:00:00. > 3:59:59acquitted last week of murdering PC Blakelock. Here on One we can now

:00:00. > :00:11.Good evening. There are claims that join the

:00:12. > :00:14.Good evening. There are claims that patients in Oxfordshire will suffer

:00:15. > :00:17.because of ongoing financial troubles at the group which buys

:00:18. > :00:20.health care in the county. The Clinical Commissioning Group says

:00:21. > :00:25.it's likely to have an overspend of nearly ?7 million by this time next

:00:26. > :00:29.year. Our Political Reporter told me why the group is struggling. At a

:00:30. > :00:32.basic level it's high demand for things that the CCG buys like

:00:33. > :00:35.hospital services and just not enough money to match that. In

:00:36. > :00:38.Oxfordshire the problem is particularly acute because we have

:00:39. > :00:42.an ageing population and are seen as a healthy, wealthy county so we do

:00:43. > :00:47.not get as much government money of other places. While some CCGs are

:00:48. > :00:49.doing well, such as Chiltern and Aylesbury Vale, South

:00:50. > :00:57.Gloucestershire is also in deficit by ?3.3 million. What does it mean

:00:58. > :01:01.for patients? At the moment we do not know but health consumer groups

:01:02. > :01:06.are worried. The general discussion is that it will be emergency

:01:07. > :01:10.operations that will be stopped. Nationally someone who has looked at

:01:11. > :01:15.it said it looked like a 15% cut. I think it may be a bit more because

:01:16. > :01:18.we are in the red. That is a very large number of emergency operations

:01:19. > :01:21.that some doctors have decided people need because of their

:01:22. > :01:29.condition that as of now, or from the next year or two or three, will

:01:30. > :01:33.not be done. Nobody from the CCG was available to speak to us tonight but

:01:34. > :01:37.it says it has been working with the public to develop a five`year plan

:01:38. > :01:41.although it does expect to be back on plan financially within two

:01:42. > :01:46.years. ?? WHITE Up to 100 workers could

:01:47. > :01:48.lose their jobs in Swindon. The underwear manufacturer Triumph has

:01:49. > :01:52.announced it's moving its distribution centre to France. The

:01:53. > :01:55.company says distribution will move in June, but other parts of the

:01:56. > :02:00.business in Swindon won't be affected.

:02:01. > :02:03.A 28`year`old man has been jailed for knocking down a police officer

:02:04. > :02:07.who tried to stop him getting away in a stolen car. Luke Hayward has

:02:08. > :02:09.been sentenced to nine years for critically injuring PC Gareth

:02:10. > :02:12.Browning in the Whitley area of Reading in November. Haywood

:02:13. > :02:15.admitted causing grievous bodily harm with intent. PC Browning

:02:16. > :02:20.remains in hospital in a stable condition.

:02:21. > :02:23.It's one of the most treatable cancers, but our region has the

:02:24. > :02:26.lowest take`up rates for bowel screenings in the South East. Only

:02:27. > :02:34.around half the people offered the test in Oxfordshire take it up.

:02:35. > :02:43.Stand at ease. Active, fit candidate for cancer. Four years ago

:02:44. > :02:47.he noticed he was passing blood. It took him ten weeks to pluck up the

:02:48. > :02:54.courage to talk to his partner about it and go to the doctor. I was very

:02:55. > :02:58.ignorant. I was bleeding. If I had had some idea, I would have acted

:02:59. > :03:05.earlier. Fortunately I caught the cancer early in its development. If

:03:06. > :03:09.I had left it any longer then perhaps not. In Buckinghamshire,

:03:10. > :03:15.Milton Keynes, Berkshire and Oxfordshire the take`up for

:03:16. > :03:18.screening was only 58%. 14% of people said they were too

:03:19. > :05:35.embarrassed to talk to anyone about it and nearly a third of people put

:05:36. > :05:39.further, moving into her own home in Bicester. She's no longer with her

:05:40. > :05:46.baby's father, but can't wait for her son to join her. I'm going to be

:05:47. > :05:50.the best mum I can be. Tell him right from wrong, teach him the

:05:51. > :05:55.right ways to be. Samantha's recovery has been up and down. Now

:05:56. > :06:01.the family is looking forward to a happier future.

:06:02. > :06:05.Another determined woman now. This time a runner who ran 21 miles of

:06:06. > :06:09.the London Marathon with a broken foot. Tina Massey, from Bicester,

:06:10. > :06:13.fell over a discarded drinks bottle. Although she was in pain she didn't

:06:14. > :06:16.realise her foot was broken. She'd trained for two years and raised

:06:17. > :06:24.nearly ?1,500 for charity and was determined to finish the race. When

:06:25. > :06:28.I first did it it was very painful. I think the crowd, everyone shouts

:06:29. > :06:33.your name as you are going along. The crowd was fantastic and they

:06:34. > :06:39.kept me going. I thought, I have to finish it. So I finished it.

:06:40. > :06:41.An amazing achievement by Tina. We're back in BBC Breakfast tomorrow

:06:42. > :06:52.morning. Cloud will come and go through the

:06:53. > :06:55.course of the night. We are expecting slightly more after

:06:56. > :07:01.midnight but there will be a few clear spells which will allow patchy

:07:02. > :07:03.frost to form in the usual spots. Temperatures down to around 6`7

:07:04. > :07:07.Celsius but possibly down to freezing in the countryside. A dry

:07:08. > :07:11.but sunny start to the day tomorrow. Any cloud will thin during the

:07:12. > :07:15.morning and increase later in the afternoon. With the cloud cover

:07:16. > :07:23.temperatures will be suppressed. Highs of around 14`16. The winds

:07:24. > :07:27.coming in from the west. Staying settled up until Saturday with

:07:28. > :07:41.high`pressure remaining in charge. Stay tuned for the national weather.

:07:42. > :07:47.Good evening. The good news is that it will be a reasonably sunny start

:07:48. > :07:50.to the Easter weekend. The bad news is that it will not stay that way

:07:51. > :07:56.for many of us. Overnight tonight, many of us will be dry with patchy

:07:57. > :08:00.rain across Scotland. Some of us will -- some of this will track into

:08:01. > :08:06.northern England and were. Quite patchy in nature. Not a lot of rain.

:08:07. > :08:10.Dry further south. Maybe a touch of frost across the far south-east. The

:08:11. > :08:13.other end of the UK, blustery showers across the North West of

:08:14. > :08:25.Scotland but further south, patchy rain across northern and will. --

:08:26. > :08:28.North England and were. A sunny start across the far south-east of

:08:29. > :08:29.thing and after a chilly dawn, it will warm up
