:00:33. > :00:35.arrested here at the Riverside regional Park in Coleraine on

:00:36. > :00:41.Thursday. His detention came after several weeks of what was described

:00:42. > :00:46.as a proactive police investigation linked to the online dark web. It's

:00:47. > :00:51.alleged the 14-year-old used the dark web in an attempt to buy a gun

:00:52. > :00:54.and bullets which were to be used to intimidate a third party. He had

:00:55. > :00:58.gone to the regional Park to meet someone about this, however, his

:00:59. > :01:03.contact turned out to be a police operative and he was arrested. The

:01:04. > :01:08.court was told the schoolboy was arrested as part of an investigation

:01:09. > :01:12.into the online dark web. This involved an attempt to buy a

:01:13. > :01:15.submachine gun and 100 rounds of ammunition. The schoolboy appeared

:01:16. > :01:20.in court flanked by a police officer and his father and spoke only to

:01:21. > :01:23.confirm his identity and that he understood the charge. The police

:01:24. > :01:26.opposed bail but the district judge said that due to his age he was

:01:27. > :01:30.remanded on bail but the strict conditions that he would have no

:01:31. > :01:32.access to a mobile phone or the internet. He will appear in court

:01:33. > :01:34.again at the end of the month. A number of controlled explosions

:01:35. > :01:37.have been carried out on a car during a security alert in Twinbrook

:01:38. > :01:39.in West Belfast. Police believe the vehicle

:01:40. > :01:43.in Azalea Gardens may be linked to a robbery at office premises

:01:44. > :01:47.in The Cutts area on Monday, when three men dressed as postmen,

:01:48. > :01:50.one armed with a gun, assaulted two women and made off

:01:51. > :01:53.with a sum of money. A number of items were taken

:01:54. > :01:58.away for examination. The new Ulster Unionist leader

:01:59. > :02:01.Robin Swann says having a single Speaking after being confirmed

:02:02. > :02:07.as leader by party members, he also said there should be no back

:02:08. > :02:10.door deals in the talks process. Here's our political

:02:11. > :02:23.correspondent, Stephen Walker. The sole candidate for a leader,

:02:24. > :02:29.Robin Swann, was given unanimous backing by the party faithful. Mike

:02:30. > :02:33.Nesbitt, who resigned after last month 's Assembly election. Robin

:02:34. > :02:37.Swann said that in the ongoing talks into restoring devolution there must

:02:38. > :02:42.be no back door deals and if it was a 2-party agreement it would be a

:02:43. > :02:47.two party Executive. He also spoke out against the creation of one

:02:48. > :02:52.party to represent Unionists. A single Unionist party with limited

:02:53. > :02:57.choice, stifle debate and quickly result in the depletion of Unionist

:02:58. > :02:59.votes at the ballot box. The North Antrim MLA also said the Ulster

:03:00. > :03:06.Unionists would-be champions for the union. Robin Swann is the Ulster

:03:07. > :03:11.party leader in a decade. He leads a party battered and bruised after the

:03:12. > :03:14.Assembly election and the party faces big questions. How will they

:03:15. > :03:18.re-engage with the electorate and will they go back into government if

:03:19. > :03:21.there is a power-sharing Executive? Robin Swann is the new leader, but

:03:22. > :03:24.he faces some very familiar questions.

:03:25. > :03:26.An event held by the Basque terrorist group ETA to begin

:03:27. > :03:29.the surrender of the remainder of its weapons has been attended by

:03:30. > :03:35.He was one of the independent witnesses who verified

:03:36. > :03:38.the decommissioning of IRA weapons, and he's been involved in the peace

:03:39. > :03:44.process in the Basque region of Spain for a number of years.

:03:45. > :03:46.At a ceremony in the southern French city of Bayonne,

:03:47. > :03:49.a file containing details of ETA arms caches and their locations

:03:50. > :03:52.was handed over to a group of international witnesses,

:03:53. > :04:06.Hugely significant. Today I note that many people here have been

:04:07. > :04:12.waiting for and longing for and working towards and I don't think

:04:13. > :04:19.you could exaggerate the significance and importance of this

:04:20. > :04:23.day and I judge that not just by the individuals who have spoken, but by

:04:24. > :04:26.the crowds of people and we are going now to see many thousands of

:04:27. > :04:27.them who will gather to celebrate this day.

:04:28. > :04:30.Golf, and Rory McIlroy gets his third round at the US

:04:31. > :04:45.Rory McIlroy it started around 35 shots behind the leading group of

:04:46. > :04:49.players, knowing that he needs a low scorer this afternoon if he is to

:04:50. > :04:54.put himself in a position to really challenge for the Masters title

:04:55. > :04:59.tomorrow. A little deflated after an unlucky finish yesterday, but he

:05:00. > :05:04.feels he is very much in contention. I am within five of the lead with

:05:05. > :05:08.better conditions on the way. I am right in this tournament. I know

:05:09. > :05:12.what can happen on Sunday around here, good and bad. It is about

:05:13. > :05:16.getting into position. I need something in the 60s tomorrow to get

:05:17. > :05:21.myself in their and I am not disappointed. I am disappointed by

:05:22. > :05:23.what happened at the last, but I am in a decent position. McIlroy tees

:05:24. > :05:36.off in about 15 minutes. It has been a lovely day today. Dry

:05:37. > :05:39.and bright, high pressure firmly in charge, but the clear skies through

:05:40. > :05:43.this evening when the temperature will drop away very sharply through

:05:44. > :05:47.the first part of the night. They will recover because we have cloud

:05:48. > :05:51.seeding in from the West and I'm afraid that tomorrow is altogether a

:05:52. > :05:55.more cloudy picture. We start with the blanket of cloud sitting and

:05:56. > :05:58.Rovers through the morning so we will start to see rain encroaching

:05:59. > :06:03.from the West. That would be light and patchy to start with but through

:06:04. > :06:06.the afternoon the brain becomes more persistent and spreads further

:06:07. > :06:10.across Northern Ireland. The different data many other parts of

:06:11. > :06:13.the British Isles. Look at south-east England. They get

:06:14. > :06:18.uninterrupted sunshine and temperatures up to 24 degrees.

:06:19. > :06:22.Across Scotland it is much wetter. Into next week there is a theme of

:06:23. > :06:26.the temperatures dropping away, the weather becoming unsettled. Monday

:06:27. > :06:30.is a mix of sunshine and showers so I hope you could get the outside

:06:31. > :06:36.jobs done today because it has been the pick of the next few days. That

:06:37. > :06:37.is it for now. We are back at ten to seven tomorrow evening. Until then,

:06:38. > :06:50.enjoy your weekend. Revision gone off-track?

:06:51. > :06:54.It's important to set your goals.
