:01:04. > :01:06.the town's budget for next year. The council says, if it saves on waste

:01:07. > :01:15.collection, it will reduce the cuts in other front line services. Angela

:01:16. > :01:19.Walker reports. 12,000 tonnes of recycling waste

:02:58. > :02:59.other front`line services. Meanwhile, in Gloucestershire, the

:03:00. > :03:03.county council faces a shortfall of almost ?8 million next year. It's

:03:04. > :03:06.published its draft budget, which will see less money being spent on

:03:07. > :03:10.older people, vulnerable adults, children and families. But more will

:04:36. > :04:38.space and long waits for patients at A a the hospital struggled with

:04:39. > :04:51.the sheer number of people needing emergency treatment. Now Swindon's

:04:52. > :04:54.Clinical Commissioning group's been told it has got an extra ?1 million

:04:55. > :04:58.of Government funding. The money's now going to be spent on extra

:04:59. > :05:01.resources at A and services which help prevent people needing to go

:05:02. > :06:22.into hospital in the first place. Our staff have been

:06:25. > :06:30.includes a community benefit fund which could generate around ?40,000

:06:31. > :06:32.a year for local projects. It has the fastest`growing

:06:33. > :06:35.population of any town in the country and now the number of

:06:36. > :06:39.businesses moving to Milton Keynes is also increasing. Latest figures

:06:40. > :06:43.show almost 400 companies have moved to the town in the last year. Some

:06:44. > :06:44.have set up their European headquarters there, as Jessica

:06:45. > :08:14.Cooper has been finding out. businesses have come to the town.

:08:15. > :08:17.That is due to good transport links and office space being available.

:08:18. > :08:21.Growth is not unique to Milton Keynes and towns elsewhere in the

:08:22. > :08:29.county can compete. I think the evidence shows that we have a large

:08:30. > :08:36.number of head offices here in the county. We have Stoke Mandeville,

:08:37. > :10:00.the birthplace in the conversation on our Facebook

:10:01. > :10:06.and Twitter pages. That is all for me for the moment. I will have the

:11:49. > :11:59.this project. Over Christmas, that number will increase to 1,000. This

:12:00. > :12:02.will make an enormous difference. We are standing on the bottleneck to

:12:03. > :12:05.the west of Reading which causes considerable difficulties at the

:12:06. > :12:08.moment and we're going to end at separating our mainline trains from

:12:09. > :12:10.freight trains and from those trains running from the north to south.

:12:11. > :13:33.That gives us the chance to Picking up the keys to your student

:13:34. > :13:37.pad should be an exciting moment, but not for Eva. She felt pressured

:13:38. > :13:40.by a letting agent into making a decision, and was stung for a high

:13:41. > :13:44.fee. I wouldn't one anyone to go through that, really, I do not think

:13:45. > :13:47.it is rate for students. People talk about the hosting lifestyle but you

:13:48. > :13:51.have got enough going on with your degree. You already have to choose

:13:52. > :13:54.your housemates that you want to live with for a year and actors

:13:55. > :13:59.quite a difficult decision. If everyone is pressuring you to do

:14:00. > :15:19.that by November, it is ridiculous. Now estate agents are being

:15:27. > :15:31.NHS and police. Joe Campbell reports.

:15:32. > :15:36.Many weekend revellers are familiar with the Knight bus. This one will

:15:37. > :15:39.not get you home after an evening of excess in Reading, but for some it

:15:40. > :15:45.could be an equally welcome sight. The pilot scheme won with St John's

:17:17. > :17:20.conference for tomorrow morning, where they'll announce that the club

:17:21. > :17:24.have been taken over by a group of Irish businessmen. One of the key

:17:25. > :17:27.decisions for the new owners will be whether to move away from their

:17:28. > :17:31.current home at Reading's Madejski Stadium. The Exiles have shared the

:17:32. > :17:33.venue with Reading Football Club since 2000, and have an agreement in

:17:34. > :17:35.place to play there until 2026. In football, Swindon Town are just one

:17:36. > :18:56.round from good deal better than the men's team

:18:57. > :18:59.are managing at present! Dorset taekwondo star Aaron Cook is

:19:00. > :19:02.preparing for a potential encounter, against the man who denied him a

:19:03. > :19:05.place at the London Olympics last year. Dorchester's Cook could face

:19:06. > :19:08.Lutaylo Muhammed, in this weekend's inaugural World Grand Prix event in

:19:09. > :19:11.Manchester. The pair haven't spoken since Muhammed was chosen for the

:19:12. > :19:15.Olympic team ahead of Cook, who then ditched his GB funding and chose to

:19:16. > :19:21.compete for the Isle of Man instead. Here's Ed Sherry.

:19:22. > :20:47.winner and it will be me. Georgia Barnes is also competing. I am also

:20:48. > :20:54.very excited to get the wild card. It is an honour, a great

:20:55. > :21:01.opportunity. Georgia Barnes content two share the common goal of the

:21:02. > :21:07.2016 Olympics. The challenges they face to get there are very

:22:37. > :22:41.work that was begun today is sad but necessary.

:22:42. > :22:47.It is a view that has changed very little in 200 years, a view that the

:22:48. > :22:53.Duke of Wellington knew very well. William Banks honoured the iron Duke

:24:22. > :24:28.this is the end for the Duke's cedar, the link will survive.

:24:29. > :24:42.Saplings taken from seeds will soon be planted.

:24:43. > :24:43.Onto the weather forecast now. Many people had to scrape their
