:00:28. > :00:35.35-year-old Brian Roy McLean, of The Birches in Carrickfergus,

:00:36. > :00:38.and 28-year-old Samuel David McMaw, of Starbog Road, Kilwaughter,

:00:39. > :00:41.spoke only to confirm their names and that they understood

:00:42. > :00:50.They are jointly accused with murdering Mr Gilmore last

:00:51. > :00:53.Monday, the attempted murders of two other people on the same day

:00:54. > :00:55.and possessing a firearm and ammunition with intent

:00:56. > :00:58.George Gilmore died after he was shot in the neck

:00:59. > :01:03.The police described it as "a ruthless attack

:01:04. > :01:09.There has been a long-running feud between loyalist factions

:01:10. > :01:11.in the area and the PSNI said it was working to avoid

:01:12. > :01:17.Today in court, there was no application for bail and both

:01:18. > :01:19.were remanded in custody, to appear again by

:01:20. > :01:28.Supporters who'd packed the courtroom got to their feet,

:01:29. > :01:32.clapping and cheering as the two men were taken out of the dock.

:01:33. > :01:34.Two men from Newtownabbey have been in court charged with trying

:01:35. > :01:42.44-year-old David John Gibson, from Milewater Drive,

:01:43. > :01:44.and 34-year-old David Rush, from Ballyvesey Green,

:01:45. > :01:52.Darren Moore was attacked by a gang in a bar in Doagh earlier this week.
