:00:11. > :00:14.Detectives say they believe an AK47 assault rifle used in the attempted

:00:15. > :00:21.murder of a police officer in north Belfast last week has been used

:00:22. > :00:25.Officers revisited the scene this evening exactly one

:00:26. > :00:37.There was a heavy police presence as detectives return to the scene. A

:00:38. > :00:42.hail of bullets hit this forecourt. The target, a community police

:00:43. > :00:46.officer doing his job. He was injured and remains in a stable

:00:47. > :00:51.condition. Several cars were also hit. The attack was claimed by the

:00:52. > :00:55.Republican group known as the new IRA. A week on, detectives have

:00:56. > :01:02.released more information about the car and can't be believed were used.

:01:03. > :01:10.We know it involved an AK-47 type weapon and again, these weapons are

:01:11. > :01:15.for mass killing. It was right across this road. We know this

:01:16. > :01:22.weapon has history in Belfast by this group and was previously used.

:01:23. > :01:29.It was an attempt to jog the memory is of anybody who may have seen it

:01:30. > :01:36.last week. Police believe it was used as a getaway vehicle before

:01:37. > :01:40.being found in west Belfast. Detectives are not interested in the

:01:41. > :01:47.movements of the west and north Belfast -- are interested. Three men

:01:48. > :01:48.arrested in connection with the incident have all been unreleased

:01:49. > :01:51.unconditionally. The Secretary of State James

:01:52. > :01:55.Brokenshire has repeated his belief during the Troubles

:01:56. > :01:58.are "disproportionately" focused Writing in the Sunday Telegraph

:01:59. > :02:03.he said it was "clear" that investigations into more than 3,500

:02:04. > :02:07.deaths were "not working". Responding to those comments,

:02:08. > :02:09.the Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams said Mr Brokenshire

:02:10. > :02:12.was defending the indefensible. The SDLP's Alex Attwood described

:02:13. > :02:15.the remarks as false claims and said The Alliance MLA, David Ford said

:02:16. > :02:21.Mr Brokenshire's comments "come perilously close to interfering

:02:22. > :02:23.in the rule of law". Meanwhile the DUP MP

:02:24. > :02:26.Jeffrey Donaldson has welcomed the secretary of state's comments,

:02:27. > :02:30.calling the current system a "one sided process".The UUP MP

:02:31. > :02:34.Danny Kinahan said he was pleased Mr Brokenshire had acknowledged

:02:35. > :02:36.what he described as an imbalance in the way British soldiers

:02:37. > :02:46.are being treated. Carl Frampton has lost

:02:47. > :02:50.to Leo Santa Cruz in his defence of his WBA featherweight title

:02:51. > :02:52.in Las Vegas. The Belfast boxer was narrowly

:02:53. > :02:54.defeated on a points decision in the rematch in the first loss

:02:55. > :02:57.of his professional career. BBC Newsline's Thomas

:02:58. > :03:07.Kane was there. It was another thrilling contest

:03:08. > :03:13.between these two top-class fighters. Frampton was very graces

:03:14. > :03:18.in defeat and he felt his opponent deserved the victory. The focus

:03:19. > :03:23.turned to another immediate rematch with the Belfast boxer believing it

:03:24. > :03:31.should take place in his own home city. Obviously, I am very

:03:32. > :03:35.disappointed. It was a good fight. I think we have had 24 rounds of each

:03:36. > :03:43.other and they have been competitive rounds. It is one all now. If we

:03:44. > :03:50.look at any sort of positive out of this, we have to make it a trilogy.

:03:51. > :03:54.It has to happen again. Leo is a tremendous fighter. Congratulations

:03:55. > :04:00.to the new champion. Hopefully we can do it again. I've come to the

:04:01. > :04:04.States twice now and Leo said he would do it in Belfast the third

:04:05. > :04:10.time. I hope he is a man of his word. You can come and stay at my

:04:11. > :04:16.house if he wants and we can get it on for a third time. Would you be

:04:17. > :04:23.willing to come to Belfast? I am a man of my word. It is going to be

:04:24. > :04:29.inconvenient for me to go to Belfast but I am a man of my word. If it was

:04:30. > :04:34.up to me, I would go up there. It is not just up to me, it is up to my

:04:35. > :04:38.promoter and manager. This featherweight rivalry has captured

:04:39. > :04:42.the imagination of the boxing world. It trilogy make sense for both

:04:43. > :04:43.parties, as Frampton aims to win back his title.

:04:44. > :04:55.As we go into the new week, more mobile weather coming off the

:04:56. > :05:01.Atlantic. Some dry and bright gaps in between the weather systems. When

:05:02. > :05:05.they come along, spells of rain and windy at times. With the wind is

:05:06. > :05:09.coming in from the self, it is not going to be as cold. A cold one

:05:10. > :05:13.today but we are going through a transition. Cloud has been moving

:05:14. > :05:19.end but hold onto that cloud. Drizzle affecting many parts as we

:05:20. > :05:24.go through this evening and tonight. As a result, it will be frost free.

:05:25. > :05:28.Temperatures of five Celsius. We start a new week on a cloudy zero.

:05:29. > :05:38.That weather around, the bees will boot picking up as well not to...

:05:39. > :05:47.More rain pushing in across the south. Brightest and drive across

:05:48. > :05:52.Scotland and the east of England. -- driest. When you get the cloud and

:05:53. > :05:56.rain moving in, those temperatures up to double figures. Back to

:05:57. > :06:00.Northern Ireland. In the afternoon, we have the breeze picking up as

:06:01. > :06:05.well and batches of rain and drizzle moving its way in. Temperatures of

:06:06. > :06:10.11 Celsius. As we go through the rest of the week, we have a band of

:06:11. > :06:13.slow moving rain moving through tomorrow night. Tuesday, a little

:06:14. > :06:18.bit dry and brighter. More showery rain coming from midweek on words.

:06:19. > :06:19.Those winds picking up especially on Thursday.
