:01:09. > :01:12.says it's an insult. It's quite shocking really, yeah, it's quite

:01:13. > :01:15.hurtful. I haven't received an apology, I haven't received any

:01:16. > :01:24.compensation. I have had to move back in to my parents' house, so my

:01:25. > :01:30.` so we can financial support, the fact my life is in tatters and he is

:02:24. > :02:28.For the prison officers who suffered at his hands, the only injustice is

:02:29. > :02:30.this ruling. Swindon Town footballer Nile

:02:31. > :02:37.Ranger's been arrested tonight on suspicion of assault and criminal

:02:38. > :02:40.damage. The 23 yoorld handed himself in to police earlier. An assault

:02:41. > :02:43.allegation has been dropped. The striker from Gordon Gardens in

:02:51. > :02:53.Magistrates tomorrow. Tonight, MPs are taking part in a

:02:54. > :02:57.critical vote about HS2 ` a critical stage in the journey from ambitious

:02:58. > :03:01.idea to concrete and steel reality. Hundreds of campaigners demonstrated

:03:02. > :03:03.outside Parliament earlier. If approved, HS2 would carve through

:03:04. > :03:07.Buckinghamshire and North Oxfordshire. The Government's facing

:03:08. > :03:14.a backbench rebellion when they vote in the next half an hour. The

:03:15. > :03:17.legislation is expected to pass because it has Labour's support.

:03:18. > :03:19.Protestors say they'll keep fighting. I have said to the

:03:20. > :03:24.hundreds gathered outside who are against this project there is a long

:03:25. > :03:27.way to go. We have a hybrid bill and report stage and third reading in

:03:28. > :03:31.this House. We then have a process in the House of Lords. Then, of

:03:32. > :03:34.course, the Chancellor has to find that money.

:03:35. > :03:38.Thames Valley Police say a four`year`old girl knocked down by a

:03:39. > :03:40.car in Oxford on Saturday remains in a serious but stable condition in

:03:41. > :03:43.hospital. It's thought the child was cycling

:03:44. > :03:48.along the pavement in Cowley at the time. She was struck by a red car

:03:49. > :03:49.pulling out from a car park and was airlifted to the John Radcliffe

:03:50. > :03:53.Hospital. A man's wanted by police after the

:03:54. > :03:58.attempted abduction of a woman in Milton Keynes. An e`fit image has

:03:59. > :04:02.been released. It's claimed the man drove his car alongside the woman as

:04:03. > :04:06.she was walking in New Bradwell. He repeatedly asked her to get into his

:04:07. > :04:12.car, then tried to pull her inside. She screamed and, as people came out

:04:13. > :04:15.of nearby pub, the man drove off. Work's started on turning part of

:04:16. > :04:19.Bicester into the UK's first eco`town. Developers have begun

:04:20. > :04:24.digging up land on the outskirts of the town. The idea is to create an

:04:25. > :04:28.energy efficient community with thousands of homes. But there are

:04:29. > :04:34.worries about how Bicester will deal with a big increase in housing.

:04:35. > :04:38.Adina Campbell reports. It's been five years in the making

:04:39. > :04:41.and finally we are at this point where we are seeing the digger over

:04:42. > :04:47.there doing some work. Tell us what's going to happen over the next

:04:48. > :04:50.two to three months? The digger is starting the preparation work for

:04:51. > :04:54.the infrastructure that will bring roads in, allow workmen on site. You

:04:55. > :04:58.will see to the right is where the show homes will be. That will be the

:04:59. > :05:02.first homes coming out of the ground and the public being able to see

:05:03. > :05:06.what they'll look like. This is part of turning north`west Bicester into

:05:07. > :05:11.the country's first eco`town costing millions of pounds. In about 20

:05:12. > :05:21.years', this site will include 6,000 new homes, a primary school, and an

:05:22. > :05:26.eco`pub. The first phase is expected to be finished by 2019 with hundreds

:05:27. > :05:31.of zero`carbon homes. Some of the features include triple glazing and

:05:32. > :05:35.solar panels. Before any of that access roads need to be put down as

:05:36. > :05:42.well as offices for staff. Behind us is the compound for the workers.

:05:43. > :05:50.This is the welfare area. The office for the technical staff, canteen

:05:51. > :05:53.facilities. Some campaigners claim that Bicester isn't ready for this

:05:54. > :05:57.level of housing growth and are concerned about the knock`on effects

:05:58. > :06:03.of extra traffic. This may be acres of green space at the moment but by

:06:04. > :06:05.2019 the hope is this area will be completely transformed into a

:06:06. > :06:11.top`class environmentally friendly community.

:06:12. > :06:14.Oxfordshire highways engineers are considering proposals to raise the

:06:15. > :06:20.level of Playhatch Road near Reading to avoid future flooding. The

:06:21. > :06:26.stretch leading to Sonning Bridge has been closed for several weeks

:06:27. > :06:29.this year. It remains at reduced capacity with temporary traffic

:06:30. > :06:36.lights in place while carriageway repairs are carried out. You can

:06:37. > :06:43.catch up with all the football action tonight on Late Kick Off.

:06:44. > :06:50.That's it from us for now. We are back in BBC Breakfast tomorrow. Good

:06:51. > :06:55.night, here's the weather. A lot of mist and fog through

:06:56. > :07:00.tonight, the odd stray shower but for most it will stay predominantly

:07:01. > :07:03.dry. Temperatures will fall to around 7`8C. A frost`free night.

:07:04. > :07:07.Tomorrow we will see sunshine once the mist and fog lifts. With that

:07:08. > :07:11.sunshine that may trigger one or two thundery showers. We did have a few

:07:12. > :07:14.thunderstorms today. Could be similar to tomorrow and those

:07:15. > :07:21.showers will be slow`moving with the light winds. We are looking at highs

:07:22. > :07:25.of 14C. It does stay unsettled for the rest of the week. We are looking

:07:26. > :07:29.at rain or showers at times. Some sunshine to be had. But the showers

:07:30. > :07:31.will be slow`moving with light winds. Storms are a possibility.

:07:32. > :07:37.Thursday and then it will turn much cooler as we go into the bank

:07:38. > :07:43.holiday weekend. Hello, I am going to throw some

:07:44. > :07:48.numbers at you first of all. 22 Celsius was the temperature recorded

:07:49. > :07:49.at Aviemore making it the warmest day of the year
