:00:00. > :00:09.limited. That's all from us.
:00:10. > :00:13.limited. Good evening. A man from Swindon
:00:14. > :00:17.who's being held in jail in the Philippines has spoken publicly for
:00:18. > :00:20.the first time about the toll it's taking on his mental health.
:00:21. > :00:25.48`year`old Kevin Taylor has been in prison for five years but is still
:00:26. > :00:27.waiting for a trial. He's accused of being involved in illegal
:00:28. > :00:30.immigration with his Filipino wife. His parents have spent ?18,000
:00:31. > :00:35.fighting his case. Sarah Jane Bungay has the story.
:00:36. > :00:38.Kevin Taylor in happier times. He had made a life from himself in the
:00:39. > :00:42.Philippines ` a wife, three young children, his own business. But then
:00:43. > :00:46.everything changed. Kevin's wife Charlene has detailed his arrest
:00:47. > :00:50.here on her blog. In May 2009, he was taken from his office on
:00:51. > :00:53.suspicion of illegal recruitment. Kevin claims the allegations were
:00:54. > :00:58.made by former employees who he had sacked. He completely denies them.
:00:59. > :01:05.Now Charlene is also under arrest and Kevin has spoken to the BBC of
:01:06. > :01:11.their time behind bars. I sleep on the floor on a mat and have done for
:01:12. > :01:14.the last five years now. I suffer from boils a lot, skin rashes. I get
:01:15. > :01:24.depression tablets every day, that helps. For Kevin's parents from
:01:25. > :01:29.Swindon, it's meant a huge financial toll ` ?18,000 of savings have gone
:01:30. > :01:33.on trying to resolve the situation. We've always said if he's done what
:01:34. > :01:37.they say he did, then they've got to put him on trial and he's got to
:01:38. > :01:45.take his chances on whatever sentence he gets. But don't do it
:01:46. > :01:48.this way. This is not right. I believe in the most overcrowded
:01:49. > :01:52.prisons in that area in Asia, disease can spread quickly.
:01:53. > :01:56.Unsanitary conditions can exacerbate health conditions. Being in prison
:01:57. > :02:06.overseas can even make your mental health deteriorate. Today the
:02:07. > :02:09.Foreign and Commonwealth Office told us it has remained in direct contact
:02:10. > :02:13.with Kevin by letters or telephone but added it was unable to interfere
:02:14. > :02:19.in the judicial process of another country and must respect its legal
:02:20. > :02:21.system. I haven't seen any of my daughters now for 18 months.
:02:22. > :02:30.Heartbreaking, really. I miss them so much. Kevin is now pinning his
:02:31. > :02:32.hopes of the 3rd of July when his case will once again come before a
:02:33. > :02:41.judge in the Philippines. A man's been charged after police
:02:42. > :02:44.raided a pub in Oxford in a major drugs operation. Police raided the
:02:45. > :02:47.Nelson Pub in Cowley on Friday night. A 55`year`old from Oxford was
:02:48. > :02:56.arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.

:03:01. > :03:05.Honda has confirmed it will be making 99 compulsory redundancies at
:03:06. > :03:08.its Swindon plant before the end of the month. The firm had been

:03:14. > :03:20.Europe. The health condition lupus can be
:03:21. > :03:23.very debilitating, even life threatening, but it's also very
:03:24. > :03:26.difficult to diagnose. Now, a man from Wantage in Oxfordshire has made
:03:27. > :03:29.it his mission to highlight the symptoms in the hope that more
:03:30. > :03:35.people will recognise the signs and go to their GPs. Caroline Richardson

:03:40. > :03:45.the oldest teenager in town. At 61, he doesn't drive a sensible family

:04:08. > :04:11.fatigue and joint pain which doctors thought was rheumatoid arthritis.
:04:12. > :04:17.Then serious heart problems led to open heart surgery and an eventual

:04:51. > :04:55.Blenheim Palace is hoping to become the greenest stately home in the
:04:56. > :04:58.country with the help of a giant screw that's been installed in the
:04:59. > :05:01.grounds of the estate. It will harness power from a river and help
:05:02. > :05:05.power the palace. Katharine DaCosta has been to find out more.
:05:06. > :05:08.It's taken four years of painstaking design and planning, but today a
:05:09. > :05:11.giant corkscrew was very carefully manoeuvred into place on the River
:05:12. > :05:14.Glyme in the heart of the Blenheim Estate. The Archimedean screw is
:05:15. > :05:17.designed to harness the water's natural energy. The screw sits on a

:05:32. > :05:34.Oxfordshire, this scheme in Maple Durham is already generating
:05:35. > :05:39.electricity. This turbine was installed at the last working water
:05:40. > :05:42.mill on the River Thames in 2011. And there are dozens more pioneering
:05:43. > :05:47.projects being planned along the Thames. The Blenheim Project's
:05:48. > :05:50.relatively small in comparison but it's part of the estate's mission to
:05:51. > :05:55.become the country's greenest stately home. It's already installed
:05:56. > :06:00.solar panels and a ground source heat pump. This hydropower scheme
:06:01. > :06:07.should save a ?5,500 from its energy bills. Unlike wind and solar, hydro
:06:08. > :06:14.power does not rely on the weather so it can operate all year round.
:06:15. > :06:17.This particular scheme is designed to generate 15kW of electricity,
:06:18. > :06:23.enough to power the equivalent of about 20 homes. And any surplus
:06:24. > :06:27.energy generated can be sold to the national grid. And with a 40`60 year
:06:28. > :06:28.life span, this giant turbine has provided a modern twist to this
:06:29. > :06:42.historic estate. That's it from us for now. We're
:06:43. > :06:44.back in BBC Breakfast tomorrow morning. For now, goodnight and,
:06:45. > :06:56.with the weather, here's Alexis Green.
:06:57. > :07:04.A fair amount of cloud tonight. Temperatures will fall to a chilly
:07:05. > :07:08.six or seven Celsius. There may be one or two showers to start the day
:07:09. > :07:13.tomorrow. They will bubble up during the afternoon, sparked off by the
:07:14. > :07:16.sunny spells during the day. There might be the odd rumble of thunder
:07:17. > :07:22.and the showers could be on the heavy side. The winds are like

:07:33. > :07:33.and as we head towards Friday temperatures will pick up towards 21
