:03:54. > :03:55.beat Westmeath by nine Now, finally let's get

:03:56. > :03:58.a look at the weather forecast for the new week,

:03:59. > :04:06.here's Barra with the details. We have had a relatively quiet

:04:07. > :04:11.weekend on the weather front, but that is about to come to an abrupt

:04:12. > :04:15.end is with make our way through tonight. It is going to turn much

:04:16. > :04:19.more unsettled as the high pressure clears out of the way. It will be a

:04:20. > :04:24.wet and windy start, then from midweek it is going to turn cold

:04:25. > :04:31.enough for snow. I'll tell you more about that in a moment. As for

:04:32. > :04:35.tonight, we do avoid any frosty conditions again. Temperatures will

:04:36. > :04:38.stay about five or six, but through the night the wind will pick up as

:04:39. > :04:44.we have rain coming in from the Atlantic. Some of that rain will be

:04:45. > :04:49.quite heavy, so blustery conditions in the early hours. That rain will

:04:50. > :04:54.last until tomorrow morning, but is gradually clears away. It will stay

:04:55. > :05:00.unsettled with further outbreaks of rain following behind, and we are

:05:01. > :05:03.expecting Gail Stillwell, especially towards the north coast. There will

:05:04. > :05:06.be some sunny spells in between the showers though. The rain tonight

:05:07. > :05:11.will affect everywhere across Britain and Ireland at some point,

:05:12. > :05:15.and by lunchtime tomorrow it will be sitting across much of England and

:05:16. > :05:18.Wales, she slowly making its way south and east. Northern England,

:05:19. > :05:23.Scotland and across Ireland will have sunny spells coming and going,

:05:24. > :05:28.but also scattered showers, and factoring in those wins it will feel

:05:29. > :05:37.much cooler -- colder than lately. For us, we are looking at Tom

:05:38. > :05:38.temperatures of maybe seven or 8 degrees. Tomorrow evening the wind

:05:39. > :05:43.will continue, with scattered showers, but we are expecting a dry

:05:44. > :05:47.day on Tuesday with plenty of cloud around, and temperatures up a little

:05:48. > :05:51.bit. Nine or 10 degrees for many of us, and the wind should not be quite

:05:52. > :05:55.a strong but still coming in from the West. From midweek we have

:05:56. > :05:59.colder air coming in from the Arctic, allowing temperatures to

:06:00. > :06:03.drop quite low. For Thursday we are expecting snow showers, not only for

:06:04. > :06:08.high ground but also for some law levels as well. -- lower levels.
