:04:08. > :04:10.and scale of ambition going for community energy in the city
:04:11. > :04:13.and the county that we have been working on for the last two years.
:04:14. > :04:17.It is an engine room of cash that can keep revolving through projects.
:04:18. > :04:19.It allows us to focus on grouping the projects together so
:04:20. > :04:28.How will the council get its money back?
:04:29. > :04:31.Once projects are underway, they will be grouped togethdr
:04:32. > :04:34.and the Hub will then sell shares in them to the community.

:10:31. > :10:33.they can even see the dentist. Dental phobia is more common
:10:34. > :10:37.than many people think. Recent studies suggest that 36%
:10:38. > :10:39.of patients are routinely worried about going to the dentist but
:10:40. > :10:42.about 12% are so deeply anxhous they The biggest fears, not surprisingly,
:10:43. > :10:51.involve needles and pain. One dental surgery
:10:52. > :11:12.in Highcliffe is trying to combat Julie Robinson has been scared of
:11:13. > :11:24.dentists since she was eight years old. It's the drill, it's the smell
:11:25. > :11:29.of the surgery. Primarily, this must be a chartered thing becausd I can

:12:24. > :12:29.treatment in the 50s and 60s. Julie's fear stemmed from vhsits to
:12:30. > :12:34.a school dentist in Richmond. The whole thing was an awful
:12:35. > :12:41.experience. They didn't havd the technology they have now so it was
:12:42. > :12:47.always quite painful. I put on these special goggles. Caroline is about
:12:48. > :12:51.to start the examination. Some patients can't conquer their fear.
:12:52. > :12:57.One woman waited 38 years to see a dentist. It's about getting to know
:12:58. > :13:04.them as a person and understanding why they are so worried and helping
:13:05. > :13:11.them through in small stages. Well done, Julie. It's taken an hour to
:13:12. > :13:12.do a five minute examination but for one patient at least, it was worth

:13:19. > :13:33.people suffer from dental phobia. People can become phobic for a
:13:34. > :13:37.variety of different reasons but one of the most common reasons hs

:13:43. > :13:46.and they have learnt to become anxious from the dentist. A lot of
:13:47. > :13:56.people will wonder how you can people will wonder how you can
:13:57. > :13:59.conquer a phobia. Generally, throwing yourself into it doesn t
:14:00. > :14:04.work nearly as well is gradtally building yourself up to it, so if it
:14:05. > :14:08.is a dental phobia, it is a good idea to get yourself a denthst who
:14:09. > :14:13.knows a lot about phobias and is happy to take things slowly with
:14:14. > :14:17.you. Psychologists can also be helpful so you may start with
:14:18. > :14:20.something like being able to sit in the waiting room and then gdt a
:14:21. > :14:27.point where you are relaxed enough to do that and build`up to sitting
:14:28. > :14:30.in the dentist's chair be rdlaxed enough for that to go to thd next
:14:31. > :14:38.step so eventually, you can have dental treatment. Do you thhnk as a
:14:39. > :14:51.society, we are becoming more aware people's anxieties? We are becoming
:14:52. > :14:57.better at understanding people with phobia but we could still do a lot
:14:58. > :15:01.more to be understanding about it because it is something that is very
:15:02. > :15:04.serious to people. It is solething which can dominate your lifd.
:15:05. > :15:08.Now, it's a question most of us will mercifully never have to answer
:15:09. > :15:11.but what would you do if yot came face`to`face with the person who had
:15:12. > :15:15.Well, this chilling prospect forms the centre of a documdntary
:15:16. > :15:19.It tells the story of two South Africans whose lives collide
:15:20. > :15:25.One is a white woman whose daughter was shot and killed in a Cape Town
:15:26. > :15:26.attack, the other a black former militant
:15:27. > :15:47.South Africa in the early 90s, a country still shaking after decades
:15:48. > :15:51.of apartheid. In December 1893, anti`government gunmen attacked this
:15:52. > :15:58.tavern, killing four people, including a student. She was tall,
:15:59. > :16:06.dark, beautiful. She had bedn out with friends. They had only been
:16:07. > :16:12.there five minutes when somdone placed in with an AK`47 and shot at

:16:44. > :16:47.on civilian targets in Cape Town. Four years later, their paths
:16:48. > :17:03.crossed at a post`apartheid justice hearing. This is doomed to failure!
:17:04. > :17:10.Then in Cape Town in 2002, she decided the pair should meet. I saw
:17:11. > :17:15.them as a devil with horns `nd a tail and I needed to verify if that
:17:16. > :17:19.was the case. The story that followed has now been told hn the
:17:20. > :17:27.film. I was coming face`to`face with the person who was responsible for
:17:28. > :17:35.her death. And she had a message for that person. She said, in spite of
:17:36. > :17:45.the pain you caused me, I forgive you. It was like being struck by
:17:46. > :17:52.lightning. I made a consciots decision and a principled ddcision
:17:53. > :17:58.to give up my justifiable rhght to revenge. Forgiveness is part of the
:17:59. > :18:03.process of moving on. And producer behind the film says this mdssage
