:00:00. > :00:00.while the Cricketers Arms pub was showing an England football match.

:00:00. > :00:07.A decade on, and still searching for justice, his family has been

:00:08. > :00:10.back in Oxfordshire to help police renew their appeal for help

:00:11. > :00:22.they believe a group of men from Wales may hold vital evidence.

:00:23. > :00:29.How can anyone live with this? A decade on, still no answers, only

:00:30. > :00:41.questions about the murder of her son. Not living, just existing. They

:00:42. > :00:48.are horrible. Every time I look at Michelle and the kids. He was known

:00:49. > :00:51.as body as he had so many friends. This footage, released today, was

:00:52. > :00:59.taken when he was in Spain, two years before he died. He was beaten

:01:00. > :01:06.with a dumbbell at the Cricketers Arms pub in Banbury. The court case

:01:07. > :01:10.collapsed when it could not be proved who dealt the final blow. In

:01:11. > :01:14.2009, an inquest ruled that he had been unlawfully killed. A year

:01:15. > :01:19.later, the family unsuccessfully issued civil damages against three

:01:20. > :01:36.men who were in the pub that night. Mr LaBelle's `` Kevin Lavelle family

:01:37. > :01:45.say they want justice. James is not got his dad to do things with. The

:01:46. > :01:48.lead investigator retired earlier this year that he has returned to

:01:49. > :01:52.help the police with their investigation. It will continue to

:01:53. > :01:57.be issued, even if it takes another ten years. There are people out

:01:58. > :02:00.there who will have been party to discussions with regards to what

:02:01. > :02:07.happened that night. The pub has been converted into flats but that

:02:08. > :02:12.does not harmed the police investigation because plenty of DNA

:02:13. > :02:17.evidence was collected at a time. What is lacking is a key eyewitness,

:02:18. > :02:25.someone who saw the person who beat Kevin Lavelle to death. He is

:02:26. > :02:30.remembered in the estate in Banbury that he was helping to build. His

:02:31. > :02:33.family say they will fight for a conviction as long as it takes.

:02:34. > :02:36.An Aylesbury man's been jailed for the rape

:02:37. > :02:38.and attempted serious assault of a pregnant woman in Norwich

:02:39. > :02:42.Peter Carroll from Barnsbury Avenue also attempted to strangle

:02:43. > :02:45.his 20`year`old victim, leaving her unconscious at the scene.

:02:46. > :02:48.She scratched his face in the attack ` and although DNA

:02:49. > :02:51.samples couldn't be recovered at the time, more recent advances in

:02:52. > :02:54.technology meant police were able to match the sample to Carroll when the

:02:55. > :02:59.A baby, given potentially contaminated feed

:03:00. > :03:02.at a Buckinghamshire Hospital, is responding well to antibiotics

:03:03. > :03:07.Stoke Mandeville was one of 22 hospitals to be sent the solution,

:03:08. > :03:09.designed to deliver nutrients through a drip

:03:10. > :03:13.when an infant is unable to feed on its own.

:03:14. > :03:19.that no other babies were given the affected feed.

:03:20. > :03:21.It says it's improved infection control at the hospital.

:03:22. > :03:25.Parents on a growing housing estate in Milton Keynes are concerned that

:03:26. > :03:28.a shortage of primary school places is only going to get worse

:03:29. > :03:32.30 families who live in the catchment area for

:03:33. > :03:34.Oxley Park Academy have been told it's oversubscribed

:03:35. > :03:38.and have been offered alternative schools much further away.

:03:39. > :03:41.While many have lodged appeals, the council says it's facing a difficult

:03:42. > :03:50.In three months time, Zane Sampson starts school.

:03:51. > :03:54.His parents had hoped he'd attend the one closest to home `

:03:55. > :03:59.But they've been told it's oversubscribed.

:04:00. > :04:01.The four`year`old's now been allocated a place

:04:02. > :04:09.Our family only have one car, which my husband uses to get to work, so

:04:10. > :04:13.that would mean I would have to walk Zane 45 minutes every day in all

:04:14. > :04:18.weathers to school and pick him up again, so that's twice in a day, so

:04:19. > :04:22.for a little tot that's quite a long distance to have to walk

:04:23. > :04:26.Zane is not the only child to miss out

:04:27. > :04:31.Around 30 children who live in the catchment area have also

:04:32. > :04:36.In a statement Milton Keynes Council says it recognises

:04:37. > :04:39.the disappointment of parents here, but says this area presents them

:04:40. > :04:44.Firstly the birth rate has risen significantly in recent years

:04:45. > :04:48.and secondly the scope for expansion at the school is limited.

:04:49. > :04:52.Across the town, as a whole 88% of children were

:04:53. > :04:58.In Oxley Park, a growing estate, Louise Sampson believes

:04:59. > :05:01.unless a solution is found, there will continue to be

:05:02. > :05:08.Louise says sending Zane to an alternative school will have

:05:09. > :05:17.Her only hope is a successful appeal.

:05:18. > :05:19.A lorry driver's been arrested on suspicion of causing death

:05:20. > :05:23.by dangerous driving after two men died in an accident on the M4

:05:24. > :05:29.The men were in a van which collided with the lorry close to junction 17,

:05:30. > :05:35.Three other passengers were injured and taken to hospital.

:05:36. > :05:38.70 workers at a distribution firm in Swindon are to lose their jobs.

:05:39. > :05:41.Staff at the logistics company Menlo were told at the weekend

:05:42. > :05:44.that their work on behalf of the underwear manufacturer Triumph

:05:45. > :05:52.is transferring to Triumph's base in France.

:05:53. > :05:55.Menlo has packed and distributed products for the business in Swindon

:05:56. > :05:58.Triumph says it's streamlining its operation

:05:59. > :06:02.to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

:06:03. > :06:05.Next tonight ` it's as close as possible to dealing

:06:06. > :06:09.Trainee doctors at Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital are

:06:10. > :06:13.getting the chance to practice on a full sized mannequin which responds

:06:14. > :06:18.With its voice supplied by an instructor observing from next door,

:06:19. > :06:22.the dummy is helping staff to learn how to deal with traumatic injuries.

:06:23. > :06:29.This is as close to the real thing as it gets.

:06:30. > :06:39.A simulated injury, yes, but with added complications thrown in `

:06:40. > :06:43.to not only test the clinical expertise of the medical staff,

:06:44. > :06:49.We don't want them making critical decisions that they've not done

:06:50. > :06:52.before or not had the familiarisation training to do

:06:53. > :06:57.I think that's where simulation and the partnership we have with

:06:58. > :07:01.the John Radcliffe Hospital has been really useful, because we can do

:07:02. > :07:06.these scenarios without having to make mistakes that hopefully in the

:07:07. > :07:10.future, when they're managing real patients, they won't do.

:07:11. > :07:21.One of a number of people assessing the trauma team's performance.

:07:22. > :07:23.The John Radcliffe hospital is the Major Trauma Centre

:07:24. > :07:27.It's treating more patients suffering from complex

:07:28. > :07:32.And bosses there say this unique programme helps them offer

:07:33. > :07:38.They get to learn to explore and demonstrate behaviours

:07:39. > :07:43.in a safe, simulated environment, away from the patient's bedside.

:07:44. > :07:47.Of course, that is incredibly powerful in terms of learning

:07:48. > :07:51.about improving training, improving behaviour and techniques.

:07:52. > :07:55.The team here know next time the person will be very real,

:07:56. > :08:05.A biotech business near Didcot is doubling is size, after agreeing

:08:06. > :08:10.a multimillion pound deal with the drug company GlaxoSmithKline.

:08:11. > :08:12.Adaptimmune at Milton Park is recruiting an additional thirty

:08:13. > :08:17.It's running clinical trials in America in

:08:18. > :08:20.which healthy cells are taken from patients, and are then adapted

:08:21. > :08:27.The deal with GlaxsoSmithKline will last seven years.

:08:28. > :08:33.We're doing two things ` we're expanding the trials, the patient

:08:34. > :08:36.trials, but we're also managing to put further money into the research,

:08:37. > :08:41.And for second generation products attacking new types of cancer

:08:42. > :08:47.That's all from me for the moment. I'll be back at 10:25pm.

:08:48. > :08:59.Now more of today's stories with Tony Husband.

:09:00. > :09:03.The Foreign Office says it is aware a British national has received

:09:04. > :09:06.a custodial sentence in the country and is providing help.

:09:07. > :09:08.UAE authorities have not responded to the claims.

:09:09. > :09:15.Coming up, Alexis Green has tips for us.

:09:16. > :09:20.Find out why dressing like this can help you with your learning.

:09:21. > :09:24.The family of a teenager killed while on holiday on a Greek island

:09:25. > :09:28.is preparing to fly out for the re`trial of the man who killed him.

:09:29. > :09:29.18`year`old Robert Sebbage from Tadley

:09:30. > :09:31.was stabbed in Zakynthos three years ago.

:09:32. > :09:33.A taxi driver was jailed for 11 years,

:09:34. > :09:35.but legal teams on both sides have appealed.

:09:36. > :09:46.This lady has been here before. As she finished packing today, ready to

:09:47. > :09:49.fly to Athens, she admitted preparing for the second trial of

:09:50. > :09:55.her son has been an emotional roller`coaster. I wasn't going to go

:09:56. > :09:58.back. There are numerous reasons why you do not want to go back. But on

:09:59. > :10:03.the other hand, you have got to do it for him. If we do not go, there

:10:04. > :10:08.is no voice for him, no one defending him as a person. When it

:10:09. > :10:14.is all done and whatever happens happens, it will be good to sit down

:10:15. > :10:22.and grieve properly. It needs to be done, and like mum was seeing, it is

:10:23. > :10:27.good it has come down this quick. A taxi driver was jailed for 11 years

:10:28. > :10:34.for the attack on Robert and his friends on the resort island of

:10:35. > :10:39.family devastated. Whatever happens family devastated. Whatever happens

:10:40. > :10:43.this time, the family know it will not bring Robert Black. This year he

:10:44. > :10:51.would have celebrated his 21st birthday. His friends will tell

:10:52. > :10:57.their story to the Greek courts once more. It is difficult when they are

:10:58. > :10:59.going to have a birthday and celebrate with their families and we

:11:00. > :11:07.did not have that opportunity. We will never ever get used to having

:11:08. > :11:11.him taken away from us. When you see your family together, and there is

:11:12. > :11:20.one person missing, that is a tough one. The trial will get underway on

:11:21. > :11:23.Wednesday. The family set off tomorrow for the trial on the Greek

:11:24. > :11:26.mainland. It opened 100 years

:11:27. > :11:28.after the Titanic left Southampton. But now a BBC investigation

:11:29. > :11:30.has discovered that the Sea City Museum is failing

:11:31. > :11:34.to meet visitor and income targets. As a result, the city council

:11:35. > :11:37.has had to help meet the ?430,000 shortfall since the

:11:38. > :11:39.attraction opened two years ago. Our Hampshire Political Reporter

:11:40. > :11:55.Jessica Parker has the story. Two years on from its launch in

:11:56. > :12:00.2012, crowds outside the ?15 million Sea City Museum are not quite so

:12:01. > :12:02.big. Either start of April this year, projections were that the

:12:03. > :12:08.museum would have welcomed 250,000 visitors. That target has been

:12:09. > :12:14.missed. As has the hoped`for income of around ?2 million. In fact, the

:12:15. > :12:20.attraction has ended up costing the council over ?430,000. This

:12:21. > :12:25.councillor was the Cabinet member in charge of delivering Zakynthos under

:12:26. > :12:29.the previous Conservative administration `` Sea City. He says

:12:30. > :12:33.a new approach is needed. It is time we looked to outsource the

:12:34. > :12:39.management of the museum to specialist operators who I think

:12:40. > :12:46.could do a better job. Football has gone down dramatically in the

:12:47. > :12:52.museum's second year. It might need more interaction, things you can

:12:53. > :12:56.do. A couple of French friends arrived in the middle of May, and

:12:57. > :13:03.they thought it was brilliant, for all the family. It should never have

:13:04. > :13:08.been built, complete waste of money. Marketing for Sea City is set to

:13:09. > :13:13.become more targeted, and the council insists it does benefit the

:13:14. > :13:17.area. The people who visit the museum or from outside Southampton.

:13:18. > :13:25.They come here, they put their money into the coppers from which the city

:13:26. > :13:27.benefits. Work needs to continue on this attraction to at least balance

:13:28. > :13:28.the books. Condor Ferries has confirmed

:13:29. > :13:31.plans to buy a new larger ship which will not fit

:13:32. > :13:34.the current berth at Weymouth. The company is asking

:13:35. > :13:36.the local council to fund extensive changes

:13:37. > :13:37.to the port. It says without the investment it

:13:38. > :13:41.could leave the town and move Our Transport Correspondent

:13:42. > :13:57.Paul Clifton reports. Condor want this amused outer birth

:13:58. > :14:04.refurbished. It plans to buy a ?15 million ship to replace both its

:14:05. > :14:13.ferries from Weymouth and pool. It will not fit here on the day's

:14:14. > :14:21.berth. The port of them collapsing into the sea. Cancellations over the

:14:22. > :14:26.last winter would have been down, the worst winter in 200 years, would

:14:27. > :14:30.have been down by 90%. That is a pretty compelling reason for it.

:14:31. > :14:35.There are facilities here that could be made available, and we are hoping

:14:36. > :14:43.to make them available. Whatever happens, one of condor's ports will

:14:44. > :14:51.largest employers. This town lost largest employers. This town lost

:14:52. > :14:57.millions of pounds' worth of tourist traffic, when hoteliers complained

:14:58. > :14:59.of a drop in bookings. Everyone knows that a big slice of the local

:15:00. > :15:03.economy is at stake. Fancy unleashing your inner monkey,

:15:04. > :15:06.learning about the future of the human race or even have a lesson

:15:07. > :15:10.in what bugs are safe to eat? The Bournemouth Festival of Learning

:15:11. > :15:14.is home to over 150 free events It's in its second year, and

:15:15. > :15:36.as Alexis Green found out earlier, Is this the kind of situation that

:15:37. > :15:41.scares you? Here at Bournemouth University, they have taken away the

:15:42. > :15:51.testing element. To make education more fun. There are over 153 events

:15:52. > :15:56.taking place this week, open to the public and to all ages. But with so

:15:57. > :16:03.many events on offer, it may be hard to decide which ones to go for. You

:16:04. > :16:11.may want to sit behind the scenes at Match Of The Day or even taste a

:16:12. > :16:17.variety of bugs, or simply find out how the stock market works. Today

:16:18. > :16:23.was the opening day. Even will its `` David will its came along. He is

:16:24. > :16:29.trying out this lamp which reads your brainwaves to tell you whether

:16:30. > :16:35.you are relaxed or stressed. I started off quite relaxed and then

:16:36. > :16:41.the BBC asked me a question... ! Why is it important for these kind of

:16:42. > :16:45.events to happen at universities? It brings people from all over the area

:16:46. > :16:49.into the University. It is a celebration of what the students

:16:50. > :16:55.here have achieved. What are your favourites? The website where people

:16:56. > :17:01.can type in views and get some indication of what that means, that

:17:02. > :17:09.might be a great way of getting young people interested in politics.

:17:10. > :17:14.We are going to find out why you should not washed chickens, because

:17:15. > :17:20.it spreads bacteria all over the kitchen. Phillip Hudson is showing

:17:21. > :17:29.how far bacteria can spread. Our next stop, are you a super taster?

:17:30. > :17:34.We are going to give them a test to see if they are super taster of

:17:35. > :17:37.vegetables. Some members of the population can actually taste

:17:38. > :17:41.bitterness. Vegetables such as broccoli, sprouts, people can

:17:42. > :17:48.bitter. This might explain why some bitter. This might explain why some

:17:49. > :17:55.children do not like vegetables. I am not a super taster. I am able to

:17:56. > :18:00.taste, like, food, like, better than other people. Are you slightly

:18:01. > :18:06.disappointed you are not a super taster? I thought they all tasted

:18:07. > :18:10.the same so I thought I wasn't going to be a super taster. This is all

:18:11. > :18:21.about getting the community involved. Yes, we are an open

:18:22. > :18:24.canvas. We want to inspire some children to become academic and go

:18:25. > :18:29.into a career in research in the future. Here in the motion capture

:18:30. > :18:40.studio, you can even find out your inner animal.

:18:41. > :18:46.I never would have said Alexis was a dragon. It is a very exciting week

:18:47. > :18:53.in the sport. I have got my wall chart. I do get very excited around

:18:54. > :19:03.this time. Luke Shaw is going to be there. There was more unwelcome news

:19:04. > :19:05.for fans of Southampton. One of that code team that helped them to their

:19:06. > :19:09.best ever points return in the Premier League has said he wants to

:19:10. > :19:14.move away. It has transpired that Luke Shaw has told Saints he wants

:19:15. > :19:17.to move to Manchester United. He said that on the last day of the

:19:18. > :19:23.season. The 18`year`old spoke to club bosses about the move following

:19:24. > :19:27.their 1`1 draw against Manchester United on the 11th of May. Saints

:19:28. > :19:31.have turned down an offer for the left but. They will not consider

:19:32. > :19:36.more players leaving until a new manager is appointed. Striker Rickie

:19:37. > :19:39.Lambert has already been sold to Liverpool, while Captain Adam

:19:40. > :19:42.Lallana has also said he wants to leave.

:19:43. > :19:45.The misery continued for England women's hockey team in the World Cup

:19:46. > :19:47.in the Netherlands, with the side suffering

:19:48. > :19:51.The team took an early lead against Argentina through Reading's

:19:52. > :19:55.Alex Danson, one of five players from the town in the England squad.

:19:56. > :19:57.But after levelling, Argentina dominated the second half, winning

:19:58. > :20:01.the match in the final play of the game, a heartbreaking way to lose.

:20:02. > :20:05.The team who are ranked third in the world were already out

:20:06. > :20:12.They play their final match against Germany tomorrow.

:20:13. > :20:19.It sums up what has happened in the last week. Things have not quite

:20:20. > :20:28.gone our way. It is devastating, there is no other word for it. But

:20:29. > :20:33.we are professional, in the way we can and have performed. We can feel

:20:34. > :20:37.proud of one another and proud to play, and that is what we did today,

:20:38. > :20:43.and that is what we will do against Germany. The men are also starting

:20:44. > :20:43.their match against Belgium around now.

:20:44. > :20:46.A brilliant solo effort from Dorset golfer Georgia Hall couldn't prevent

:20:47. > :20:48.America winning the Curtis Cup last night.

:20:49. > :20:51.She holed out from the fairway during her three and two victory

:20:52. > :20:56.The Parkstone Golf Club player is due to turn pro later this year.

:20:57. > :21:05.England's first indoor trampoline park has opened in Surrey. Situated

:21:06. > :21:08.in a 27,000 square feet warehouse in Camberley it features wall`to`wall

:21:09. > :21:12.trampoline courts, foam pits and angled trampolines around the walls.

:21:13. > :21:43.They are literally bouncing off the walls. In a 27,000 square feet

:21:44. > :21:46.warehouse, there is any kind of trampoline you could wish for. The

:21:47. > :21:53.idea behind it is making fitness fun. The inspiration to create this

:21:54. > :21:58.concept came from the weather. We had the wettest June on record. We

:21:59. > :22:05.wanted to engage the youth of today and that gets them exercising and

:22:06. > :22:10.having fun away from their iPads. We thought there must be something like

:22:11. > :22:16.this in England already, and then we realised that there was nothing like

:22:17. > :22:21.it here. In America there are over 170 trampoline parks like this one.

:22:22. > :22:26.Here you can trampoline for exercise, fun, or to hone your

:22:27. > :22:30.gymnastic skills. Amanda Parker is a local teacher and champion

:22:31. > :22:35.trampoline is, and she believes it is ideal to encourage schoolchildren

:22:36. > :22:39.to get into exercise. I think they will find it very appealing. The

:22:40. > :22:47.ideal is to get some of our students to come down, use the facilities,

:22:48. > :22:52.Haradh jump, play some dodge ball, and also get maybe some of the girls

:22:53. > :22:58.that are not quite as into the sport, come and do the fitness
