:00:07. > :00:12.The Ulster Unionist and SDLP leaders have pledged to work together

:00:13. > :00:14.constructively in opposition at Stormont.

:00:15. > :00:17.Playing host to Colum Eastwood at his party's annual conference,

:00:18. > :00:20.Mike Nesbitt promised to open up a new middle ground in politics

:00:21. > :00:27.Here's Our Political Editor Mark Devenport.

:00:28. > :00:33.They worked closely together in the Good Friday Agreement 18 years ago.

:00:34. > :00:36.The Ulster Unionists and the SDLP are pledging a new error of

:00:37. > :00:46.Colum Eastwood was warmly welcomed as he explained the

:00:47. > :00:57.And all in the obvious, we're different parties with different

:00:58. > :01:02.qualities and different visions of the future. We will not seamlessly

:01:03. > :01:07.fit any time soon but this difference does not diminish our

:01:08. > :01:11.ability to pursue a commonality of very major cause. Both the SDLP and

:01:12. > :01:15.the Ulster Unionists share the common ground of wanting to make

:01:16. > :01:18.Northern Ireland work. Mike Nesbitt acknowledge

:01:19. > :01:20.the Ulster Unionists had hoped to do better

:01:21. > :01:21.in He said they had

:01:22. > :01:24.suffered from Unionists voting for Arlene Foster to keep

:01:25. > :01:34.Martin McGuinness out. Of course the eyes of the is when

:01:35. > :01:37.you vote for Arlene Foster, you are guaranteeing you get Martin

:01:38. > :01:44.McGuinness because politically they are joined at the hip. Maybe next

:01:45. > :01:55.time we can persuade people that if you vote like you get caught. If you

:01:56. > :01:59.vote middle ground, you get better. So the two main opposition parties

:02:00. > :02:02.have used this event to send out an image of cooperation but the test

:02:03. > :02:05.will be how they handle the many issues in which they pull in very

:02:06. > :02:13.different directions. A man, woman and small child locked

:02:14. > :02:16.themselves into a bedroom when a gang of men burst

:02:17. > :02:19.into their home in South Belfast Police say one of the men

:02:20. > :02:23.was thought to be carrying a gun. It happened in Egeria Street

:02:24. > :02:25.around eleven o'clock. Nothing is thought to have been

:02:26. > :02:28.taken but a window was broken. It's been an emotional day

:02:29. > :02:30.for the Munster rugby team, playing their first match

:02:31. > :02:33.since the death of head coach There was a sell-out crowd

:02:34. > :02:36.at Thomond Park in Limerick as captain Peter O'Mahony

:02:37. > :02:39.led his players on to the field, to take on Glasgow in

:02:40. > :02:41.the European Champions Cup. It took Munster just three minutes

:02:42. > :02:43.to score the first try, and after that there

:02:44. > :02:46.was an inevitability about a Munster At the end of the game,

:02:47. > :02:50.Anthony Foley's two sons, Tony and Dan, were brought

:02:51. > :02:52.in by the team for a heartfelt singing of the Munster anthem,

:02:53. > :03:13."Stand Up and Fight." We shut up, they shut up. -- we

:03:14. > :03:17.showed up in May showed up for a massive occasion. We came out to

:03:18. > :03:23.play and we played for Ireland and the kids and all their family. I

:03:24. > :03:27.A statue has been unveiled on the Shankill in Belfast

:03:28. > :03:29.to recognise the history of boxing in the area.

:03:30. > :03:32.Some boxing heroes from the past and the present attended the event,

:03:33. > :03:40.Boxing has a strong tradition on the shank held. Countless champion

:03:41. > :03:46.boxers have come from Hugh Grosvenor decades. The talent is still coming.

:03:47. > :03:50.That is a huge respect for boxers here. People are fought in the

:03:51. > :03:58.boxing rings of the world. I travelled far and wide, I travelled

:03:59. > :04:02.the world, I travelled in Cuba, Russia, won titles in different

:04:03. > :04:08.places in the world. Today was about honouring the boxers from this area.

:04:09. > :04:15.Leaving others to dream about what might be. This statue was a tribute

:04:16. > :04:19.to former boxers and at -- and to encourage future generations. Boxing

:04:20. > :04:26.has a rising star here on the shank Crow Road. We've always had good

:04:27. > :04:30.boxers coming through so it is brilliant. We had Davy Larmour

:04:31. > :04:40.coming to the clubs. He used to here stories. When I was a young child I

:04:41. > :04:50.didn't know much about we are following in his footsteps now and

:04:51. > :04:52.it has been great. These local heroes are continuing the boxing

:04:53. > :04:59.The weather forecast now, with Cecilia Daly.

:05:00. > :05:06.Hello there, if you're heading out tonight it is looking dry in many

:05:07. > :05:13.places, just the odd chance of a shower. It was cool at times during

:05:14. > :05:18.the match. Still some showers for a while, mainly over County Down but

:05:19. > :05:21.many places turning dry as the night goes on. Clear skies around so

:05:22. > :05:26.temperatures could drop too low single figures. It will feel chilly

:05:27. > :05:31.for a time on Sunday with a chilly breeze blowing. That will carry the

:05:32. > :05:35.risk of a few showers of the Irish seat, mainly over County Down. The

:05:36. > :05:40.bulk of Sunday should be dry. There should be sunshine around as well,

:05:41. > :05:45.not too bad running weather for those taking part in the race

:05:46. > :05:53.tomorrow. Be aware of the chilly eastern bodies, especially if you're

:05:54. > :05:58.hanging around. These brisk showers are coming off a brisk wind in their

:05:59. > :06:02.North Sea. Perhaps a more persistent rain edging up towards south-west

:06:03. > :06:05.England later in the day. For Northern Ireland, the odd shower but

:06:06. > :06:10.many places will be dry although it will feel cool in the breeze.

:06:11. > :06:16.Temperatures could be done on what they wear today. Into the new week,

:06:17. > :06:20.fairly settled to begin with. Lots of dry weather around. On Wednesday,

:06:21. > :06:26.we change the wind direction and it will become milder. There were also

:06:27. > :06:27.be our weather front bringing some rain and drizzle to most places for

:06:28. > :06:29.a while. You can keep up to date with local
