07:02. > :07:04.behind that that we get that warm, Continental air coming in from the

:07:05. > :07:07.Saudis. At least until the middle part of the week. As we go through

:07:08. > :07:12.the rest of the week, those temperatures are still in the low

:07:13. > :07:17.20s. Variable, often large, amount of cloud and apart from a bit of

:07:18. > :07:20.rain on Tuesday a lot of dry weather until the end of the week.

:07:21. > :07:22.Our next BBC Newsline bulletin is at 10:20 tonight.

:07:23. > :07:25.Until then, you can keep up to date with local news on BBC Radio Ulster

:07:26. > :07:30.From everyone on the BBC Newsline team, goodbye.
