:02:03. > :02:05.housing. So when people are here in 2031, they'll look back and think

:03:27. > :03:32.year. Already a sick man, he spent his last few months at the Great
:03:33. > :03:34.Western Hospital. She believes he suffered dehydration, malnutrition
:03:35. > :03:47.and at times neglect. She wants answers. Why did he land up with an
:03:48. > :03:53.amputated leg. His left leg was in plaster. It was broken. I want to
:03:54. > :03:57.understand how he got a broken leg. She says he want for periods without
:03:58. > :03:59.food and fluids. Some staff weren't aware he was blind. There were
:04:00. > :04:06.communication breakdowns between departments. The family say they
:04:07. > :04:10.were made to feel like a nuisance. We were told we were hindering them
:04:11. > :04:19.doing their job when we were really doing it for them. Michael was
:04:20. > :04:22.admitted in May last year. He was discharged in July but six days
:04:23. > :04:26.later he was re`admitted when an infection flared up again. In August
:04:27. > :04:29.he had part of his heel removed. In September, an x`ray showed his left
:04:30. > :04:35.leg was broken in two places. In October, his right leg was amputated
:04:36. > :04:41.below the knee. Michael died on the 13th of November last year. The
:04:42. > :04:44.hospital say the quality of care provided didn't meet the high
:04:45. > :04:52.standards they would noramlly expect. `` normally. They go on to
:04:53. > :04:55.say nursing and medical staff were in constant contact. They have
:04:56. > :04:58.apologised to Mrs Edginton for not keeping her fully informed and say
:04:59. > :05:09.they have arranged to meet her to discuss her husband's care.
:05:10. > :05:12.Meanwhile Chiltern Railways has signed a deal to acquire additional
:05:13. > :05:15.trains ` which will come into service in time for the opening of
:05:16. > :05:24.the new line between Oxford and London Marylebone next year.
