:00:00. > :00:08.A quick reminder, you can see more of that interview with Pele on BBC

:00:09. > :00:11.Good evening. A woman from Oxford who's been battling extradition to

:00:12. > :00:14.the United States for four years has been told by the High Court she must

:00:15. > :00:17.go back to face parental kidnap charges. Eileen Clark came to the UK

:00:18. > :00:20.with her three young children in 1998 after the breakdown of her

:00:21. > :00:23.marriage. Her lawyers claims she was a victim of domestic violence and

:00:24. > :00:34.shouldn't be facing any criminal charges. Charlotte Stacey reports.

:00:35. > :00:41.Rebecca was just six when she came to the UK with her mum and two

:00:42. > :00:46.brothers. They now call Oxford home, but four years ago her mum, Eileen,

:00:47. > :00:49.was arrested and charged with international parental kidnapping.

:00:50. > :00:54.That was probably the worst day of my life. I remember it very clearly.

:00:55. > :01:00.I remember the police officers walking out with her. I remember her

:01:01. > :01:06.crying profusely. My brothers having a stern face, as brothers often do.

:01:07. > :01:10.After a series of court hearings and a failed appeal, human rights

:01:11. > :01:17.organisation Liberty took up Eileen's case in 2012. They believe

:01:18. > :01:19.issues like the fact she was in an abusive marriage hadn't been

:01:20. > :01:24.properly considered. We had a lot of evidence that that was going on and

:01:25. > :01:28.that's why she left. To require a victim of domestic violence 20 years

:01:29. > :01:32.later to go back and answer these charges is wholly disproportionate,

:01:33. > :01:38.a waste of everybody's time and it will have a terrible impact on

:01:39. > :01:42.Eileen and her children. Eileen suffers from post`traumatic stress

:01:43. > :01:47.disorder, a fear of flying and other anxieties issues. Her family fear

:01:48. > :01:54.for her future. My worry is she will be sent back to prison and she will

:01:55. > :01:59.sit there and rot in a jail cell and just... And nothing good will come

:02:00. > :02:04.of this, because it is not about justice in the end, it is vengeance.

:02:05. > :02:06.What happens next rests with the European Court of Human Rights,

:02:07. > :02:11.which should make a decision in a matter of weeks. Her family say that

:02:12. > :02:13.Eileen still believes that leaving the United States was the right

:02:14. > :02:16.thing to do. A man accused of murder has told a

:02:17. > :02:20.court in Milton Keynes that he had no idea his friend planned to kill

:02:21. > :02:23.two teenagers. Mohammed Farah and Amin Ismail were shot in a dispute

:02:24. > :02:26.over drug dealing on the Fishermead estate in 2011. Brahim Hajji, who's

:02:27. > :02:29.from Holland, wept in court as he admitted he was present at the

:02:30. > :02:32.murders, but said he did not take part. He and 20`year`old Kenyan`born

:02:33. > :02:40.Ahmed Ahmed deny the charges. A 49`year old man has been charged

:02:41. > :02:43.with arson following after a series of fires in Banbury. Three cash

:02:44. > :02:46.machines on the high street and the Freemasons village hall were

:02:47. > :02:48.targeted last Thursday. Colin Aries, who's homeless, has appeared before

:02:49. > :02:50.magistrates and been remanded in Beef farmers in the region say their

:02:51. > :02:59.income has dropped by around a quarter in the last year. They're

:03:00. > :03:02.blaming a rise in imported meat and say supermarkets need to be more

:03:03. > :03:17.supportive of local farmers. Jeremy These cows at chart ridge in Great

:03:18. > :03:22.Missenden are ready for market but there's no market for them, as

:03:23. > :03:28.demand for British beef is so low. We've had to keep animals here

:03:29. > :03:32.another six weeks, that's six weeks worth of bedding, feed and labour.

:03:33. > :03:40.Last year these cows were fetching the up to ?1,500 each. These are now

:03:41. > :03:45.worth ?1,100 and that loss adds up to around ?60,000 this year at the

:03:46. > :03:49.farm. British beef is worth less now partly because more meat is big

:03:50. > :03:54.imported, especially from Ireland and Poland. Also our eating habits

:03:55. > :03:58.are changing a. People are choosing not the spend on expensive beef

:03:59. > :04:07.joints. They are opting for cheaper cuts instead. This family feels let

:04:08. > :04:11.down by supermarkets who said back British food after the horsemeat

:04:12. > :04:16.scandal. Last week they said they did need us and would buy British

:04:17. > :04:21.beef, but 12 months on we don't see that now. The apprenticeship Retail

:04:22. > :04:27.Consortium says farmers of all livestock have the support of big

:04:28. > :04:32.chains. The Government is meeting beef producers and buyers next

:04:33. > :04:38.month. One thing we are looking at is opening up exports markets, to

:04:39. > :04:46.China for instance. A second we'll be looking at whether there is a

:04:47. > :04:50.role for a supermarket adjudicator. This family also produce crops and

:04:51. > :04:54.are confident their century old family farm will survive, but they

:04:55. > :04:58.are weighing up whether or not there is a future in cattle.

:04:59. > :05:01.?180 million is needed in Buckinghamshire over the next ten

:05:02. > :05:03.years to rebuild schools. Pupil numbers are expected to increase,

:05:04. > :05:06.particularly in Aylesbury and High Wycombe as the population grows. The

:05:07. > :05:09.County Council estimates it will need to rebuild an average of three

:05:10. > :05:16.It's a new take on takeaways. Oxford could become one of the first places

:05:17. > :05:19.in the country to ban polystyrene takeaway cartons. The city council's

:05:20. > :05:22.agreed that kebab and burger vans should only use biodegradeable or

:05:23. > :05:30.recyclable cartons. Stuart Tinworth has the story.

:05:31. > :05:39.Kebabs and chips with all the trimmings. Even if you are one of

:05:40. > :05:43.those who skips the salad, at least the packaging is set to get greener.

:05:44. > :05:50.The City Council is set to become possibly the first in Britain to

:05:51. > :05:56.insist that fast food vans use biodegradable or recyclable

:05:57. > :05:59.packaging When they throw away polystyrene it stay there is

:06:00. > :06:04.forever. The rule would be written into the terms of their licences but

:06:05. > :06:09.would people miss them? Every step towards green is positive but it

:06:10. > :06:14.needs to be billion balanced with the kebab van's interests. I think

:06:15. > :06:18.it is a great idea. Anything that contributes to saving the

:06:19. > :06:22.environment is a good thing. Some van owners are worried about

:06:23. > :06:28.suitable replacements but others have already invested in better

:06:29. > :06:32.boxes. My box is very easy for the council, for the bin. Green

:06:33. > :06:38.campaigners like OxClean are delighted. The proposals will now go

:06:39. > :06:43.out to consultation. In the meantime OxClean wants a simple message

:06:44. > :06:46.stamped on polystyrene cartons ` please bin me.

:06:47. > :06:49.Alexis is coming up with the regional weather forecast. That's

:06:50. > :07:03.A beautiful day today and another one tomorrow. One or two mist

:07:04. > :07:08.patches but clear spells. Temperatures in our towns and cities

:07:09. > :07:13.will drop to 11`12 Celsius. In the countryside perhaps 8`9 degrees.

:07:14. > :07:17.Blue skies from the word go tomorrow but during the mid morning and early

:07:18. > :07:21.afternoon we'll see cloud from the west. Still some sunny spells and

:07:22. > :07:27.remaining dry, with temperatures reaching a high of 22, possibly 23

:07:28. > :07:30.Celsius. Looking good as we head through the rest of the week.

:07:31. > :07:32.Temperatureses could be the warmest they have been this year on Friday.

:07:33. > :07:34.Up next is of a late storm, it turns a bit

:07:35. > :07:45.fresher into the weekend. On the eve of the World Cup, there

:07:46. > :07:48.was a bit of Brazil in Bridlington today because Bridlington on the

:07:49. > :07:52.east Yorkshire Coast shared the same top temperature as the Brazilian

:07:53. > :07:56.city of Sao Paulo, 22 degrees. That is as the weather settles down

:07:57. > :08:00.across the UK as this area of high pressure comes in. It's still with

:08:01. > :08:03.us at the weekend but its position will have changed slightly, changing

:08:04. > :08:08.the weather for some of us as a result, as we'll see in a moment.

:08:09. > :08:12.For the rest of tonight, it is dry and mainly clear. There will be some

:08:13. > :08:15.patchy mist and fog forming in south-west England and Wales, which

:08:16. > :08:19.will create weekly in the morning, and amateurs will fall away in the

:08:20. > :08:20.larger towns and city centres and
