:00:00. > :00:00.It has to be that man, the coach, Eddie Jones, about to win the Six

:00:00. > :00:07.Good evening. Nations again

:00:08. > :00:10.Detectives investigating the murder of Paul Gerard Curran in Lurgan have

:00:11. > :00:13.been granted an additional 36 hours to question three people.

:00:14. > :00:15.The 29-year-old's body was found at a house in Manor Drive

:00:16. > :00:20.Two men and a woman, who are all aged in their 30s,

:00:21. > :00:28.Teachers are warning of further strike action if politicians fail

:00:29. > :00:32.to address issues over pay and school budgets.

:00:33. > :00:34.The NASUWT says political institutions here must be restored,

:00:35. > :00:39.otherwise more industrial action is planned.

:00:40. > :00:54.Teachers gathered for their annual conference, still smarting over a 1%

:00:55. > :00:57.pay increase and determined to continue industrial action over

:00:58. > :01:02.salaries, pensions and the growing workload. They are concerned about

:01:03. > :01:08.the impact of funding cuts on education. He would be one of our

:01:09. > :01:13.main issues along with school budgets, school resource budgets

:01:14. > :01:17.which have been cut to the bone. We have larger class sizes, less money

:01:18. > :01:21.available for books, resources and money has been taken away from

:01:22. > :01:27.special needs. Education really is in crisis. The food might look

:01:28. > :01:31.appetising but many schools are hungry for more money and teachers

:01:32. > :01:36.feel short-changed over pay. The union says that while government

:01:37. > :01:40.money has been wasted on the RHI scheme, politicians are guilty of

:01:41. > :01:46.penny-pinching when it comes to education. More strikes by teachers

:01:47. > :01:51.could follow. The 27th of March we see as D-Day for education here. If

:01:52. > :01:55.devolution is not restored, we are heading for disaster. We are

:01:56. > :02:00.considering our options during this period. We are not going to go on

:02:01. > :02:05.strike before date, but we are keeping it in reserve. While

:02:06. > :02:09.teachers contemplate further strikes, the former minister, Peter

:02:10. > :02:14.Weir, is warned schools would need to find an extra ?250 million over

:02:15. > :02:15.the next three years just to stand still.

:02:16. > :02:20.It happened during a party at a flat shortly after midnight

:02:21. > :02:27.The victim was wounded in the chest and back and is in a stable

:02:28. > :02:31.A suspect was followed by a number of people after he left the party

:02:32. > :02:36.and he was arrested by police a short distance away.

:02:37. > :02:39.Sinn Fein have again warned that they will not be part

:02:40. > :02:42.of an Executive with Arlene Foster as First Minister.

:02:43. > :02:45.Stormont leader Michelle O'Neill was speaking after a party

:02:46. > :03:00.She is the leader of the DUP so we will work with with the issues. Our

:03:01. > :03:04.only issue is in terms of forming an Executive. She could not put herself

:03:05. > :03:08.forward for the position of first Deputy First Minister while this

:03:09. > :03:12.cloud is over. We have big issues to deal with. We are in a critical

:03:13. > :03:16.period but we are working with all the parties. We believe in the

:03:17. > :03:18.institutions, we believe in good governance, but we have to find our

:03:19. > :03:18.way through those issues. Rugby, and Ireland will be hoping

:03:19. > :03:22.to recover some pride in their last Six Nations game against England

:03:23. > :03:24.in Dublin next Saturday. Last night they went

:03:25. > :03:41.down to Wales by 22-9. As expected, it was a noisy,

:03:42. > :03:46.physical battle. Jonathan Sexton kicked Ireland ahead, but after a

:03:47. > :03:48.quiet opening the Welsh should the clinical edge with George North

:03:49. > :03:55.citing his way through the Irish defence to touch down. Towards the

:03:56. > :03:59.end of the first-half yellow card for Jonathan Sexton give the Welsh

:04:00. > :04:04.the initiative to score ten points in the ten minutes that he was off.

:04:05. > :04:08.North should pace, power and precision to drop down his and

:04:09. > :04:15.wheels's second second try of the night. Ireland script their way back

:04:16. > :04:19.into contention fired the boot of Sexton and wave after wave of Irish

:04:20. > :04:24.attacking play helped Joe Schmidt's site eventually crossed the line,

:04:25. > :04:28.but a rush of blood from Robbie Henshaw the wheels off the hook as

:04:29. > :04:32.the Irish conceded a penalty. Those are the ones that Robbie comes in to

:04:33. > :04:36.head, hoping to give a bit of momentum to get this across the line

:04:37. > :04:42.because we are in a good position. The physical encounters are so

:04:43. > :04:48.either way, but being on the wrong side of the scoreline hurts.

:04:49. > :04:56.Ireland's woes were compose -- compounded after the end of a signal

:04:57. > :05:00.to our of winning a 36 Nations title in four years. Next they host

:05:01. > :05:04.England, where they will be playing for pride and not a trophy.

:05:05. > :05:16.It has been a nice man sought to the week. The worst and best of the

:05:17. > :05:22.sunshine, but tomorrow is looking like a day. Mostly dry this evening.

:05:23. > :05:25.The odd spot of drizzle and some mist toward the east coast. It is

:05:26. > :05:31.after midnight before the next rain comes in. It shouldn't be too heavy

:05:32. > :05:34.and it was the man tonight. Some will linger into Sunday morning

:05:35. > :05:39.across eastern counties. It shouldn't be too long before it

:05:40. > :05:41.brightens up, mainly because there will be a noticeable breeze from the

:05:42. > :05:46.West which will push the rain away and bring the sun off. They the odd

:05:47. > :05:51.shower but most places will have a fine morning. A lovely day in many

:05:52. > :05:55.parts of the Republic. One or two showers. Cloudy in Central and

:05:56. > :06:00.eastern Britain. Not as warm as today and some rain. The West with

:06:01. > :06:02.the best of the brightness. A nice afternoon in many places for

:06:03. > :06:09.Northern Ireland. One or two showers. Temperatures up to 14

:06:10. > :06:14.degrees of Belfast and County Down. Fresher in the West because of the

:06:15. > :06:18.breeze. As we move into the new week it will be a dry start to the week.

:06:19. > :06:24.The little rain later in the day. The rain is light and breezy. It

:06:25. > :06:25.could get killed by the end of the week. Staging for St Patrick's Day

:06:26. > :06:27.forecast. That's it from us until

:06:28. > :06:29.17:50 tomorrow evening. You can keep up to date with local
