:00:40. > :00:49.But for Tracy Snelling and her family, this was also a farewell.

:00:50. > :00:52.Seven weeks later, she lost her battle against stomach cancer.

:00:53. > :00:54.Her husband Steve says she hid her suffering well.

:00:55. > :00:56.Everybody in the room knew that Tracy was dying.

:00:57. > :01:00.What they didn?t know was how ill she was on the day.

:01:01. > :01:05.We had to have a doctor out the night before to the hotel

:01:06. > :01:14.Tracy was a high`flyer, a senior manager with an internation`l bank.

:01:15. > :01:15.When she learned her cancer was terminal,

:01:16. > :01:25.Tracy had, for some time, s`id that if it didn't work out, she wanted to

:01:26. > :01:34.So, eventually, when we talked about it, she said she didn't fear death

:01:35. > :01:39.but she did fear how she might die. And so we talked about Dignhtas

:01:40. > :01:47.Tracy's condition deteriorated before arrangements could be made.

:01:48. > :01:56.And the best 10 years of that life have been with you.

:01:57. > :02:09.And I knew that she wanted to die, and I could easily have put

:02:10. > :02:27.And that's another thing th`t I regret.

:02:28. > :02:29.He believes the time has cole for a change in the law.

:02:30. > :02:31.Nobody should suffer like my wife suffered.

:02:32. > :02:36.You can choose when you marry, where you work, where you live, whether

:02:37. > :02:39.you have children or not, what car you drive, where you go on holiday.

:02:40. > :02:42.But when it comes to death you are denied that right

:02:43. > :02:45.And there is no logic to that argument.

:02:46. > :02:49.Steve is now trying hard to rebuild a life without Tracx.

:02:50. > :02:51.He is determined her memory will live on.

:02:52. > :02:58.He says he will continue to campaign for a change in the law so

:05:04. > :05:07.Elsewhere, in Swindon, the new funding includes pl`ns to

:05:08. > :05:09.build up to 8,000 homes in the east of the city.

:05:10. > :05:12.Improve access from the M4 to the Wichelstowe housing developlent

:05:13. > :05:15.Meanwhile, in Buckinghamshire, money will go on better road

:05:16. > :05:22.and rail links for congested areas around Aylesbury and High Wxcombe.
