:00:33. > :00:38.To some people, this is a simple sort of everyday t`sk.
:00:39. > :00:43.But for other people, they lay not have had the opportunitx to
:00:44. > :00:49.Southern Health says this khnd of community care is the future
:00:50. > :00:53.But after just 18 months of its ?6 million project, the
:00:54. > :00:58.county council is looking for other businesses which could take over.
:00:59. > :01:06.I think that we've had 18 months of working incredibly hard to learn to
:01:07. > :01:09.respond and to develop the services, and as we start to see real
:01:10. > :01:12.improvements in the services moving forward, we have a period where we
:01:13. > :01:19.actually don't know what the future looks like.
:01:20. > :01:22.Many families have been unhappy with Southern Health.
:01:23. > :01:24.This woman's son was put in a residential unit in Gloucdster,
:01:25. > :01:30.Plan and look forward to evdry Saturday, but it's
:01:31. > :01:40.Because if Kevin hadn't been sent out of county in the first place,
:01:41. > :01:44.But the biggest failing and catalyst for change was the death of this
:01:45. > :01:47.young man, Conor Sparrowhawk, at an inpatient unit in Oxford.
:01:48. > :01:51.The concerns that have been flagged up by relatives are feeling that
:01:52. > :01:54.they have no voice in the way that the organis`tion is
:01:55. > :02:03.And I think there's a real concern about local
:02:04. > :02:07.For adults with learning disabilities like Carolann,
:02:08. > :02:09.the future is about more help in the home.
:02:10. > :02:14.Earlier I spoke to John Jackson the Director for Social
:02:15. > :02:17.and Community Services at Oxfordshire County Counchl.
:02:18. > :02:20.I asked him if the relationship between the county and Southern
:02:21. > :02:26.The relationship's been badly affected obviously
:02:27. > :02:29.by what's happened, not just Connor Sparrowhawk's tragic death, but also
:02:30. > :02:34.by a series of critical reports by the Care Quality Commisshon.
:02:35. > :02:37.And that's why we've decided to review the services that
:02:38. > :02:42.You want to get out of the agreement now?
:02:43. > :02:45.Well, we're not saying that, what we're saying is we want to
:02:46. > :02:48.And what's really important is we get the right services in place
:02:49. > :02:52.for people with learning disabilities and their families
:02:53. > :02:54.But clearly there have been some significant failings and thdy need
:02:55. > :03:01.Six men have appeared in cotrt in Banbury charged with a string of sex
:03:02. > :03:05.It's alleged the offences happened in
:03:06. > :03:15.The six men from Banbury all appeared in court here charged with
:03:16. > :03:20.a total of 22 child sex offdnces against young teenage girls.
:03:21. > :03:25.They were arrested earlier this week after police were given warrants
:03:26. > :03:27.for a number of addresses hdre in Banbury.
:03:28. > :03:30.More than 50 officers were involved in that operation.
:03:31. > :03:31.It's claimed the offences against five girls,
:03:32. > :03:36.aged between 13 and 15, took place between 2011 and this year.
:03:37. > :03:43.Today in court, the six defdndants who are all aged between 19
:03:44. > :03:48.and 21 are facing a number of charges including rape, sexual
:03:49. > :03:54.activity with a child and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
:03:55. > :03:57.They were named as Ahmed Hassan Sule, Said Saldh,
:03:58. > :04:01.Mohammed Saleh, Takudzwa Hova, Kagiso Manase and Alexandru Nae
:04:02. > :04:07.20 year old Ahmed Hassan Sule is accused of nine counts
:04:08. > :04:12.of sexual activity with a child Mohammed Saleh, who's 21,
:04:13. > :04:17.The court heard some of the men lived in Africa
:04:18. > :04:22.All six men have been remanded in custody and are due to appear
:04:23. > :04:28.at Oxford Crown Court on thd 4th of July.
:04:29. > :04:30.A jury's heard that the man accused of murdering
:04:31. > :04:33.Oxfordshire teenager Jayden Parkinson pushed his ex`girlfriend
:04:34. > :04:36.down the stairs when she was seven months pregnant with his chhld.

:05:33. > :05:38.these savings are placed in such a way that people are not htrt.
:05:39. > :05:41.An Oxfordshire furniture design company has gone into adminhstration
:05:42. > :05:46.Corndell Furniture, in Witndy, says it's been facing financial
:05:47. > :05:51.The company, which is one of the UK's largest manufacturers,
